This was the perfect dress for the occasion. It had some stretch to ensure comfort and was just right for the Gala. I felt glamorous and received compliments throughout the evening. Thank you to RTR for the great options and service!

I love this dress! It was glamorous and perfect for a black tie wedding in Miami. The fit was incredible, but there was plenty of stretch. The bodice was form fitting but not tight. I didn't need to wear a bra. The slit was daring but covered everything even though it was breezy. This was my backup so didn't wear, but I could've worn this for a slightly tighter fit and still looked awesome. The cap sleeves stayed in place the entire time. Note: R length was nearly the same as L for this dress.

I tried many RTR dresses. If I was going to buy something and have it altered, this might not have been the winner, but most of the dresses I tried were too long, and I did not want to spend the evening holding up my skirt or worrying about tripping. This dress fit perfectly, and is really beautiful. The fabric is heavy enough that you don't have to worry about panty lines or bulges. The slit is risque--but not outrageous (though you do need to be careful when you sit!). It did require my first strapless bra in 30 years, but fortunately they have improved! The color is great.

I wear the brand Black Halo a lot so I am familiar with the fit. Normally fits like a glove. I wore a 0 in this dress and it was slightly large everywhere chest, waist, hips and especially length (that's typically for me since I'm only 5 ft) but even with 6 inch heels it was slight long. It still looked good. I received a ton of compliments. Simple and elegant. The neckline is very flattering.

This dress was stunning! It drew numerous compliments. The fit was great. I love the material; it was thick and snug for a winter formal event, yet it could also be worn in warmer weather. The arm straps fit perfectly and did not slide down. The dress offered the right amount of coverage; I did not feel as though the dress was revealing (I was among my work colleagues, so this was a plus!). The color is bold and beautiful. I had great appreciation for the minimal effort I needed to put into accessorizing the dress (hair, makeup, jewelry, etc.) because it spoke for itself. This dress was timeless and classy. I’d rent this dress again without hesitation!

I loved this dress- highly quality thick fabric that had a nice stretch to it. The front slit was a little bit higher than I was anticipating but not an issue with showing my underwear. I normally wear a 12 but with the stretch I was able to go down a size. I did not wear a bra and just placed removable sports bra pads in the chest area and they stayed in place pretty nicely. Also a perk, at 5’10, I often wear flat shoes and I was able to get away with a small heel and still have enough length to the dress. I really enjoyed this rental!

Great fit and look for a black tie event. A bit long for me in flats, needed 3 in heels so it wouldn’t drag. Could have been a tiny bit more snug but fit well overall. Only change I would make is wearing more statement/ dangly earrings

I wore this dress to a Gala and felt like a Rockstar. I was worried about the 4 being too small, but it was JUST right in all the right places! I would 100% buy this dress if I could afford to.

To be honest, this was the dress I was gonna wear as a last resort and ended up being the most comfortable and most flattering! Don’t pass this one up!

I am barely 5’2 and went with the 2R. It was the perfect length but just a tad roomy for me. A 0 may have been a better fit, but the 2 was fine and comfortable. It was perfect for a charity event, a clean, classic look

Wore this to a formal work gala in NYC, I ordered size 0R with back up size 2R based on other reviews and the 2R was perfect for me with 3.5 inch heels (could have even worn 3 inch). Fabric was wrinkle resistant, (was packed in a carry-on and only needed minimal steaming) thick, and somewhat forgiving given I had a bit of tummy bloat. Dress was work appropriate and very comfortable.

If you are wearing spanx just know that the slit can come up high so you will need to wear the brief kind or hike the shorts higher.

I wore this to a black tie gala that was sponsored by my job. It was very comfortable (thick yet stretchy material), did nt need to wear any shape wear. I'm somewhere between 145 -150lbs (weight fluctuates :S) and about 5'6. I would say I'm pear shaped. All in all this was a great rental. I originally ordered the size 6 but the backup size 4 fit better.

It wasn't exactly my first choice, but it worked out wonderfully. I was super impressed with the quality. It ran true to size, if not a little bit shorter than I expected, but I'd rather have that than dragging on the floor. It was very comfortable and had some give. I thought I was going to feel a little bit "mother of the bride", but the slit up the front gives a nice, sexy, yet still classy look! The navy color was slimming, and was more unique than a black dress- just what I wanted!

Loved this dress and it fit perfectly on me. I'm 3 months postpartum and still have a little belly, but this dress hugs the body great and the added little ruffle kind of hides the stomach. I wore 3" heels and it was the perfect length. The slit is a little high so when the wind blew, I had to hold it down and it also was a little revealing when sitting but still manageable.

Ready to wear tight out of the bag.Thick material that didn't crease or wrinkle. Hangs nicely, hugs curves while still being incredibly comfortable. The 4L was a little loose but the length was perfect with 4 in heels. Would rent again

I absolutely loved this gown. So comfy and stretchy. I probably should have sized down to a 10 because the top was a little big and I'm bigger up top to begin with. It wasn't so big that it was an issue though and I got compliments all night!

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding. I was worried the slit would be too high in the front, but it's angled over the side. The fabric is thick enough to not wrinkle and lay nicely. I didn't have to steam or iron the dress when I received it. Loved the dress- would rent again.

This dress is a dream. The fabric is silky and has a bit of stretch to it. The slit in the front hangs beautifully, then moves in a flirty way when you walk. I am 5'9" and wore 4 inch heels, and the Long length put the hem just above the floor. Perfect. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect for a nieces quinceanera .. true to size and fabric so nice I needed no bra or smoothing undies - just regular boy short hanky panky undies under this substantial material... would rent again for a gala as it was elegant and I rcvd many compliments!

The dress is a thicker ponte-like fabric. The reception was at night by the beach, so it was chilly, but the thicker material kept me warm for a good portion of the night.

This dress was super comfortable and stretchy. The straps are even stretchy and aren't restrictive at all. The slit in the middle is a little high and makes this dress sexy without being over the top. I am in between a 4 and 6 usually and went with the 4. I have a small waist and chest and a larger bottom and hips.

This dress was perfection. Had 3.5” heels on and was perfect length.

The dress was made from thick beautiful royal navy color and it looked amazing indoor and outdoor. I'm usually a size 4-6 and it fit me perfectly. The way they dress fit, it complimented my hips and the slit is just high enough so it's a bit sexy. Beware that you will not be able to lift your arms because of the tight shoulder straps!

I rented for my daughter's friend's summer wedding on the water. It was a cool breezy summer night and this dress was perfect. It fit perfectly but was a little long even in heels. It was comfortable, I felt great in it and received many compliments. I did reserve a back up and didn't even try it on.

This was the second time I wore this dress; the first was to a formal law school gala and this was for a black tie wedding. The material is thick and buttery with enough stretch to hug curves instead of restricting them. The dress has boning so enough support that I was able to go without a bra, which is awesome for someone larger chested like me. The length was fine with a slight heel. After the wedding I found a wine-colored version from Black Halo that was on sale so I ended up buying it!

I was not sure how the slit was working in the middle and thought perhaps my size was too small. However, I understood once you started walking and then sitting, it made for a very sexy look. People mistook us for the parents of the bride we were so sharp! :-0. I loved how the dress stretched with you. It was 90 degree day this dress was worn but the dress held up well and didnt make me sweat.

Took a chance with the 8L because the 8R was not available. I'm 5'5 and with my 4" inches heels the 8L was perfect. Fits true to size and is super comfortable. The material has just enough stretch to move with you. I was very pleased with this dress.
