I wore this dress for my garden party themed bridal shower and it was beautiful! The flower placement highlighted my shape and I felt confident. It is a little tighter in the hips so keep that in mind for sizing and underwear choices (I am pear shaped and my normal size fit fine).

I wore this for my bridal shower and it was a big hit. I have a larger chest and pretty big hips so I typically go a size larger if there isn't stretch and this fit really nicely and was flattering.

I wore this for my grad school graduation and it was perfect! I wore spanx to smooth everything out, but it for like a dream and was the perfect length!

Super cute daytime / warm weather dress! I'm usually a size 4 but wore the 6 at 31 weeks pregnant and it stretched nicely around bump. Nice substantial fabric that felt like it hid small imperfections without needing shapewear and I didn't worry about any see-throughness.

This is not the type of dress I'd normally pick as someone who lacks the curves to pull off more fitted silhouettes, but I decided to step outside my comfort zone for my bachelorette and I'm so glad I did! I probably should have sized up (I'm between an 8 and 10 these days), but I'm glad I went with the 8 since the snugness gave me the illusion of a waist I don't actually have (the Spanx didn't hurt either). It fit like a glove and I felt great wearing it (it does have some stretch to it so while it was tight, I wasn't worried about busting a seam).

Have someone around to help with your zipper, other than that truly enjoyed this dress.

Worn out to dinner for my bachelorette party and was comfortable all night long. Hugs curves in all the right places. Only issue was it was a little tight across my chest but not uncomfortable or a deal breaker for me.

Pros: Wow, was this a sexy (but classy) little number! The fabric is beautiful and I received a lot of compliments. I am hourglass/pear shaped, with a 32D bust, ~26 in. waist, and ~41 in. hips. I was worried about the dressing not fitting my body shape well and may be too loose around the waist in order to fit my hips, but I was able to wear the size 2 and it hugged my curves perfectly! Being 5'4" the length hit right at my knee and looked best with heels of significant height. Also, the straps are adjustable!! I was able to go bra-less with the straps tightened. Cons: This may be due to my size choice and body type- but the dress was pretty tight around my hips. It was hard for me to bend over, and when I sat down, I was at the edge of my seat sitting up very straight. I also needed to flatten and pull the dress down every once in awhile so that it laid nicely. I would recommend wearing spanx as it does show everything (especially after having some dinner, lol).

This was my first time using RTR! My commencement was canceled due to COVID19 so my partner and I both rented dresses and had a photoshoot. As you can see both dresses were show stoppers but I think mine took the cake! No bra needed -super form fitting -not see through at all. Im 5,4, 150 pounds, & run between a 8 & 10 in dresses. The 8 fit like A GLOVE! I'd say it runs true to size and has a bit of stretch if needed. This dress brightened what would of been a gloomy day! Thank you RTR.

I wore it with a strapless bra but most probably could wear without. This dress was super comfortable, durable, and all around a great pick for my very first rent the runway experience.

I wanted to wear white to my welcome/rehearsal dinner but since it was at the botanical gardens I also needed to wear florals. This dress was exactly what I was looking for. The floral pattern is bold but the dress is still white enough that it was obvious who the bride was. The dress felt fitted in the chest but I found there was a little extra fabric around the stomach. I kind of wish I could've tried on a 2, but it probably would've been TOO tight. Plus, I may have noticed a little extra fabric in the stomach area, but in pictures it's really not a thing. Overall, quality dress that I'm so glad I rented.

Loved this dress for my bridal shower! Thankful it didn't show sweat, showed the curves but also was comfortable! It did show any imperfections so I wore some shaping undergarments and it was perfect!

This was a littttle tight but overall TTS. The material was fancier than I anticipated but I threw on a jean jacket & my favorite chucks to keep it casual for one of the last days before Labor Day. There is so much to say about this dress. When I tried it on I was in LOVE. the fabric is light and so soft. I initially thought it was a strapless dress but the spaghetti straps added a level of comfort for me. I didn't have to wear a bra. That was an absolute plus and I didn't look like i had a uniboob. I am not curvy but this dress made me feel like Marilyn Monroe and the length was great too!. I wore this dress to my rehearsal/welcome cocktail party and it was a total hit!

This was my "back up" dress for my rehearsal dinner, but when I tried it on I loved it so much I wore it instead of the original dress I was going to wear. It was perfect for summer, and I loved the hints of color it had to bring some uniqueness to bridal outfit. The size 2 was the only size available-- I may have been able to fit into the 0 if I wanted it a little tighter, but the 2 gave me room to eat and drink all night. I'm only 5'3" and loved the length on it. The material is stretchy which is different than other dresses I've worn by this designer. All in all, would definitely recommend.

Curvy girls dream!! Very stretchy! Fits so well! The top was just a little loose since I'm a pear shape. But it wasn't a problem since the straps can be adjusted. Just overall perfect dress. Would definitely rent again! Wore this for graduation

I wore this dress to the Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs in Louisville. It fit really well, and looked smooth with high rise spanx, and a strapless bra. The adjustable shoulder straps helped keep the girls under control. Styled with a white shrug and hot pink accessories to fit the Oaks' "wear pink for the fillies" tradition. My fiance loved it! I was obviously the first renter of this beauty as it arrived ready to wear, with tags intact. Thanks for an easy and perfect rental RTR!

I love Black Halo dresses and this one was great. I just found a better dress for the party I was attending. The fabric is thick and flattering, the bust was a little big but a perfect dress for a summer wedding or shower

I wore this dress to my bridal shower. It was a lovely, comfortable dress. However, I wouldn't recommend wearing it on very warm days since it's designed to fit very close to the body. The humidity was not my friend that day. I felt confident putting it on but the bunching kept causing the dress to move upwards on my body and ended up making me look like I have a larger belly than I do. It could have also been the humidity combined with the alcohol making me bloat. If you're a bloater - I would pick something else! What a pretty pattern thou! :)

Fit great! Hugged all the right places, but was forgiving as well. It was a little big for me around the midsections/hips, but I didn’t mind it! I got a ton of compliments on the dress! I’m definitely happy I rented it! It’s perfect if you’re a curvier girl, but be careful because it is not very stretchy and might not fit a large bust super well unless you’re ordering up.
