I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS DRESS! I wanted to keep it so badly I called to ask if I could purchase and keep it but unfortunately they told me no... They did let me keep it a few extra days though so I could wear it to another event. Thanks RTR!!! It fit great, no need for spanx. I wore a strapless bra, maybe could have gone without but I have a slight phobia about going bra-less. I wore flats since I recently had knee surgery and had to tape up the hem like 4 inches - It's VERY long. Probably would have needed tape in the front at least even with heels. I highly recommend this though, I'll be keeping an eye out for it on the next clearance sale!

The skirt is navy, fyi. The straps aren't very supportive so I'd get it a little snug for the support. I loved this dress so much

I absolutely LOVED this dress! It fit perfectly and was super flattering on my body. I loved that I didn't have to wear a bra, but was still comfortable the entire night. It was very easy to dance in, even with a broken kneecap, and it definitely stuck out among the rest of the prom dresses. The only issue was the length for me, but that was an easy temporary adjustment and I wore 4 inch wedges to compensate for my being miniature. I'd definitely rent it again and HIGHLY recommend!

This dress fit great up top and the adjustable straps made it that much better! I'm just shy of 5'11 and this dress was super long!! I wore 3in heels and it still touched the floor! Loved it!

I was 9 months when wearing this rental. I normally wear a 6, but went up a size to account for larger bust and belly. Good support and structure in chest, flowy below bust line. Got many compliments and felt beautiful.

The straps are adjustable for any bust size and very comfortable. The fabric was easy and flowy - highly recommend!

The zipper is of really poor quality. The adjustable straps in the back are great for my athletic/muscular shoulders and back!

I rented this dress for a wedding 2 weeks ago. I ended up wearing the other dress I had rented, but re-rented this for my gender reveal party last weekend. I am 14-weeks pregnant, and I have a tiny little bump. This dress is beautiful. I love the detail on the chest. I felt great in it and wish I owned it, pregnant or not!

I rented this dress for an October wedding in a beach town (but not necessarily on the beach). The fabric is great (color and lightness) and ordering the petite length was the smartest decision - I'm 5ft flat, and even the petite length was kind of long. I had to pick it up to walk or dance. With 2 inch platforms it wasn't horrible, but would probably have been better with higher heels. I ordered the 8R as my second size, and it was like 6 inches longer it seemed, there was no WAY I could have worn it. Normally I wear an 8 so I think this dress runs a little large. Also I am a 34 DD and the top was not too tight but snug enough that I didn't have to wear a bra (a little smooshing action but not bad). I ALWAYS have to wear a bra so this was great, the band around the top portion gives good support. Overall, a great dress!

I wore this dress to a fraternity formal and felt so comfortable in it the whole night. It was a little long but it was fine with 4 inch heels. I got compliments on it and it felt really well! I paired it with a Kate Spade necklace that I also rented!

Absolutely LOVED this dress. Considering actually buying on. It fit perfectly and I got so many compliments on it. Wore it with a cute pair of cowboy boots, perfect for a Colorado wedding.

I ordered the 4R and 6P. I liked the fit of the 4 better, but it was waaaaay too long. The 6P was still very long. I wore the absolute largest heels I have in my arsenal (at least 5" platforms) and I still had to be careful when I walked. The adjustable straps made the dress fit perfectly and a bra was not needed...bonus!!! This was my first RTR experience and I could not be happier! Great dress!

I usually wear a size 4 in regular clothes, but the dress is only fitted on the top, the 2P fit like a glove. was super comfortable and not too long in 3 inch heels. (I think the 2R would have been way too long for me).

I am 5'7" and felt the 6R was perfect. The length touched the floor and hid my feet with flats on. I actually wore flip flops because I knew I would be dancing and no one could see my footwear. With my 3-4" heels the regular length looked silly as it was above the floor and took away from the overall look, if you are going with heels choose the long. I did not wear a bra and the adjustable straps felt very supportive. The revealing cleavage made the dress feel more formal which I liked. I felt like a nice pop of color in a sea of black dresses. Pick a bold necklace to pair.

