Flattering dress! Great color.

Good length and coverage for work yet frames the body well. It was a little tight along the thighs, but I think that added to it making me look better. Even with the tightness it was not uncomfortable to sit, stand or walk.

Not as flattering as some of the other dresses by this designer but good for work. Pretty neckline and color. Cotton material.

I sized up based on other reviews so it fit nicely around the waist but then everything else was too big. It looked better with the sleeves rolled up.

This was SO comfortable and warm while I was working in an office where the heat was, um, less than ideal and I really enjoyed it! This dress was snug for me and I had a little struggle with the zipper, but forgot about it as soon as I left the hotel. This one is in the rotation!

I rented this for a work conference and loved it. I was nervous about the sleeves on this dress because the sleeves typically are tight on my biceps but this dress fit like a glove. It was a little bit tight on my hips/butt, but even with an hourglass figure it was very comfortable. I typically wear a 4 or 6 and took a gamble with the 4 and won. Only negative was that the sleeves were long so I rolled them under. Thick material and very flattering. Got many compliments!

I wore this to the office and to an after-hours work reception. I received many compliments - my colleagues said it felt very “first lady.” I normally wear a size 12/14 but I ordered the 16 due to other reviews and availability . It fit in the chest and the waist, but the arms were too big and too long. Also, it’s pretty clear that this dress has been worn a lot. The knee length was perfect.

I was ecstatic when this Black Halo dress came in brand new with tags! Just disappointed that the sleeves were long and bigger. I ended up wearing it still and just rolled up the sleeves.

I rented this for work. I liked the color but I didn't love the fit. I wish it had been a tad shorter and had more stretch. However, I was still able to walk easily because the slit in back is pretty high (but not inappropriately so)

Fit like all other black halo dresses, which is snugger than the same size in Badgley Mischka and others but still flattering.

Loved the fit and appearance. Wore it for a work conference and received numerous compliments. Looked excellent and its a lovely quality and color. Very elegant.

Loved the look of this professional dress but went up to an 8 when I purchased. The 6 (my usual) was too snug through the waist and hips.

I rented this dress for work and had many compliments. It fits well, but I will say, if you are busty it may be a bit tight for you. It's a beautiful winter color made out of nice fabric that wears well, plus it's comfortable. It's a great dress for a winter day as it will keep you warm. I would definitely rent this dress again.

Nice dress - lovely plum color and heavier weight that is nice for fall and winter. It fit true to size, though the arms were a bit long. Great for work or anytime you need to look professional.
