I really enjoyed wearing this skirt! I rented it to wear to work because I wanted to try the more modern version of a pencil skirt. This one was easy to pair with a thin long sleeved blouse and behaved just as it should have. It's very form fitting as the style is meant to be so you'll want to stick with a thinner blouse that does not require a camisole so you can avoid lumps and underwear lines showing through. That being said, the fabric is thick enough to accommodate a thin blouse without showing lines and full body shape wear will help flatter your curves even better. The high waist really does help project that hour glass look! By the way, this skirt is a midnight navy as opposed to black.

This skirt blew my expectations away. The material is suck good material. It's stretchy, thick, and flattering. Loved it. And it was not too short!

It is a tight fit that makes it hard to walk. But the fabric is stretchy and forgiving. The navy is very dark, almost black.

Great skirt, fit well but it appears that the fabric was pulling on the sides. Dress is meant to be fitted which makes it difficult to take long steps so don't try to run. All in all cute skirt comes pass knee making it appropriate for work. #darkblue #skirt #work #interview @locslady

I like Bailey stuff but this had less give than I'm used to with them- more like a rubber band than a soft stretch. The length made it hard to walk. Fit the way it should and sexy, but not for a day filled with purpose.

This skirt is so inappropriately sexy af for work. I wore it anyways with my abs sucked in the whole time. It's even tighter at the knees than it is at the waist - I almost thought about wearing it upside down. Your walk will be more of a short strided strut in this number.

The fit on this skirt is great-stretchy but it also holds you in. The navy is a very dark navy, so it doesn't really work with black. I didn't end up wearing this one as I didn't have anything to go with it. You'd think there would be plenty of options for a classic navy skirt, but I don't have many tops that I can tuck in without creating bulk. Would rent again if I have a top to go with it.

Quality material! Fitted in form but still appropriate for work.

the skirt is great and the material is thick which covers all the body imperfections, but if you are under 5.3" the skirt comes down to five inches from your ankles.

I wore this skirt in size small at 4 months pregnant. It was very tight, but had amazing stretch. I would definitely purchase this if I wasn't pregnant. I recommend sizing up if you're purchasing this for maternity wear.

Made me feel like a sausage casing and unable to walk for work

Pros: fits like you'd expect. The material is thick and quality and the higher waisted fit on the smallest part of your natural waist is flattering. Received a ton of compliments and would be a great Friday work into happy hour skirt. Cons: no slit so small steps only though it stretched throughout the day. It also is tight tight tight so it shows every bump. I paired it with a loose blouse tucked in and didn't love the folds and bumps it created.

Definitely restricting when walking. The material was stretchy and felt like quality, however there was some wear and white light stains and ultimately decided not to wear and return.

Beautiful material, and sleek. But not work appropriate.

This was the worst designed garment I have ever seen. It was like wearing a giant rubber band. There was no slit to allow you to move your legs to walk. Forget about walking up steps.

The fit was nice but I literally could not move my legs to walk normally. I tried it on and shipped it back that day. Liked the design but not a comfortable piece.
