Size 8 was perfect for me! I brought it for a Salsa function and it was incredible to dance in and still elegant enough for cocktail events. This dress makes you feel beautiful and the color red is an eye grabber.

This is such a flattering dress! Just be aware it is a little longer than possibly expected… Looks best with heels if you are 56 or shorter for sure! I always size up with black Halo dresses. The little slices of fabric on both of the sleeves hide Armpits in photos, so that is an added bonus! Highly recommend this dress fits like a glove

Review said to size up, happy I did! Fit like a glove. The neckline can get weird if you over adjust it gets “stuck” weird. Was able to fix by pulling the dress off a bit and pulling back on.

This dress was sooo pretty. I didn’t want to return it. The material was quality, the fit was everything and the compliments were in abundance. Be sure to watch when you sit because the side swoop with the rushing will show your décolleté on one side of your chest. I’ll pulled it up periodically during zoom meetings.

A real stunner, the strip dress fits so well. Showed off my curves without being too sexy. Was able to wear for a work event and keep it on the shoulder to be more conservative during the day. And off the shoulder for cocktail hour at night..

Fit perfectly. Looked so chic! (I didnt wear those shoes with it). At first, the chest fabric was falling a bit strangely, but I steamed it a second time, and got it to fall more fashionably. Good lightweight fabric. Felt expensive but not heavy. I wanted to buyyyyy.

Black Halo is awesome. I sized up based on reviews and feeling a little more fluffy these days… it fit perfectly and was such a classy and simple look. I had lots of compliments. Kept accessories simple and wore black stiletto sandals.

The Black Halo Jackie never fails! This gorgeous red number came with the tags still attached. I wore it for work and wish I had better photos, but I signed an NDA so this hotel room selfie is all I can share. The fabric has some stretch - like a thick jersey. Still, I always size up in Black Halo and recommend that if you’re on the bubble between sizes. This dress is classy, conservative and sexy all in one. Rent it…you won’t be disappointed!

I recently wore the Black Halo dress to my work holiday party — received SO many compliments! Definitely worth renting. After reading the reviews, I did go up a size. I am between a 6 and 8. I went with the 8 and wish I would’ve went with the 6 instead. There were some give. The 8 still fit fine, just a little more loose up top, but still looked great. Lovely dress!

Fit was on point, but wasn’t loving the neckline - felt boxy.

I love a Black Halo dress as the shapes are flattering and chic. The fabric on this was lightweight, which is nice for the summer months. But it was riddled in wrinkles that were hard to release. Hence the knock off of one star.

Wanted to love this dress but didn’t love it. 4 stars because overall either someone who likes the top or has a larger bust at have a different outcome. This dress is otherwise structured in its design and flexible in fabric however I found the top to be a MESS. I was expecting the top to lay flat, be more stiff and structured and that’s not the case. Even with a padded bra I couldn’t get the dress/top of dress to lay flat or a way that I like therefore I passed on this one. Color is stunning and truly a vibrant red!
