This dress was the perfect balance between professional and fun / party. The color is a beautiful deep burgundy color. Material has stretch but definitely a body-hugging style.

The other reviews were right about sizing. I'm normally an XS/S and this was definitely a time to size up. That being said, the cut is super flattering! I loved the way it looked on. The fabric is super soft and comfortable. But be aware that it's the type of fabric that rides up when you walk. Standing still it wasn't too short for work but I had to keep pulling it down. Also it's got a raw hemline which is fine except that it was cut kind of jagged (not super noticeable though).

I LOVED this dress. I ordered the M & L and ended up going with the large for a little extra length since I was wearing it for a work party. Dress was very comfortable and warm enough for December but still breathable.

Wore with a 5-month bump and it was so cute! For great and was very comfy. It was pretty short though, and I'm 5'2 so that says a lot. Would definitely rent again though.

Great dress to wear to work. Got many compliments. Tight but not inappropriate. Same for length. The cross fabric in the front makes for a great touch and the deep red color is great for fall.

The fit of this was perfect on me with my hourglass shape. The sleeves were the perfect length, the only thing that would bug me if I hadn't worn tights was the length, but I wore tights with it and also short booties since I live in Michigan and it's pretty cold here in the winter time. Love the elegant feel of the dress and the texture in the front. That was one of my favorite aspects of the dress also the fact that it had long sleeves because I tend to get cold easily.

I love this dress. The ruching on this dress is very flattering to my hourglass body shape! It's a bit short for my height (I am 5'8") and the skirt rides up a little. But since this dress doesn't show any cleavage, I felt okay showing a lot of leg instead. Color is a rich, dark burgundy. Dress fits true to size. I am a size 10 on top and size 8 at the bottom (5'8", 153 lbs, 36C), This dress in size Large/US 8-10 fit perfectly. Very comfortable dress. The dress is made out of 2 thin layers of spandex knit (no lining). Because the fabric is so thin and there is no ruching in the back to hide any flaws, I needed to wear spanx with this dress (which I rarely do). Fabric did not cling to my body, but nicely hugged it. There is no zipper and the boat neckline is not wide enough to step into this dress, so it needs to be pulled over your head (keep that in mind before you put on your makeup and do your hair). Boat neck isn't wide, so no bra straps are showing. The hems at the sleeves and skirt are not turned over. The fabric is simply cut off. The sleeves are long, allowing you to turn over the hem of the sleeves to whatever length is appropriate for your arm length.

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner. I didn’t get any full length photos...whoops! It was cute and comfortable but a little short on me and I’m only 5’ 3”.

The dress has a super flattering front and mid section. It is a little short.. esp in the back if you have a booty. The edges of sleeves and skirt seem a little cheap because they seem like the fabric was just cut there. It was pretty though and I would wear it again if it wasn't so short.

I wore the small size being 5'4 and about 115lbs. My only critique is that it felt like the skirt was riding up a little bit throughout the night and I caught myself needing to pull it down a couple times.

The party was in winter, so I liked how the long sleeves kept me warm, but the fit was very flattering--snug without being too tight. I loved the length, which for me at 5'6" was mid thigh. I paired with leopard print pumps. Lots of compliments!

I wear S, but it was too tight on me. It is a good thing I got M as my back-up size, and it looked perfect on me. It complimented my hourglass figure and my overall complexion. I loved the color, so pretty, and was ideal for fall. It was so pretty and comfortable that I actually was thinking about purchasing it! Highly recommend, you will not regret it!

just right, but be aware, it shorter than I expected

I rented this dress in the black color as well and ended up buying the black! It's the perfect little party dress. It's tight but the cross pattern detail on the front makes it extra flattering on the mid section. Only thing is that the dress was pretty short- I'm only 5' so it worked for me, but may be too short for taller people.

Event though the dress is fairly simple, I received numerous compliments. Super comfortable and stretchy. Hugged nicely but the ruching offers a bit of camouflage if needed.

A great little dress. The texturing is very flattering on the body. It does seem a little short (as other reviewers said) even though I'm petite and usually doesn't have a problem with length. The edges of the fabric are unfinished which wasn't my preference. The fabric is rather thin, so even though it has long sleeves the dress is not exceptionally warm.

Stretchy fabric, probably could have worn a small as well. It does ride up a bit but that's expected with their kind of dress/fabric. Very flattering as it hugs the waist and bust.

This dress fits perfectly. It looks exactly as it does in the picture. The sleeves are long and cover the wrists. The dress is pretty short and stopped at the upper middle portion of my thigh. I would suggest wearing pantyhose or tights with this dress so that you don't feel so exposed. I wore this on a date and when I sat down my dress seemed very short. I wasn't trying to give off that impression so I brought some tights and added them to my look.

I sized up in this dress - it was a bit tight on my arms and a little on the short side. Sizing up made for a much more comfortable evening! The dress is very flattering - the detailing on the front especially. I got many compliments, and the dress would suit a variety of events. I wore it with leggings and heels, but you could style it many different ways.

Runs small, so I sized up to medium for little breathing room, as the material is thin and you can see undergarment lines. A great option for work - beautiful burgundy, with an twist detail at the chest which adds interest to the dress. The length is great for petites although I needed to roll up the sleeves as they were long.

For some this will be too short for work. I wore it with some tights, very cute.
