Picture under low light, but this dress is fun and comfortable and fit very well. I'm an athletic build and this dress was flattering and stylish.

I dressed this down and found it so cozy. The neck hole is small, so I'm glad I got a large. It also made the black part less snug and more comfy. Loved it and wore several times!

I rented this dress for work during a cold front. I was surprised by how small the head opening was at first, but the dress itself is super cute. The first time I wore it I wore a long cardigan over it and knee high boots. The second time I went for moto boots and statement earrings. Both looks were equally successful. I have a larger butt and the side slits on the sweater accommodated that well. The sweater is cut in a way to disguise the mid section and eliminate the need for shape wear.

The sweater tunic is a little longer. Its not a summer dress - heavy fabric. A great dress for spring and fall!

Super easy fit, flattering for all types of bodies and can be worn day to night. I wore this for a speaking event and it was a great dress! Loved it and would totally rent again!

Really liked this swingy, layered take on a sweater dress. Of note: there is a full dress underneath with a full sweater top sewed on top, making this heavier and warmer than I expected. Both fabrics are thick and dense. I wore it on a transitional San Francisco summer day (read: fog, sun, wind, anywhere in the 60's) and it was perfect - but thank goodness for being sleeveless or it could have been a sweat box! Under dress is very stretchy and I didn't find it as fitted as expected, however with a larger chest I wouldn't size down or there would be too much pull up top. If you are smaller up top and want a more form fitting look you could possibly size down. The neutral palette pulls off edgy and / or statement accessories easily. Very comfy - definitely a hit!

This dress was perfect to have in my closet as a go to. I wish I could have kept it. Can be dressed up or down. Brunch, Dinner, Parties, or even just a day running errands and you want to look fashionable. Heels, booties or flats. You can wear it anyway you like. It ran true to size for me. The under garment wasn't too tight. It was not body con, but still snug and sleek. Comfortable to wear any where. Love!!

I couldn't decide if I liked this dress or not. As others have described, it's a fitted black dress underneath (not too tight) with a heavy sweater on top. Because of the black dress bottom layer, it feels like it should be worn to a fancier event. However, the sweater is very casual and oversized. In some angles it seemed flattering and in others it looked very boxy and added weight.

I didn't know what to really expect with this - I think the black portion underneath gave the dress a great shape. I am petite and didn't feel like it was shapeless. Tons of compliments and made me feel trendy and confident! Considering buying it...

I loved this dress. It was stylish, cute, and very flattering. I received lots of compliments and was tempted to buy it. There was a slight smell under the armpits (the wool is quite thick and so I think it's retained the smell after numerous rentals); but it wasn't too strong. I'm just very sensitive to it!

Fit pretty true to size. Couldn't wear a blazer with it because of the way the grey sweater draped over the black dress underneath, but added a black shrug sweater.

I wore this dress to work today and received many compliments on it! I love that it looks like you're wearing two different pieces, but it's actually one. The fact that it's one piece made it really easy for me to get ready in the morning when every moment really counts. It's fashionable and professional, great if you want to go from work to dinner or happy hour. Highly recommend.

It doesn't get much better than this dress for a work outfit that can transition to a casual night out! I thought this might feel a tad casual for work (I work at a business casual law firm), so I first wore this on our "Jeans Day" Friday with a pair of leggings and boots. After being told I looked "too nice!" for a jeans day, I decided I could stretch this into a regular workday if I added black tights and pumps. It looked fantastic and I felt SO comfortable. I had an event that night after work, so I switched to a cute bootie. This is SUCH a versatile piece. I was thrilled.

I got LOTS of compliments, and it was comfortable. The dress and tunic were the same length on me, so the model picture is a bit misleading. It didn't matter though, and I actually preferred that the dress was the same length as the sweater. I will definitely rent this again.

I loved that this was essentially a LBD with a big comfy sweater over it! I got a lot of compliments- it was a really different piece! The neck hole is a bit tight to pull over your head, but I really liked wearing this.

I love this piece (I'm wearing it right now). It fits perfectly and is great for hiding a little belly. It's super comfy and can be dressed up or down.

I really liked this dress! It wore very well too work. Needed to wear a sweater over it, which took away from the sides :-( If renting again I would look to get a long-sleeve body-suit for underneath. The down side to that is the dress is warm and it would add another layer, however, that would definitely solve the problem.

Wire this to work and then out for a night. I don't want to return it.

I loved this dress. The material is quite heavy and falls nicely, and the stretchy liner dress made it incredibly comfortable for a long day in the office and into an evening event. Could be dressed up or down with shoe choice. Probably not best for big busts.

Looks great even on a curvier figure. It's a little warm for an extremely hot day even though it's sleeveless as the sweater is heavy. Looks good for a modern professional environment and could go day to night.

This lovely dress did not fall exactly as pictured. The two layers both hit about two inches above the knee. Although this unit is sleeveless, the material is quite heavy and suitable for cooler weather. I received compliments from men and women all day :-)

Being a Sweater material this dress gets warm. The black part underneath is the dress and the grey is a front and back flap. It's not sewn shut on the sides. Still looks great and was so comfortable to wear while still looking put together for work or play.
