I wore this for full body work photos where I had to wear all black. Really, i rented 7 black dresses and this one was the winner. I loved this dress because it has thick, but somewhat stretchy material, so it is not see through at all. It also covers arms and hit below the knee on me (I'm 5'6 1/2") so it was more modest for my professional photos. Would rent again! Also, it's hard to walk unless you slightly unzip the slit, but that didn't bother me.

There’s a slit, but it’s controlled by a zipper so you can determine if there is a slit and how high up it goes. Beautiful dress with great lines, but if you are one that must wear a bra, the straps could be a problem due to the neckline.

This dress runs very small!! But still super thick gorgeous material that hugs in all the right places. I wish I had sized up but I still got a ton of compliments. I'm 5'7" 140lbs and I wore a 6. I normally wear a 4 or 6 in dresses and I should have gotten an 8 in this dress.

Another black halo winner. This one had the same classic material with a slightly larger (or stretched in) fit. The front slit zips down or up, which was fun (I unzipped in the picture when I got home from work).

This dress is everything I had hoped it would be. The finite details are perfect. From the zipper slit to the notched sleeves. Perfectly thought out. So obsessed with this dress. I will probably purchase at some point. A little snug, but hugs in all the right places!

You will not be able to zip this all the way up on your own without help, but I loved everything else about it. Threw on a green flowy blazer and wore it all day for meetings and a work dinner.

Like many black halo dresses, size up and you won’t be sorry. A little tight in the shoulders/chest if you’re full busted but it is so worth it. This dress screams sexy and classy at the same time.

I rented this dress for a work event which was canceled. It was too formal to wear to the office so I didn't end up wearing. This would be perfect for a corporate evening event, it's soooo elegant. I usually wear 0 but I rented size 2 and it fit perfectly, albeit a little long for my height 5'2. Size 0 would have been too tight on the hips.

These black halo dresses are literally perfect. I wore this with black 4" heels and I felt like a 1990s supermodel. Gorgeous!

Loved this for work. I liked being able to alter the look with the zipper. It ran small for me, though.

This dress was tight in the shoulders and arms, and a little too big around the waist. I didn't have much arm mobility and couldn't really raise them above my head because of how confining the fabric is. The adjustable slit is a great idea though! Overall, I felt almost queen like in this dress, but it was a little too formal and immobile for wearing to work more than once.

I am typically a true size 8 - I needed to go up a size in this dress. If you have smaller thighs and butt, you can probably go TTS. Broad/wide shoulders and arms beware - it will be tight! I loved the zipper slit detail.

This was a great dress for the office but it was not stretchy and I could barely fit into it. I would size up in this dress. I really liked the slit because it has a zipper so you can control how high you'd like the slit to go. Maybe I'll rent it again in a larger size.

Runs a tad tight. It looked decent enough but I was very uncomfortable in it all day. Can't raise your arms at all. Couldn't wait to take it off

I could not wear too tight . The other styles came in size 2 and they were fine. This in size 2 was very tight. Size up in this style.
