I normally wear a 2. I ordered a 4 as my backup size. Really glad I did that as the 2 was uncomfortably small. The 4 fit well.

The dress definitely runs small. I wish the lace overlay was a half inch or so longer at the bottom. It kept creeping up, but that was my only (minor) complaint.

I typically wear size 8 but read comments from other ladies and decided to order size 10 which fit perfectly. The dress is beautiful and everyone had something to say about it. I also read from other ladies that the dress fabric made them itch; that was not the case for me.

I wore this to a fund-raiser gala. It was stunning. One lady came over and said, "I have got to see this dress, turn around. It's beautiful!" Glad I read other women's reviews. I'm normally a size 10, but others said this dress ran small. Ended up wearing the 12, it was perfect! It's very shiny in person, doesn't photograph that way. A little scratchy by arms, but not annoying.

This beautiful dress was perfect for my nephew's August wedding. It was comfortable and I got a lot of compliments on it.

I was a little hesitant to order this dress for two reasons, a) there are limited reviews, b) I don't like wearing white (or black) to a wedding. However, the lace overlay made it more beige/gold and I was going to a Christian/Hindu wedding so I figured I'd give it a try. It fit in perfectly with the type of wedding I was going to. It was a tad bit tight to move around in, but other than that it was great. I wore a strapless bra (which was hidden just right in the back) and underwear spanx, as I found the tummy part to be a bit revealing and wanted to gorge myself on Indian food. The 0 was pretty tight but the 2 gave me more room to dance, eat, drink, go to the bathroom etc. During the church wedding I wore white pumps and for the Hindu ceremony and reception I wore gold pumps. The problem I find with most RTR dresses is that I end up wanting to keep them!!

This dress was very flattering and incredibly unique. The 6 was a bit tight, so I went with the 8, which was much better. Everyone complimented the dress, and it was great for dancing. It allows you to move and breathe, and it is light enough that you really can stay cool. I love this dress, and would rent it again in a heartbeat.

The style of this dress is so unique. The color is just lovely; formal yet very soft and feminine. There is no give in this dress and my chest was incredibly compressed. This is a very normal occurs nice for me. I could have worn the 16 but it was just so big everywhere else. I think for most average busted women this dress would be a great fit.

Good fit, form fitting, but not trashy. A little scratchy, but fine if you're going to be wearing it for less than 3 hours or so. This was a back up dress, and wasn't worn. Not too big a fan of the style, but very pretty.

Stunning dress that I had fun accessorizing. It was easy to pair with mixes of matte and yellow gold. Opted for black shoes and fur due to cold temperatures. Ended up wearing the 4 because it fit thru the arms better than the 2 which I found to be tight through the armpits/shoulders (could be holiday weight gain haha.) I figured a little extra room would look better. The body on the 4 was just big enough where I had room to sit, dance, eat, etc. I got so many compliments! The detail is incredible.

Dress runs a bit small, but mostly because I have a big ribcage. The lace part got a bit itchy towards the end of the night. Absolutely no give in the material; overall very comfortable for a fitted dress.

Beautiful dress, elegant and sophisticated. Easy to wear with a strapless bra and spanx. Would probably look a little better on someone with a bigger chest.. I had to use cutlets to fill our the top and it still bagged a little. I paired with dark Badgley glitter pumps for an edgier look.

No stretch, so I wore the larger size. But, it gives a nice hourglass shape. The open upper back is sexy, and the nipped knee length is very sophisticated. The lace is a bit scratchy, but not a bother for only one evening.

I normally wear a 14 but wanted to "wiggle" room for dancing and felt more comfortable in the 16.

The dress itself - beautifully constructed, great details and love the front bodice. Dress on me - not so great. The lace was itchy! upon putting it on it turned my chest and shoulders bright red because it was irritated, A bunch of lotion and aloe vera helped The length, wow best suited for taller girls. This dress as you can see in the first picture was almost tea length. I am 5'3". The fit, loose everywhere! I had to wear a VS Add 2 cups bra for it to fill in the chest area (granted I do have a smaller chest). The waist area felt like it was not fitted/tapered and I thought about putting a belt/pinning it to give myself more shape but decided against it. The hips were a bit loose but not as bad as the waist. Overall, it felt like this dress was a bit too big for me. It looked great! and I got several compliments but the fit was meh!

