Runs large! The 6R was very roomy on me, and I'm usually a 6/8. Pullover style with a deep V and tie. The deep V probably wouldn't be work-appropriate for some unless tied strategically.

the dress is a nice silk, and has a gorgeous flower pattern in really pretty colors. great bow detail at the neck; taken together, these looked nice against the face. liked the sleeve length, which is between short and cap. the dress is MUCH longer and looser in person than on the model. i am a petite 5'7. i wore it under a long corduroy coat, and you could still see three inches of hem (no objections to this; just sayin' for my shorter sisters). i wouldn't describe the dress as baggy, but close to baggy/unflattering (minus 1 star for this). this one criticism aside, i popped it over skinny jeans and it never caught on the pockets, and it moved nicely when i walked.

I wore this for a memorial. The fit is drapey and loose while still being fitted in the sleeves. The material is thicker than silk but still lightweight and flowy. I just thought it was sort of boring, even with the pattern and bow. Not a showstopper.

Ran very large. Cute dress. I didn't wear because we were hit with a cold snap, but will definitely order again this spring!

This is essentially a floral silk sack, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I've got broad shoulders and the 12 was fine (sometimes I size up because of them), so I think that's where the fits-large thing comes in. I pulled it in with an open shrunken cardigan. Only con was that the silk got a little static-clingy throughout the day.

The contrast between this dresses high-tied neck and boxy cut is very chic! I only wish the fabric were higher quality. It's not yarn-died, so the blank back of the fabric is visible at the sleeves... :-(

I’m usually a 10 but got this in the 8 because of the other reviews. It looked like a massive tent. But with a thin belt, it was great. This was the perfect early spring week and this was the perfect dress for it. I had two important work event, speaking at a conference and a meeting out of town, so no overlap of attendees, so I got to wear this twice. Nice sub for a business suit.

I love the pattern of this dress, esp. the bow; however it runs large. I'm usually size 8/10, and since I am currently 26 weeks pregnant, I went with size 10 thinking that I might need extra room, but the dress still ends up too roomy even with my baby belly. The length is also a little long on me (which I don't mind), but if you don't like mid-length dress, this might not be for you. Overall, I'll rent again, but will definitely size down in the future.

Ordered a 6R and it was HUGE! I think I could have easily fit a 4, possibly a 2 for a better fit. The cut is rather unflattering as is, so ended up wearing a belt to give some shape. Quality of the material was really nice. Also, the neck tie was awkwardly longer than usual. Not sure where this dress is going as overall cut is extremely loose and unflattering like a moo-moo.

This dress was nice but did not seem to sit right on me. I seemed to be just a little too short for the length to hit quite right. I also didn't like how the sleeves sort of stuck out to the side instead of sitting more flat against my arm. Overall it was not flattering for me.

I read reviews and sized down. This dress was still so enormous that I couldn't wear it.