This was great for a casual party. The fabric is really nice. The top is bright and thick so you don't have to wear a bra! Very flattering.

I didn't actually wear this dress. This was my backup dress. There was nothing wrong with this dress, I loved it, but I went with my other option for my occasion. This dress is long so being 5'10" I still would need heels with the long size. I normally wear a 4 but the 2L fit just right.

This dress was fantastic for a wedding, wore on a very hot summer day and really was not too hot!. The material is very high quality. The dark blue bottom has a light sheer layer that flows nicely when walking, and also has a soft liner beneath that is the same length which is really nice. The top half is very fitted/corset like but comfortable, could be worn with or without bra there is plenty of support. I will say that I am 5'8'' and debated getting the long and am very happy I went with regular as I wore 2" heels and the dress still grazed the floor. Overall it was beautiful, comfortable, and really classy looking! Love!

This dress was so pretty. Wore it to an outside wedding. Fit true to size. Was long but that was to be expected. Straps were adjustable which made it even more perfect! I love the rent the runway!

This dress was added to my order at the last minute when a size in another dress I had ordered was unavailable. The other dress ended up fitting in the size that was available, so I wore that to my friend's wedding as planned. However, I loved this dress and it fit perfectly, so I wore it to my anniversary dinner with my husband the following evening and it worked out beautifully. The dress was a little dressier in person than it appears in the picture, so it was a little too fancy for my dinner date, but I didn't want it to go to waste and I'm glad I wore it. The top is a beautiful color and fairly simple. The bottom had nice movement and the dress overall was very comfortable to wear. It was a nice bonus that the straps were adjustable. I got the regular length and needed to wear very low wedges so the dress wouldn't drag. The only negative that I would mention is that the top squished my chest down a bit. Not in an uncomfortable way, it just made me appear flatter than I usually look. Overall, I loved it!

Best for women with smaller bust. Empire waist allows for easy wear. Worn with 5" heels, the long on me was exactly the right height (I'm 5'7" without shoes).

I ordered the 2P after I read the other reviews of the dress being long. I'm glad I did! I would normally wear a 4, but the 4 I ordered was just too long, even with heels. I wore the 2P with flats and no bra, which NEVER happens but there was enough padding and support that I didn't need one! The adjustable straps were key to the right fit. The dress was so comfortable and flattering and elegant. I danced the night away and enjoyed every moment in my gown. Thanks RTR!

I am 5'1" and just had my 4th baby a few months ago. This fit well (a bit long but I'm pretty short) and was flattering and comfortable. The colors are beautiful in person. A very classy dress. I wore it for a family photo shoot but it would be great for a summer wedding or party.

The for was great. A little long, I am almost 5'5 and I ordered the 6R, will probably order the short length if I order again.

I ordered a size 2R & 4R after reading reviews (I wore the 2R). Best advice I could give to other ladies looking to RTR is to read the reviews ! It helped me when deciding which size to get. And I also did a search on RTR for other ladies about the same size/measurements as me. Very helpful. Anyways, about the dress. I'm 5'5 and the dress was long but I was wearing 4" inch heels so it ended up being the perfect length for me (see in pic it just hits the floor). I wasn't tripping over the dress at all. One thing I loved about this dress is that I didn't need a bra (32C), thank the heavens! I'm not a fan at pulling up my dress all night and I didn't need to mess with this dress at all. Just made the straps tighter and I was good for the entire night. I was able to eat and not be worried about feeling bloated. The dress is so comfy!!! I received a million compliments and of-course told everyone it was a RTR dress. I think RTR is fabulous! Great idea! I will continue to use RTR for all special events. I totally recommend this dress! Comfy yet beautiful! One more thing, I tend to look better in long flowy dresses, tight at the top. So that's what I look for on RTR. Pretty much is a guarantee that I will like the dress. I try and stay away from styles I'm not familiar with.

