I loved this work dress. It felt professional, sophisticated and powerful. Flattering, heavy material and great sleeves. Fit me around shoulders and I'm fairly narrow. A little looser around waist and hips but not too much so. Hit just at knee well made dress.

Despite being a tight fit around the chest (I had to think skinny to zip it up)- I loved the fit. Hugs in the right spots, gave a better hip definition. Nice material. Sleeves were not as cumbersome as I thought. My only complaint would be there is no slit in the back, so not a lot of room to move around.

Wore for a memorial service and plan to wear to work before sending back. Really beautiful fit and heavy fabric

Loved this dress, it is elegant but not too much for work. The sleeves did not get in the way and added a bit of elegance. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because my belly didn't cooperate and it was tight as a tick around my mid section while everywhere else it was perfect. I wanted to love love love this dress but alas it wasn't the right fit for my mid section!

I rented this for work. The sleeves were a little over the top and made eating my lunch a bit of a challenge! It's true to size, but the material is quite stiff, so I felt like I couldn't take big steps. Overall it was a fun black dress, but I don't think I'll rent it again.

No slit so can be tricky to walk, especially up or down stairs

This is a nice staple black dress- but runs really small. I wear a 10 in most styles, ordered an 10 and 12 but returned, I would needed a 14 in this. I didn’t wear.

Loved the cut of the dress. Really flattering seams, but it was too tight across my chest to wear The body/waist runs true to size, the chest runs small

I loved this dress even though I needed a bigger size. It runs a little small in the bust area. The sleeves arent very dramatic and the dress is very slimming.

This was a little big on me (generally - not in any specific area), but it still looked nice and regal. I liked this dress a lot, but here are two things to consider: The sleeves were a little annoying at times, and THERE IS NO SLIT in the back of the dress, so this is not a dress you want to wear if you actually want to walk at a NYC-pace and/or faster than a small child.

Fit is tight, but flattering. Sleeves really make the dress. I paired it with a long necklace.

This is a beautiful, elegant dress and I was so disappointed that I couldn't wear it. The sleeves were super tight, as was the fit across the shoulders and chest. It was so tight that I couldn't lift my arms or stretch them in front of me. The fabric had absolutely no give. It's really unfortunate because it fit beautifully aside from the tightness on top. Sizing up would have made the rest of the fit too large - sadly had to return without wearing.

Super cute - it fit but the arms were just a bit too tight for me, maybe size up next time. I really wanted to wear it.

cute style if you are small all over...difficult if you are think with small hips and a larger chest.

I would say to size down once. I go back and forth between a 12 and 14 and could easily have worn a 10 in this dress.
