This dress is simply a show stopper! I wore this to an Art Deco event and it was perfect! So many compliments throughout the night. I was very nervous due to the reviews saying it was short in length, but I thought it was perfect. I'm 5'5" and wore 3.5" heels and it still touched the ground. Fit perfectly true to size and was very comfortable. Don't hesitate to rent this dress!

I finally found a dress that fit on top and bottom, which is why I marked it as running a little small. I'm usually a four, but the six was comfortable. It runs short (I'm 5' 5" and wore three-inch heels). The dress is very lightweight, but I wasn't crazy about the mesh overlay fabric. It just doesn't look expensive. Thankfully, black and white usually looks good regardless. Very flattering. Nice for someone who has a curvy figure.

Rented this as a backup for another dress. Didn't end up wearing but would definitely rent again for another event!

Yet another R2R success! Rented this for my friend's James Bond inspired 40th Birthday party. Let me tell you- I felt Bond Girl fabulous all night!! Now on to the important details. Runs true to size. Rented the 4R with the 2R as a back up. I could have gotten away with the 2 but was more comfortable in the 4. I am 5'3" with a small bust and the length on the Regular was perfect with 4" heels. I did have to use a backless, strapless bra. My other friend rented the Jill Stuart "Side Part Gown" and she looked amazing!!!

This dress was gorgeous. The fit was true to size and very comfortable. My strapless bra was discreetly hidden under the strap on the dress. I wore 4 inch heels which allowed me to freely move around without having to hold up the dress or worry about tripping over it. I received compliments all night. I would absolutely order this dress again.

I rented the 6L and 8L. I'm typically a 6 and it fit perfectly. I wore ballet flats with the dress and the hem just hit the floor, would have been short with heels. It was super comfortable all night, never had to adjust it through sitting and standing. The dress moved beautifully when I walked and I received compliments from random people all night. So in love with the dress!

At 5'2", I usually require a petite dress. I was hoping for a short/petite option, but, since this awesome dress didn't come in petite... I gave the regular length a shot considering previous reviews stated that the gown is great for shorties. True story. I was so happy with the length. With 4" heels, the dress was the perfect length. The size 2, however was dragging a bit. So, I wore the 0. Also, I didn't wear a bra. The boning in the back, and the structure of the dress was just tight enough to keep the girls in place. This will NOT be the last time I rent from RTR. I'm a fan.

I absolutely loved this dress, and it was a huge hit at the wedding I attended! I'm 5'3" so the dress was a little long, but with heels it fit like a glove. I would recommend this dress to anyone who is going to a formal event!

Loved this dress! The pattern is so unique and the dress is flattering and comfortable. The back is awesome and I got tons of compliments. The fabric was lightweight and it was fun to dance in.

Had to order this 24 hours before an event and I was terrified it wouldn't fit or would be too dressy for a black tie optional wedding. Per usual, RTR knocked this one out of the park. The dress was on time and fit like a glove. I am only 5'1 so I was worried the dress would be too long and too big as I typically wear a 0. 5 inch heels made this dress perfect. The fabric is forgiving and it's loose enough around the waist to hide your flaws. I highly recommend this breathtaking dress

Like other reviewers have said, the dress is shorter than you might expect. I'm 5'7 and the long was barely long enough with a 3" heel. The back is amazing, but it's fairly impossible to wear anything but a backless bra with. Overall it's a gorgeous dress. I highly recommend it.

This dress was amazing! I wore it for my senior prom and felt so unique and beautiful. I ordered the 6R and the 4R. I was nervous about the length, because I am not very tall. The four fit me perfectly, but was a little bit long. The 6 did not fit as well, but I believe someone who had the dress before me had hemmed it (naughty naughty), so it was actually the perfect length. I ended up wearing the 4 anyways with 3 inch heels. The material is very durable, but not too heavy. I danced all night and did not overheat. I was hoping to be able to wear a regular bra with this dress, because I could always use more support in that area, (I am a 34DDD), but the back was too open. I ended up wearing a black strapless bra that's strap lined up perfectly with the black strap on the dress. The dress was a strong enough material that it provided me with extra support as well The material was very interesting, it was actually a mesh overlay. It was very durable and did not wrinkle at all throughout the night. I wore my hair in an edgy updo and did a hot pink pop of color on my lips. Other than that, I didn't add any flashy accessories, because the dress is so busy already. Overall, I am in love with this dress, and was very sad to return it.

