I wore this to church and it had the right degree of modesty and flair.

Smidget tight on the chest. Had to hold my breath while someone zipped me up. That last button was screaming, "girl you know better". Overall I loved how it fit, yes I could have went up in size but glad I got the size I picked.

I wore this dress for a creative photo shoot. I loved the color and fit, though I did have to adjusted a bit. I was fine with that since I wasn't planning on spending much time in it. The slit is definitely high, but worked for what I was using it for. I recommend sizing up if you're wearing this to work.

Gorgeous Kelly green dress. I am 5’3” and 130ish lbs, 34DD and got the size 6. The dress is structured and holds you in. Tons of compliments, but spent a lot of my time adjusting the slit when sitting and walking! I did wear this for work, so I had to be a little more modest.

Not only was this dress the perfect color, but it fit so well! I received compliments throughout the day. The button detail was perfect. I was worried about mobility with the sleeves, but ended up with no problems, even with somewhat broad shoulders. Definitely a professionally fun dress.

I'm normally a 10-12 but the 14 was actually the best fit. Such a fun dress, the slit and color are stunning! I definately recommend!

Loved the shade of green (see photo with natural light for best color comparison). Adored the details. I’m normally a 0-2, but maybe more 2-4 due to larger booty and quads lately. I would probably size up if you are more proportionally pronounced in the booty or breast area. I just felt it was too tight around my bum for work and then the skit was too exaggerated from my quads pulling at buttons. I will size up to a 4 for next rental since I loved the style!

With over 80 reviews there isn't new territory to cover. Instead I'll tell you why I didn't give this gem of a dress 5 stars - it's the slit. Specifically it's very high and not appropriate for sitting in open office space - it's just too much. Personally, I don't like slits in dresses or skirts that are above the knee, I think it's just too hungry. However the color of this dress and the overall style were too tempting to ignore. Fabric doesn't hold lint or pet hair.

As others mention, this BH runs small. After I had it on for a bit I got used to it, but don't rent it if you plan to have a big meal! :) Perfect for a day at the office getting new headshots.

This runs small like most Black Halo dresses. It's well constructed and a gorgeous color. I wish the slot wasn't so high. Too much for me at work. Bummer.

Wore to a work conference. I am tall, so not sure if this is specific to my fit, but the slit was a bit high for what I was comfortable with. It looked great and I got a lot of compliments, but my face went blush red if I had to reach under the conference table for items in fear it was too showy. Not the easiest to bend in. Looks great standing up but be forewarned: climbs hosiery a little. Sitting down the slit seemed louder. But the color was marvelous and if you feel comfortable making a bold statement this is a great dress.

So obsessed with this dress. So form flattering (I'm not very curvy and it gave me shape). Loved loved loved the buttons. So many compliments. I do have pretty muscular legs/butt so it was kind of tight through the butt/quads when I sat down, but that was my only complaint. One of my favorite rentals!!!

The material feels so soft to wear. The solid green color gives the classy look. However, the stylish slit and buttons (on the right shoulder) give the playful look! I love it! I normally wear a size 4-6. At the time. size 12 is the available size left to rent. So, I still rented it for my sister to wear. It ended up to fitted for her even though she normally wears a size 12. I tried it on - It fits for me (size 4-6). Please see photo attached. Hope this dress gives you joy :)

I love this dress but sadly the slit was too high, and combined with the tighter fit, it was not appropriate for work. I sent it back unworn!

The color is just gorgeous. I'm a 4 in dresses usually but sized up based on reviews. Happy I did. The 8 was perfect for my curves. Super flattering. Just the right amount of sexy.

This dress is a gorgeous color and material, but it runs very small. I am typically a 6-8, I rented a 10, and wished I had gone up to a 12.

Echoing what I read in other reviews - this dress runs small like the other Black Halo piece I've worn. Great overall construction except the bottom button. I saw other reviews say they thought it may pop off, well unfortunately mine did. I will also say the slit is higher than expected even after reading that it's likely too high for work. I would agree that I wouldn't wear it to work without tights.

Unique dress that I got lots of complements, however the fit was a little off and the slit was a little too high for work.