This dress worked perfectly for a spring wedding in Minnesota. The dress hid any problem areas yet was still flattering. I'm 5 ft 3 1/2 in. and 138 pounds. The length of the 6P was perfect with flats. It just grazed the ground. It's easy to dress up with jewelry. I highly recommend!

I got this dress in 4L and 4R (I was worried about length and they sent me a 4L complimentary even though I didn't get a free backup). The 4R was fine but didn't touch the ground the way I like maxis to do. The 4L, as you can see, pooled on the ground. I had no shoes on, and I hadn't touched the straps so I think this would be fine for me with sandals or a small heel. For some reason I couldn't get the dress zipped up all the way, but I snapped a quick pic and sent it back immediately as unfortunately my plans were cancelled. I would absolutely rent this dress again.

This dress definitely runs long, but with heels I was fine. The bodice fit me perfectly and I did not need to wear a bra (BONUS!) I loved the colors of this dress and it is even more vibrant in person!

very long. i am 5'7" and 140lbs and the regular size was pretty long. if you are this height go with the regular. if you are taller, go with the long. it was soooo comfortable and simple!! i loved it so much - i wish j could keep it!

pros: a simple, easy and gorgeous style. high quality fabric: quilted satin bodice and navy chiffon with cotton underlay. adjustable criss cross straps in the back. not too heavy or hot to wear. flattering for those who want to minimize their mid-section and lower body. emphasizes waist and bust. eye-catching and modern colors. great for a beach or summer wedding or event! cons: side zipper is TRICKY and difficult. i rented both a size 4 and 6 p. both had this issue. LONG! even though i wore the petite size, i needed to quick hem the dress. THANK GOODNESS FOR FASHION TAPE!

My dress fit perfectly. I am 5'9", wore 4 inch heels with this dress and it still brushed the floor. If you are not planning on wearing heels I would suggest going for the regular length. I wore a strapless bra but could have easily done without it. Received lots of compliments!

I usually order the "long" option in dresses but didn't need to in this one. I'm still nursing and have a 36DD chest size right now so I went up from my usual 8L to a 10R...fit perfectly! I wish I could but this dress. It's great for a date night or for a wedding. Very versatile. Flattering in all the right places, especially with recently having a baby. Definitely would recommend renting this dress.

This dress is perfection. I reluctantly (based on previous reviews) ordered the regular length (usually always get long) and it was perfect. It just hit the floor, but I only wore a 2" heel. If you like to wear a taller heel and you're taller than 5'8", I would get the long. Fits VERY true to size, so I would even feel comfortable saying get your typical size in the regular and long so you have length options. So comfortable and not heavy at all.

I wore this to celebrate my birthday. So comfortable, great fit and I love the colors. If this were available for purchase, I wouldn't hesitate. I'm thinking of renting it again in the future.

The dress was a bit long (I'm 5'5'') and I had to wear heels, but overall it fit true to size and was extremely comfortable. You definitely don't need to wear a bra with it either so that's even better!

I wore this to my sisters college graduation. It was a little fancier than I was expecting, but it still came off as casual. I got a lot of compliments on it! It does run a little bit long though, I was wearing 4-inch wedges and it was still touching the ground. (I also tried the next size up in a petite and it didn't really make much of a difference length wise)

This was my back up dress for a wedding I was attending in California. It was absolutely gorgeous and really accentuated my 4 1/2 month figure well. You could barely tell I was pregnant in this dress and it was so comfortable. It was rather cold at the wedding and luckily the lining and overlay covered my legs well. Unfortunately the petite was not available in my size so I had to get the regular length and even with 3.5" heels it was probably about 2" too long. I just picked the dress up if I had to go up a set of stairs but it wasn't too bad. Overall I loved it and wished I owned it, I received compliments all night and my husband told me over and over how great I looked in the dress! Definitely a must rent - it was my favorite rental so far :)
