The dress was a little long, but other than that it was perfect. I wore it for a formal Indian wedding and I fit right in amongst the mixture of saris and tuxedos. The overlay on top was different and very flattering

The small was a little big but I had to size up for the length so I could wear heels. Really beautiful dress.

I have received compliments all night long about the dress and every woman absolutely loved it! The size and length were perfect for me and the color was just perfect.

This dress truly ran super long- I wore 4 inch heels and had to be VERY careful about not stepping/tripping over it - short girls beware. I was SOOO happy with it though and my hubby loved it!

Dress fit perfect. I was able to wear 3 inch heels! You definitely have to have some height to wear this dress. I am 5'10'' and it was just an inch off the ground with 3 inch heels. Very comfortable and beautiful. Received a ton of compliments. Wore a strapless bra. Would have been better with no bra at all. The back is low cut with the sheer overlay.

This dress is a beautiful pastel blue color! It is very flowy, but still defines the waist with a stretchy waistband underneath the pleated top layer. You can dress this up or down depending on your event! This dress will be perfect for a spring or summer outdoor wedding!

The dress was so comfortable! I wore an XS long - I am 5'6'' and wore 4 inch heels so the length was perfect. The ridges cover up enough that I did not wear a bra (petals only). It runs a little big but almost true to size because I am normally a 0-2 and the XS worked, I could have worn an XXS if I wanted the underskirt layer is a little snug and rides up.

I really loved this flowy, comfortable, bohemian style gown! I would highly recommend this dress to anyone looking for a unique option for a spring time event. The formality is versatile and could be great for casual to black tie. The color is a perfectly soft baby blue and dark enough to be acceptable for a wedding guest attire. The dress has a stretchy nude band in the mid section to help define the waist under the loose top. The slip underneath hits at mid-thigh and the dress is sheer to the floor. The dress runs large and long. I am wearing the small, and it was too big- and long on me at 5'5 in 3.5 inch heels. I would love to rent this dress in XS for an event!

I'm 5'6" and I needed at least 4" heels/platforms to keep the dress from being too long.

A little too long, I had to wear really high shoes for it to not drag on the floor.

I wore the XSPetite, and I thought it fit true to size. I really thought this dress was flattering because of the high neckline and nude middle underlay. This dress was so fun to dress in, and I absolutely loved the color. I got a lot of compliments. If you are short, I definitely recommend going petite on this. I am 5'3,wore heels and still thought it was a little too long.

It was a beautiful dress for an outdoor wedding. The airiness of the dress made it very cool for a southern summer wedding. I wore 3 1/2 inch wedges and it fell perfectly on the ground.

I loved the color and flow of this dress that ended up being a last minute back up dress. It was long and slightly big on me and I ended up wrapping a belt on underneath to keep it up, but otherwise was a beautiful choice for an outdoor/indoor wedding.

the fit was flowy and light, being 6'0" the skirt underneath felt short at times however the dress itself was long enough when wearing flats. the bust was too big and quite stretched out under the arms. when I secured it back it fit better, I probably would order the ML if I ordered again. the dress I originally ordered became unavailable, this was a replacement and I was very pleased with it. I received so many compliments and felt comfortable all night long.

I adore this dress. I tried it on at the RTR brick & mortar storefront in NYC, so I knew it would fit. Though a maxi, it was perfect for a casual summer wedding. The fabric was light enough to survive an outdoor ceremony at the end of May. My only complaint was the length - I am 5'5", and even with my highest 4+ inch heels on, the hem on the 6 Regular was too long. I had to pick up the dress to walk anywhere, and stairs were absolutely impossible. Not ideal for dancing at a wedding reception.

I'm an 8 and 5'8.5". I wore 3 inch heels and it was ALMOST a little too long but worked well.

Great fit, no need to add slips for coverage and the length was perfect with 4 in heels.

The photos of this dress do not do it justice. This is probably my favorite RTR rental so far. It truly is a beautiful and elegant show stopper. The combination of the color and the unique style makes it stand out from the crowd. I wore it to a black tie yacht club event in Miami. It definitely runs large and long. I am 5' 7" and pretty much alway wear a size 4 or a Small but in this dress, the XSR was the perfect fit. I wore 3.5 inch heels and the dress skimmed the floor perfectly. I couldn't recommend this dress higher. (I actually went online today and bought the dress in another color!)

Gorgeous movement of the dress and would have been a blast to dance in. However, I didn't end up wearing because it was too big (I'm usually a 4 in dresses, got a size S, which was still too baggy). Obviously the fit is relaxed, but the looseness was ultimately not super flattering on me. However, I think it's beaaautiful dress and would be a perfect maternity dress.

This was beautiful! I ordered a small and am normally a size 8. In my mid 40's, I have to say that I was mighty glad I happened to own a light blue slip that I used as the fitted slip in the dress covered my bum and upper thighs....a little too risqué for the event I was attending. Other than that...GREAT!

I had tried on the Mlong at the showroom and it looked great, just a little loose under the arms. I ended up ordering the Slong, which was still a little loose, but it didn't matter much. The dress is so comfortable, yet still so feminine and elegant. I'm 5'8.5'', and with 4 inch heels the dress was almost grazing the floor. The dress arrived as though brand new with tags still on. I got so many complements. I absolutely loved the RtR experience. Can't wait till the next event!

I ordered this in an XS, if there is a XXS, maybe this dress would have worked. It just kind of hung in my body. However, this is a beautiful dress for the right figure...my rib cage is broad, so that made the dress look very wide on top. It's extremely comfortable and I really wish it would have fit better.

flowy and effortless fit. it does have an elastic cinch at the waist to give you some shape. I loved it, but i was very worried that i would snag it on anything and everything, as the outside layer is very delicate and the regular length is still quite long, even with a 4+ inch heel on.

Fit true to size. I'm tall so getting the extra length was necessary.

I wore this dress for my sister-in-law's wedding, while I was 6 months pregnant. I was unsure if the SR would fit so I ordered a MR and LR. The MR was a little big but not too big to wear. From earlier reviews I was concerned it would be too long for the shoes I packed, but I was able to wear 2.5" sandals with no dragging (i'm 5'5). The collar is semi-racerback but with the big peephole at the back I couldn't wear racerback bra -- so I just tried to be mindful of my straps. Great dress and I received compliments from family and even more strangers!

The only con I can think of was the length of the dress. I'm 5'1 so the dress was a little bit long on me, even though I was wearing 5' heels. Other than that it was perfect!

This dress didn't work AT ALL for me. First, it was much longer than all other dresses of the same size that I tried--even dresses by the same designer that were supposed to be the same length. Second, it has a keyhole back, which is covered by a sheer capelet. You can see right through the sheer back, so you have to have undergarments that work with that. Or no bra. I'm really not sure. It looks beautiful and runs very large--I'm not a skinny girl and I felt like a complete frump in it. I love RTR and would love to see some of the floor length gowns in petite sizes (shorter, not smaller!)

To long even with 4"heels, also noticed some pulls from previous owners. I should have asked for a small be this ran large around armholes (luckily that can be hidden easily at a dinner and cocktail hour, no dancing). However, I've had my eye on this BCBG for months and it is truly a pretty gown. Unique and appears two piece, but the tan midsection line you see is actually a ribbon/belt on the blue sheath underneath. Classy but also modern, and the prettiest blue that works for brunette a and blondes alike.
