The dress was a great fit! Typically designer dresses run small so I chose one size larger and it was perfect. I wore 3 inch heels and it was the perfect length. Overall I had a great experience with my first RTR dress. Good condition, also easy tracking and shipping.

I ordered this dress last minute due to a rental that hugged me in all the wrong places. RTR shipped this overnight and just in time for the gala. Loved the color - brighter than how it is portrayed on the model. Very long, I ordered the regular length and I am 5'6" and I wore 4 inch heels...breezy due to the open back - I actually went braless (big deal considering I'm busty)...overall I loved the dress and felt glamorous!

Great fit, but maybe just a tad long (1-2 inches), nothing a pair of heels won't help. I did order a 4R thinking that would be my size, but the 2R actually was the one that fit. So order your (assumed) size and for the back up, order a size smaller. Everything else was absolutely perfect!!

This was a beautiful dress! Even being a petite it was extremely long, my 5 inch heels weren't visible but they were enough to keep the dress from dragging on the floor. It was a little more fitted on the hips & thighs than I expected it would be, but the subtle rouging helped deflect my rather wide thighs. I would definitely order this dress again.

The original dress I ordered was too long and skin tight. Not exactly the look I was going for for such a formal charity event. I called RTR and within 3 minutes, I had two different dresses being shipped to me. It was such a wonderful experience and made me a customer for life. The two new dresses arrived by 12 the next day. It was a size 4, where I thought it would be way too small... It fit beautifully. I received so many compliments and felt beautiful. Thank you RTR for a wonderful experience. You could definitely teach other companies a few things.

I rented a 10l but would go with regular next time as I am almost 5'7 and wore 3inch heels and the dress was too long. Other than that, it was perfect. I am a 34G so was a little worried about the chest fitting but it worked out.

This dress fit amazing, true to size. The 6L was perfect for me, I wore 3" heels and the dress still skimmed the ground. Very comfortable and got compliments all night on it! The back shows a glimpse of skin and people kept telling me how classy and elegant I looked!

I am currently in between sizes. I probably could have worn the 8L but the 10L was fine. It was a little loose up top, but I was the only one who noticed it. I am 5'9 and ended up wearing 4 inch heals with a platform and ended up being the perfect link.

I actually did not order this dress originally. It was sent to me as a replacement for a dress that I ordered but had been damaged. I fell in love with it the minute I put it on! It was super comfortable and super easy to dance in. I definitely recommended wearing a backless/strapless bra because your back is really exposed. I'm 5'8" and usually a 4 so I thought I would need a 4 long but i fit in a 2 regular with ease. Totally recommended this dress to anyone!

This dress can be described as regal and elegant. It fit fabulously and the detail in the back had a ethereal touch to it. The color is amazing and it is beautifully crafted!

The dress fit really well. It was my 2nd choice when they didn't have the 2nd size in the original dress I ordered, but I'm so glad I ordered it. The only con I would really give it is that it made me look a little more busty than I am because of the cut.

Such a comfortable dress! I choose to not wear a bra, dress lined so no problems there. I am 5'6" and wore 4 inch heels. Choose the Regular Length. The dress fell perfect, long enough, but no tripping. I am a little short waisted, so the waist on this dress isn't the best style for me, but I loved the halter and that made up for it. Neck fit well. The closeup picture is more accurate of color of dress. This dress was a winner, Elegant yet easy to wear.

If you are in between sizes like me, I would opt down a size for this one. I ordered it in 4R and 6R and wore the 4. I only wore 3 inch heels, I would've probably needed a long if they were any higher.

The original dress I picked was damaged by previous renter so they upgraded me and sent me 3 dresses! AMAZING! This dress fit me perfectly. It hugged at the waist precisely how it should and flowed over my hips and legs just right. I wore about 4 inch heels and I really wouldn't have been able to walk in the dress without shoes that high. The dress is definitely long and the chiffon material falls farther than the underlining. I had no real problems with the length though because I had shoes that went well with the make and length of the dress. I will definitely rent from this website again. It was so worth it!

This dress was beautiful and made me feel like a princess. I am pretty tall (5'8") and ordered 6L and 8L and both were very long. I wore small heels but the dress was still slightly long. The 6 fit perfectly aside from length but I loved the dress. So many compliments! I would just recommend that unless you're 5'10" and up, you probably won't need the long fit!

Fits true to size and is very flattering. I'm curvy and it did a great job of hiding my least favorite parts of my body. The color was awesome too.

This was my first RTR experience. I wore this dress to a black-tie fundraiser, and it was perfect. Was looking for something that was elegant and understated. Am not in ideal shape at the moment and didn't want anything too clingy. LOVED the way this looked. I'm 5' 5 and a half" barefoot, and the 6R length was perfect with 3.5-inch heels. Full disclosure: Back dips down too low to wear a traditional strapless bra. I wound up not wearing anything. Material provided full coverage. Fit wise: I'm thick-waisted and wide through the hips, and this was a bit snug in the waist, but Spanx remedied that. ... This was the seventh year I've attended this annual fundraiser, but it was the first time my husband was still commenting about how gorgeous he thought I looked a week later. Am super satisfied with the dress and the whole RTR experience.

