I absolutely loved this dress. It's a gorgeous color, flattering fit, and was heavy enough to keep me cozy at an outdoor fall wedding. I got tons of compliments on this dress and spent some time seriously considering buying it because I loved it so much. The waist has some stretch so you don't have to worry about feeling too squeezed in. I felt totally comfortable even after a very big, very delicious wedding dinner! I highly recommend this dress for fall/winter events!

This dress is beautiful, it's warm, it has pockets, and it's comfortable. There's not one thing wrong with it. It can be belted or not, worn with heels or flats or boots, it's great.

The dress was perfect for a fall/winter outdoor wedding. In addition to being stylish, it kept me warm with the thicker fabric. I'm petite but the sleeves and overall length were not too long. Wore it for the 3 hr drive home and was perfectly comfortable too.

Red velvet with pockets and a draped feminine neckline? Yes please. Fit me like a dream and was not too low cut for work. The dress is lined which is a really nice touch.

I loved wearing this dress, it was warm and fun to walk around it, but it would have been much better if it was 5 or more inches taller it but me between my ankle and mid calf in a very matrian-ish way. It also doesn't photograph super well because it so dark and the sleeves are so voluminous, my waist line looked like it didn't exist in all the photos of the actual event.

I love this dress. It is warm and comfy and it feels expensive. The fabric is high end and gorgeous and the color is lovely. Also, this is a Black Halo dress that wasn't too small in the shoulders for me! Win! Only drawback is the zipper is odd in that it even with it this still has to go on over your head. But it's a minor quibble.

Loved this dress, very flattering, and comfortable. Received compliments all night. The fabric is nice, heavy, thick velvet. The top has some stretch and there are pockets!! Will definitely rent again. The 8 fit, although the top was tight and the sleeves a little short, went with the 10 which fit perfectly.

Love this dress

This dress was too voluminous on me. I am 5 ft 4, so between full skirt, large sleeves and a bow tie, i got lost in it. The quality is great. The color is deep and lustrous. It would be even better on a taller person.

I received so many compliments on this dress. The material looks luxe AF and the colors fit in so well with holiday decor. Comfort-wise, it's a little bit heavier but great for cold weather; it also has pockets! I rented this for family photos. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Nice fit- V-neck a little low for someone my height. Chest size migt be a bit tight for bigger busted silhouettes. I did need to "Spanx it" as some lumps showed- but overall chose this over others and got lots of + comments at a Winter wedding!

It is a flattering cut and very soft. Not clingy so it is a little forgiving too. All in all a nice dress that can be made more dressy with the right shoes/earrings or less if you prefer.

Super warm

Love this dress!! Luxurious feel on, several compliments from other attendees, but also from the lovely wait-staff. The neckline is a bit low but with a thick velvety neck tie to take the edge off...wish I could afford to buy it! Oh, almost forgot there's perfectly placed pockets!!

The dress was super comfortable and very easy to wear with normal undergarments. It was thick material and warm for the winter months. It was perfect for a holiday party and I received a lot of compliments.

This was a surprisingly nice dress. The fabric really makes it stand out. Definitely a cold weather dress; it is warm. One thing I did not like, however, is that the pockets sit right at the hip, and the bulkiness of the material makes you look "hip-y." I felt the need to keep my hands in my pockets, while on the move, or smooth down the bulk, while standing. I have rented this a couple times. 32A/24/35

I rented this for a formal dinner and it was perfect. it is really comfortable and a beautiful color and fit that made it easy to wear. and even better, it has pockets! would rent this again for a holiday party.

I was first worried about this dress because I am only 5 feet tall, I thought it would be too long. It came to about mid-calf on me so it was fine. I did not see any shape issues as another reviewer mentioned. I loved the pockets and did not think that it added any extra to my hips. The pockets fit my iPhone which was awesome and did not pull the dress down. I have to look up how I can get this dress. I could definitely see it in my wardrobe.

I loved how this velvet dress moved. At first I thought the fabric was too obviously synthetic (I do prefer rayon and silk velvet to polyester), but the cut and flow of the dress made up for it. I felt pretty in it and it was flattering. I usually wear a size 14 but this 12 worked fine.

This dress has some surprising weight to it, but it's insanely comfortable and soft and has pockets and is a total goth-witch fantasy. Unfortunately just not what I needed this time.

I'm a 12-14, and the 12 was tight through the bust/waist but still comfortable and flattering. I thought I looked nice in the dress, but I honestly couldn't believe how many compliments I got on the color/fabric and my overall look. And this from a group of relatives who normally never notice what I wear! I was nervous about this dress, so glad I took a chance on it. Was perfect with black tights and ankle boots.
