Great fit but the fabric was a lot thinner than I expected. Definitely great for fall/spring. There's a zipper in the back, those are faux buttons in the front.

Loved the fit of this, very flattering. It was a little loose in the midsection, but the buttons are not for show and do gap with nothing under so I was glad I stuck with the 12. It is also very comfortable!

A beautiful dress, and fits looser than expected around the waist and hips but tighter across the bust. I needed to use tape to prevent the fabric between buttons from puckering. Overall, a great dress.

I was intrigued by this shift meets shirt dress. The color and fabric are lovely but the length and cut veers into dowdy territory for me. I jazzed it up with a wide belt.

Bottom of zipper protruded. Had to cover with a long sweater. Otherwise a good dress. Like the retro style.

I was expecting more from a dress that apparently retails for nearly $800. Was not impressed by the look or feel of the silk-lycra fabric and the dress overall seemed poorly constructed. The buttons down the front are false buttons, but are still the only places where the front of the dress is sewn closed, meaning that the two-inch sections between each set of buttons gaped open. I don't have a particularly large bust but still had to use a safety pin to keep the dress closed over my chest. The dress similarly gaped at my hips when walking and sitting. Maybe sizing up would help, but there are so many better dresses on RTR that I would recommend choosing something else.

This dress is an absolute stunner! It's comfortable yet flattering, the pattern is to die for and the style of it is so different than anything I'd normally wear. Would definitely wear this one again, highly recommend!

Loved this dress!! Wore it to work and it was perfect. fits true to size. The only con I had was I was there was some type of fabric behind the buttons, especially for wearing to work. when you sit down, you are able to peek through at your skin on your stomach and legs, could be a faux pas if you don't have undergarments on...

It's such a lightweight dress. The high collar with the buttons that go up the front and a slight pinch at the waist...I felt very ladylike but also still in charge. I wore it all day for diff speaking engagements and then grabbed a cardigan and wore it for my date later that night.

The fabric is actually a thin, stretch silk. I had pictured jaquard or something with more structure, but the fit is so beautiful and comfortable the dress is perfect. I wore it to work and received many compliments.

Nicely fitted with very comfortable and forgiving elastic high waist. Material is soft and beautifully subtle.

The material is gorgeous, as is the color. It fit like a dream when I put it on, it after I wore it for a bit, the buttons began to gape in very unfortunate areas.

Loved the dress, not much give. The buttons gaped right at my lower thigh area. I don't own. A soup so I just wore a really tight skirt under it. I probably could have sized down to get a "like a glove" fit but since it was work work I didn't need a tight fit. The cut off the dress is so unexpected and great.

This dress got me several compliments. The fit was lovely, but the buttons gaped slightly depending on how I moved. This dress required a slip.

Most important - the buttons do not open so what you see is what you get (it was a little too conservative up top for me and I'm pretty conservative dresser - an open button or two would have been great). It is a very flattering dress, great material and hangs nicely. The colors are a little muted but its a cute dress. I'm a 10 (maybe an 8 on a good day) and it hung nicely on me (not too tight but not where it looks like I needed to fill it out more).

The dress is flattering and the fabric, is nice quality and is very pretty but it's quite dark and very muted, almost somber. Unfortunately, the placement of the buttons in the bodice ensures a big gap right between the breasts, so I do not recommend this dress for anyone above a C-cup. I loved the skirt and the fluted hem. I would suggest this dress for a serious occasion where it is important to be dressed appropriately, perhaps for work or a funeral.

I wore this to work and got so many compliments on it. It is a really rich beautiful material and extremely comfortable to wear. I am petite so the dress hit me a little long. A 2Petite would have been a better fit overall for me. (If they Even make it in that size )

It's a pretty dress but it's waaaaay too long for a short girl. The fit was off too, really loose in the stomach. I really needed to be 5 inches taller to wear it.

It ran way too big so I sent it right back. In the right size, it would be great though. Loved the pattern, material, and length.

This dress is really pretty. The fabric is soft and the cut is lovely. The buttons are just for show, but so are the button holes, as in they show your bra, your panties, they just gape open. I had to throw a slip on as I was running out of the house. If you have a slip then rent this, if not, get a slip and then rent it.

The fit was perfect.

Too tight in the chest and the tummy- the buttons were gaping. Probably needed to size up. Color was good. Material quality was good but thin, too thin for SF Bay area in December.

I am not usually sensitive to the feel of fabric - but I literally couldn't stand this fabric next to my skin. Being that it is almost 100% silk - I certainly didn't expect that. Also the full button look was cute standing still but at the first movement would gape in multiple sections.