I'm usually between a 4 and 6 for most things but I found this dress ran a little large. The 4 fit me perfectly although, for my height, it was a little too long. It was also flattering in all the right places!

Overall fit was great! waist was perfect size, not super tight in the bust. I am 5'10'' and wore a long, and it was just the correct length with 2 inch wedges. But if you are going to be wearing flats or no shoes at all... I would consider the regular length. Make sure you plan for the correct bra, as it is a backless dress. I got lots of compliments!

It fit great, but was quite long on me, even with the highest heels I could find (I'm 5'1"). Otherwise, it was comfortable, fit well, and great for a spring formal event. This was a wonderful first Rent the Runway experience!

I wore this dress to an American Cancer Society, black tie Gala for my husband's job. The dress was absolutely beautiful and fit perfectly. I was given the incredible honor of officiating a friend's wedding. So while the event was not black tie, I felt I needed something dressier as the officiant, but also not over the top (its about the bride and groom after all!). This dress was PERFECT. It's bright color stands out but its simple design prevents it from being overly gaudy or showy. Many reviewers said that the dress was incredibly long so I ordered the 4p and the 6r (i'm normally a 4r but they didn't have it). I cannot wear 3" heels, esp not if i'm processing down an aisle w/ the wedding party. Turns out I think other reviewers have exaggerated a bit. The dress is long, yes, but as you can see my feet in this pic, I'm only wearing 1.5" heels. It is not so long that you'll be sweeping the floor with it. If yo'ure at least 5'3" I think you can get away with shoes less than 3". I ended up going with the 4P and frankly I could have been barefoot and it would not have swept the floor. The zipper was a pain in the a$$ and you'll need somebody to help you jimmy it, but once its on, its fine, and its very comfortable. The picture here doesn't have great exposure so I apologize but it gives a full length picture. The skirt felt very comfortable and flowy so I could dance all night. The top is ideal if you are NOT large busted (I'm a B cup) because I think large busted girls would find it very tight. It's somewhat ruched on top so it does help create some curves, but the power of this is not in that it makes you shapely, its in that it makes you look elegant and regal while still being really fun. I paired it with the Alexis Bittar earrings that are features on the model and a simple gold cuff--no other jewelry. I received compliments all night and cannot wait to see the professional shots!

Loved the dress! Tape is REQUIRED!!! I wore a three inch heel with a slight platform in the front so I didn't trip over the gown. Loved the cut and the color, so vibrant!

Neck collar was a little tight and waist was a little loose. I am about 5'6", so the 0L was a little long. Tons of compliments all night. Dressed it up with Grecian style jewelry and hair. All Gold accessories.

The fit was overall great. I'm a med on top large bottom and the 8 fit perfect. I got the long and it was really long for me. I'm about 5-8 and wore 2 inch heels. Prob should have ordered the regular. The color was very pretty. The material that hangs in the back I wasn't a huge fan of. I had someone tie 2 loose knots and it looked really nice. Overall I liked. This was a last minute pick because the dress I wanted wasn't in good condition and RTR couldn't send it.

True to size; a little long; color looks different in pictures depending on lighting;

I looked at the reviews, info and consulted the inline stylist before deciding on what size to order. Based on the stylist recommendation, comments and my own measuring (I measured from my shoulder to the floor and compared that to the dress details) I ordered the dress in L. I also ordered hem tape so I could adjust it if it was too long. The dress had a sheer outer layer over a lining. The lining was the perfect length with heels. The dress (sheer part) was about 5 inches too long. I could not use the tape I bought because the dress was sheer. I ordered a 10 for my backup size. That was a waste as well, because while the 8 fit, it was a little loose. I think a 6 in R length would've done the trick. The dress was in beautiful condition. So, it went back into the bag and I sent it right back for a credit.

This was a really pretty dress, however; ITS WAS SOO LONG! I do not recommend this dress for women under 5'5" with heels on. I was wearing 3 inch heels and it still didn't cut it. I ended up lifting the entire chiffon up and tied it around my hand in order to dance. The satin layer under the top chiffon was my height though so that was a plus. Also my boobs are a little larger that most people and those adhesive bras wouldn't work, so I used a under-wire bra that had adhesive things on the sides from target. The cut out on the side was deep so we had to pin in order to keep the bra from showing. I also attached a broach on it to make it look pretty. Also do not put your hair in a braid; it should probably be up to show the back of the dress which was the best part. Overall I really liked this dress. The fit was nice and I will be renting from here again. Although next time I will wear a petite dress.

I am 5'4 115lbs and petite frame. Rented both 0R and 2R. 0R fit perfect on body. You will need help getting the neck part attached. Comfortable overall, but very long. The under part of the dress worked with 4 inch heels, but outer sheer fabric was much longer and made it a little hard to walk. I was hosting a red carpet for fortunately I did not have to move too much. Got tons of compliments! Beautiful dress! Plum purple is very pretty.

I needed the the 4R but the hook and eye on the collar was missing so I wore the 6R. The length was perfect with 4 inch heels. The back is a little low so I had to be careful my strapless bra was not showing. I enjoyed wearing the dress!
