Bias cut and asymmetrical hemline jazzed up an otherwise normcore office silouhette. Worn with a pendant and booties I felt modern and fresh. Fit was snug and did require shapewear, so consider sizing up.

Wore this for a work conference and it was perfect. The unique hemline is very feminine and flows beautifully as you walk. Comfortable to wear and a gorgeous color.

I had to go a size up from the usual and the arms were a bit tight. However, it is comfortable and good quality. Can wear everyday, but can also dress it up. Made me feel very professional and would be great for a presentation or work event (or other social events, too).

Def runs small in the shoulders. I wear a size 6, and while the dress fit (it's completely stretchy), I couldn't raise my arms above my shoulders. Didn't notice it during the day at my desk job though. Comfy, is fun with the little swoosh in the side.

A beautiful dress with thick, but breathable material. There was a hint of stretch in the fabric but those with broader shoulders and biceps might want to consider sizing up. It fit perfectly had it been sleeveless, but it isn't and the sleeves while not overwhelming we're still super tight and limited my upper body mobility.

I wore this at a mid-week evening awards ceremony for my work. I'm usually size 4-6 and the 6 was a snug fit, but there's a little stretch in the fabric so it fit nicely. It's a beautiful dress and was appropriate for the occasion. I loved the teal color and the asymmetrical hem/seams make this dress stand out. It would have received 5 stars, but the dress smelled heavily of dry cleaning chemicals (presumably from repeated cleanings) and over time the smell made me a little dizzy. The dress also irritated my skin, also, presumably from the chemicals (because the fabric was nice and smooth against my skin). RTR needs to transition to green cleaning. It's better for the environment AND their customers.

It's a very comfortable dress.. as comfy as PJs! Just a bit tight in biceps and shoulders but I do have huge arms -- so I had to size up.

I really enjoyed wearing this dress for work! The slightly longer hem on one side gave it a slight twist on an otherwise lovely and classic dress. The fabric has a nice weight to it and the color is really beautiful. The 4 fit perfectly and was very comfortable.

Would be good for an office setting where the thermostat is always too low - it's a nice thick material that stretched and conformed well to my body (instead of bunching or bulking up). The asymmetric hem is nice but can feel a bit long / like a lot of fabric depending on height.

I ended up wearing this to a Gov’s Dinner. It was to the knee and it was fitted through the bodice. The material was a heavy, but not bad. I was just glad something fit from my order.

This dress is a beautiful color. I couldn't wear it because the sleeves were too tight I have admittedly larger muscular/athletic arms but I don't typically have an issue.

I was pleasantly surprised by this dress. I thought it was going to look blah but instead it is very nice. The asymmetrical hem is a nice touch and the seams actually run in a diagonal instead of straight up and down. However the size ran very small. I could just barely zip it all the way up. I contemplated wearing it as it was fitted and looked beautiful BUT the arms were very tight and I couldn't lift them at all. I felt like Frankenstein. Sadly for this reason I couldn't even consider wearing it. For reference I am 5'5" 139lbs and a size 8 normally

Unfortunately, this fit too snugly. I am usually comfortable in a 14 but this was too tight in the stomach. Gorgeous color and fit otherwise. Heavy fabric, nice lining.

I wore this dress for Halloween to look like The mother of Dragons. Wore it with brown boots, beige leggings and a wig. Ha! It was extremely comfortable and the material was thick. I got so many compliments on my costume!! Thank you RTR

Super comfortable, elegant, and classy. The hem goes a long way to make it a little more modern because the combination of material/silhouette would feel a little frumpy without it.

Rented with my unlimited. Love this brand for work - classy and chic. I am a 0/2 and went with the 2. Fit was great - fitted but still comfortable. The dress actually has asymmetrical seaming, which gives the skirt a sort of pleated look. I am 5'2" and it was below my knees, which I expected, but with heels it looked great not frumpy.

It fits well. Looks very elegant. You can accessorize it with chunky jewellery as the dress in itself is fairly simple.

Loved this dress but I do think Black Halo runs small (more like Valentino) - I am usually an 8 and always a 10 in Black Halo.

I got lots of compliments on this dress. I wore it twice, both to work. I normally am a 2, but got a 4 and it fit great. Like other reviews mention, it is tight in the shoulders, but that didn't stop me from wearing it!

Great fit — definitely size up though. I’m usually a 10 or 12 and I ordered a 14. Could’ve gotten away with a 12 except for the arms. Definitely needed the 14. But the cut is very flattering for a curvy body type. Would rent this again!

This is a great dress for work or a professional event, or even date night. The color is lovely and the dress is very tightly woven, providing almost a Spanx-like effect around the waist and torso without being uncomfortably tight. I will rent it again.

Loved loved loved this dress! Wore for a presentation to a board of directors. Looked professional yet different from the gray/black norm. The asymmetrical hemline is another great touch.

I have a small waist and it does fit snugly but comfortably. If you have a larger midsection or wider back, there may be a problem with the zipper going all the way up.
