Loved this dress! True to size, fit was snug but in a good way. Slit was pretty high I had to be carful sitting and walking up steps. The color was amazing. Would rent again.

Great mood booster for a gloomy winter day! Fit like a glove! The split does call for caution when sitting as to not flash your goods! Professional looking , nice quality material, joyous bright color and the front diagonal split made this dress not so typical office attire!

Tighter fitting than expected but cute!

This slit was borderline in je when I sat down and I'm short! But standing up was fine. Still it's a pretty dress and the cut at the bottom makes it interesting so I liked it. Generally fitted but not skin tight

Black Halo normally fits great on me, but not this time. The shoulders felt a little tight. The slit in the middle kept opening up, so had to tug this dress down multiple times to avoid it from showing my crotch. Loved the bright blue color. Wish it fit better.

I really liked this dress. It's conservative enough to wear to work and the front slit adds just enough "edge" to transition to an after work event (which is what I was renting it for). It's a great color. Definitely need to wear Spanx, even though the material isn't too thin, and seems to be of good quality, you can see my abs poking through. So definitely needed to wear something to smooth things out.

I rented this dress for work. I love black halo dresses. The color was beautiful and the fit was true to size. However, I did find the slit a little too revealing when sitting down. I am 5'9" with extremely long legs.

Beautiful bright colored dress! However, the slit was too high to wear to the work place, and to church (which unfortunately I wore anyway and had to wear my coat to hide that when I sat the lace from my thigh highs showed). Maybe it would have been different if I sized up. However the dress is beautiful but wear with full panty hose and on a date or out with friends.

This dress is a fantastic choice for a nice evening out, party or some other event that requires something stylish and classy. The only thing I will note is that the slit is high once you sit down.

Great work dress. The color and fit are stunning and so flattering. The slit is high but I'm short so it looks fine. The color is a great punch and so pretty. I've rented it for a year now and notice this last time that there's some fading in the color and fabric isn't as crisp. Rent it a day you want to feel really confident at work.

True to the brand, this dress is form fitting, which I love for work. This particular dress was slightly smaller than I am used to. I always size up (usually 12, but rent 14) for Black Halo, but this dress was still tight overall. The slit was tasteful while standing but inappropriate for work when walking and sitting. I did love the color, but this one was a miss for me.

Dress is difficult to zip if you are somewhat curvy. Very tight in the chest and stomach area. Beautiful blue color.

Listen ladies, if you have any sort of hips or bust, you're gonna need a size up. Pretty color, gorgeous structure. Just get a size up. I'm a size 6 woman and I should've gotten a size 8.

Quite possibly the worst Black Halo dress. Their fit and quality has declined over the years. Not what I'd expect from a pricey brand.

Ordered in a 16, which ran very small. Material has no give, so definitely size up if available. Nice color and material.

Nice fit but to tight around the bust. I am size 14 38 c cup. 5'2 185 pounds. I was hoping the slit on the bottom was sewn shut but it is not. The color is amazing. A great dress maybe if I ordered a bigger size it may have worked but I would have been worried about the slit all day. Never worn sent back.

DO NOT get this for work or any professional events. The slit in the front (which looks appropriate on the model pictured) is actually VERY LARGE & HIGH on the leg)! I couldn't even wear the dress.

I am 5'7" and the slit sat at crotch level, but the dress itself is super cute and well made so if you are on the shorter side, this one's for you.