I rented this dress for a fundraiser. The dress runs small, I'm usually a true 6 and ended up wearing the 8. E fabric has NO give and is definitely snug. The lace material is also a little itchy around the arms. I would not rent again.

I rented a 4 and a 6. I ended up wearing the size 6 because it just fit me better. Very comfortable and flattering in so many ways including the high-snap back closure. Though it may appear to be a little sheer there is plenty of material under the lace to cover. I received countless compliments from friends and strangers . I absolutely felt like a princess in this dress and would rent it again for sure!

I wear a true size 4 and as other commentators mentioned, it runs small and I wore the size 6 instead. I was able to fit into the 4, but it was skin tight leaving no room to bend, sit or dance. This was my first time using this site because I wanted an expensive dress for an important family event and did not want to spend the money. Mission accomplished! I received compliments all night from friends and family including the wait staff! The gold embroidery design is what made the dress look so special and unique. It was so classy, sexy and sophisticated and I felt great in it all night. One usually wears a dress once, especially to a family affair that everyone sees you in and so I'm happy I chose this option. Will definitely do this again! I love this site!

Loved the fit. Hugged my curves in all the right spots and gave me the appearance of having some breasts.

This dress fit me great, though I usually wear a 10 so order a size up. It hit right at my knee. The lace at the shoulders chafes, but it didn't really bother me until the very end of the night so not a deal breaker.

Was snug in the bodice but still felt beautiful. WEAR SPANX!

The only 2 "cons" that I can say is that the dress was slightly big around my bosom and slightly tight round my hips. But I am small on top and hippy at the bottom. But overall I thought I looked awesome in the dress.

Definitely ran small happy I ordered a 10 ...usually an 8 or a 6... Only negative was the white slip part under dress hung lower than scalloped lace hem... Drove me crazy!!! Otherwise beautiful dress tons of compliments!!! Highly recommend! Just don't forget to size up!

Dress runs really small. I normally wear a 4 or 6. However, based on other reviews of the dress I ordered the 6 and the 8 as the backup. I'm so glad I did! The 6 was way to snug. The 8 fit perfectly throughout the body but was a little big in the shoulder area but not enough to be an issue. Overall I really loved the dress!

It is a beautiful dress to rent, love the detailing. Nice to have RTR to actually make a designer dress available as I would never buy this dress. Now for sizing. I am in between sizes 8/10 and usually anything that is tight on the hips I have to size up but with this dress I got the 10 ( not even close to zipping) and am not even sure the 12 would work!!! Even if 12 fit hips, the top would probably be to big then. Great for long lean and slightly curvy, not so much for wide hips.

I have rented BM many times before and had never had any issues. ...UNTIL NOW :( I'm usually a size 4 but the size 4 was too tight on my hips, had to go with the back up size 6, the size 6 was so so on the hips, tighter than I'm used to but ok... but the top was hu·mon·gous !!!... I used all the fashion tape I could. besides my armpits were irritated by the fabric...I felt super conscious all night. I would not recommend this dress for a pear shaped body

This dress was sent to me when my back up size wasn't available to ship. It didn't fit, but I wasn't too upset since I wouldn't have considered this as appropriate dress for the occasion (black tie optional wedding guest).

A really pretty dress, I ordered it a size smaller and it did not fit.

I all caps loved this dress. Alas, it didn't love me back. It fit beautifully and was very flattering to my figure but my pale November skin did this dress no favors and vice versa. If you have a darker/warm skin tone this dress is fabulous. If you, like me, have pale skin with cool undertones you will look sickly in this otherwise gorgeous dress.

Based on the reviews I ordered both a 6 and an 8. The 8 fit nicely everywhere except the neck.The big challenge for me was the steep angle of the lace around the neck and how much it cut in. The relatively narrow opening combined with the stiffness of the lace made it so I couldn't wear the dress. I last about 3 minutes in it before I changed to a back up alternative.

I had to go with my backup dress. It was really poor fitting. I'm not really sure what the problem was but it was awful. Thankfully I had a gorgeous backup!!

I rented this dress as a rehersal dinner option but it was too big. Still pretty. More formal than it looks in the pic IMO

Def needed help zipping the back but I am a little hippy so I think that is why, if my body was more straight I think it would have been better
