I wore this dress to a great gatsby themed New Year's Eve party and it was perfect to dress up for the occasion. All I needed to do was add accessories and I was good to go! It was very comfortable and true to size. I wish I could of kept this dress because it is easy to dress up or down.

This is true to size, but fitted FYI! I wear a 10/12 and the Large was perfect. Wore spanx to smooth. It's a double layer fabric (no shine in it) that is smoothing and comfortable. The hem and the sleeves are unfinished but it's done well and makes it look a little bit edgy. Love this rental!

The fabric is very thin and a cottony material and the hemlines are a bit ragged, but it wasn't noticeable unless you looked closely. It was very comfortable and fun to dance in and I really enjoyed wearing it. I also got a lot of compliments on it. Would rent again.

Easy, throw on lbd for , IMO, work , day, date . The material is thin and does not hold you in and will show unseemly panty lines . I wore dance tights and that gave me a smooth look . Very figure showing . Yep I bought this .

This dress is very fitted, but it also camouflages imperfections. It looked just as cute with my heels as it did with the flat sandals I wore after the event. Definitely recommend!

I wore this dress to my daughters dance recital so I needed something comfortable and not over the top. This dress has some stretch to it, which helped camouflage my tummy. The cut out shoulders were my favorite part of the dress. I paired this dress with the Kenneth Jay Lane, Gold Shadow Bib Necklace and it definitely took this dress to another level!! The necklace was gorgeous. Rent the Runway always comes through! I would wear this dress again, sad I couldn't keep it.

I ordered a M and L. I typically wear size 10 in dresses and M in shirts. The L was a little more comfortable than the M, but I didn't feel like there was a big difference in size. If anything, I felt it ran small. Many compliments on this dress. I would love to buy it and make it my new favorite LBD.

Rented this for NYE. It's a great comfortable little black dress. It is a thin, tshirt type material as other reviews said. It arrived and looking at it in the bag made me nervous. The material seemed so casual and the hems are unfinished, but once on it's great. It has a lining so its not too thin. It is so comfortable to have on. Due to the stretch you're able to size down. I did wear a regular black bra with it, but at times the straps would peak out in the back, so strapless may be a better option.

I want to actually keep this one. It's perfect fit,soft and super cute.

Fit was perfect! I normally wear an 8 and this fit perfectly. Arms were not tight at all. Very comfortable to dance in. Wish I could own it. No need for anything special underneath either.

I wore this dress to a cocktail attire wedding in October. The dress is jersey and so it fit my shape perfectly. I wore Spanx just to smooth myself out, but I probably didn't need to. I love the "cold shoulder" trend because it hides my unflattering upper arm. I felt sexy and confident. The length dressed up the outfit.

I'm between a 4 and a 6. I originally got the small and looked so gross in it that I didn't want to leave my house for a week. Then I got the medium, just to give it a shot, and loved it so much I bought it. So flattering and versatile and comfortable. Give it a try, but maybe try an alternate size if it doesn't work at first.

This dress was perfect for the event. Modest due to the length and modern due to the cutout shoulders. It is a body-con, but the black helps hide your flaws. My fiancée wanted me to keep it, he loved it so much. Will probably purchase.

I wore this dress Friday night out- first to an early dinner with a friend and then out to bars. total hit, I felt sexy all night. hugged my curves and the little shoulder showing made me feel trendy. one downside was the material made me SWEAT. granted it was at least 105° all night and day, something about it made me even hotter. it also holds smell so I certainly stank and nights end. regardless, a great sexy yet not too sexy night on the town but not that crazy of a night dress. I wore it with tie up wedges and minimal gold arm jewelry.

This dress was a perfect fit. I'd say I'm normally a Medium but the Small fit like a glove for a formed fit. Wore this the second night of my Bachelorette Party in Vegas and got some fabulous photos. Very flattering dress. The bottom is unfinished as many of the reviews state. But I still liked it.

I ordered the medium and large as the backup. The medium never came and a second dress was selected by RTR as a backup. I was only informed of the switch after they shipped. I wish I knew beforehand. I decided to wear the large. Since I'm busty the large fit my top well. The dress has a lot of stretch and is really comfortable. I wore spanx to make it look smooth. I highly recommend this dress.

Very light fabric for a 100 degree day. The wedding was inside but this dress made getting to and from the venue more tolerable. Easy to wear and flattering. Loved the shoulder cut outs to make it a little different.

Perfect dress!!! edgy, comfortable, and light weight perfect for the soldier field concert to see beyonce. I paired this look w a large polished crystal ring and solar flare clip on earrings. I definitely recommend this for a outdoor event where it gets hot.

I rented this for a night out. I felt sexy in it. I could've worn the xs but I opted for the small since we were going out to dinner and I wanted some extra room. It's double lined so it feels well made and kinda sucks you in. It was obviously a tad long for my petite frame (4'11") and I was going to use fashion tape to hem but I liked how the edge of it was raw. I feel like in my 4.5" inch heels, I made it work. This is a great dress and I will definitely be renting this one again.

I felt like a million bucks in this dress! I am always looking for interesting dresses with sleeves because I like to keep my upper arms covered. The fabric is soft jersey that had just enough stretch and cling to make curves look amazing. I had planned to wear shapewear but found I didn't need to with this dress. It hit me right at the knee and I'm 5'5". I felt very sexy and still classy on my wedding anniversary dinner at a fancy steakhouse.

Very comfortable thin stretchy double layer fabric. I felt great in it and I liked that it covered my upper arms. I loved the wide neckline too. This dress hugged my curves perfectly and was not too short. It also doesn't wrinkle! The only thing that I didn't like about it was in photos the fabric looked kind of shiny. Most underwear showed lines through the fabric so I wore Commando brand in black and looked flawless. If you like to wear spanx, that would probably work too. Awesome dress!

The small fit like a glove. The shoulder detail is a nice touch and the length is conservative. My husband liked this dress a lot (it hugs the curves)! However, the fabric isn't as a luxe as I expected, it fits more like a stretchy cotton dress. It definitely required spanx underneath. Also the bottom hem and arm hems were falling apart, which was too bad. I ended up tucking them under.

As most have mentioned the hem is a bit frayed, which is why i gave only 4 stars. The fit is very body-con but the thin, overlay fabric allows for a bit of scrunching which i liked. I was able to wear a regular bra which added to comfort. I received many compliments.