I am 5'9" and weight 135 lb. I usually consider myself a size 6, but this 4L fit like a glove. Super comfortable. I wore it with a black strapless bra and a little bit of heal and it worked great. Danced all night in it and had a blast. Got a lot of compliment s too :)

Fit was true to size and quite comfortable. I wore pretty high heels, which is a definite must for us shorties! The length was perfect with my heels, though. :)

The 2R was a little bit big, but the back strap on the 0R was really tight. If you have a larger bust, consider sizing up a bit. Also ran a little on the short side, which worked for my height (wore 2.5" heels). Very light and easy to dance in - definitely recommend!

This dress was more fluid than I expected. It hugged every curve and was sexy without being revealing. The boning in the back helped the dress stay in place and it can be work without a brasserie.

Felt like I was taking a risk only receiving the dresses the night before our event, but I couldn't have been happier with the service, dress and how it made me feel. I'm so glad I listened to others around my height and ordered the long. With 3 1/2 heels it just hit the floor (for reference I am 5'4" 123 lbs.) I ordered a 2L and a 4L and ended up wearing the 2L. It was a little tight around the bottom of my rib cage, but the 4 was too loose in the top as well as too long. This dress helps you look formal and elegant while also standing out in a crowd of ordinary dresses. So sorry to see the gown go but can't wait to rent again!

This dress is really beautiful- more so in person than in the photos. It's hard to tell in the photos, but it has a thick liner and the print is a soft, mesh-like overlay with embroidery. Fitted top with a bra strap like closure across the back. Doesn't have a lot of stretch but still holds you in. It starts flowing out from the waist so it's very forgiving on the bottom half. The length was perfect for me- I'm 5'5", wore 3 3/4" heels and it just touched the ground. I normally wear a size 2 dress and this size 2R fit perfectly. It's a great print to stand out in a crowd of black gowns. Highly recommend!

Did not expect the fabric. I was expecting a stronger fabric that helped keeps things in place. But that's not necessarily a bad thing... It's a beautiful dress. Don't recommend wearing a bra. I thought I would be able to get away with one since it has the black strap across the back, but no, it definitely showed. I wore a sticky backless bra. As for the length, I'm 5.1 and it couldn't have been any more perfect. I personally think it's due to the fabric. It seems that it kinda shrinks with cleaning (that's just a guess), bc dresses are typically long on me unless I do petite sizes. Good luck if you are taller, bc it may be short on you if you get the dress I got- or if you are my height and hoping to receive the dress I received. The slight a-line fit of the skirt is very flattering on most body shapes. It's the perfect dress to make a statement without going over the top. Definitely recommend an up-do in order to show off the back.

This is one of my favorite RTR dresses! The pictures don't do it justice, it is so beautiful in person! I wore this to a car racing themed gala and received so many compliments. I agree with many of the other reviews that it is slightly small in the waist but I personally liked it slightly tight there due to the top/back. Otherwise it fits very true to size and is forgiving/flattering. I did go with the size L which I normally don't do (I'm 5'6) but with 3 inch heels it was perfect!

This dress fit perfect. It was a bit snug in the waist but not too bad. I am 5'1" and wore some tall shoes, but it was still a bit long. Didn't hinder my dancing though.

I'm usually between a 2 and a 4, and I couldn't zip up the 2L without feeling constricting (which the zipper stopped at lower back). The back strap was adjustable with hooks like a bra strap, which was GREAT to keep it from being too tight or droopy. I got the 4L, and with 3" heels on it came about 1 1/2" inches off the ground (I'm 5'7"), but I switched to flats later in the night so it looked fine. Couldn't wear a regular bra with this, but I wore a sticky backless bra and it was perfect! ABSOLUTELY recommend renting this!

I have a small bust and waist but not so small hips so I typically try to find dresses that are more forgiving when I rent. This one was a risk but I had to take it. With no bra and no spanx it was a perfect fit for my pear shape and was really flattering. I loved the geometric pattern and a friend paired the pink necklace for a pop of color that worked perfectly. I loved how I felt in the dress. After eating at the reception my waist line felt the squeeze but it was worth it. I thought the fabric was great and you can never go wrong with black and white for a cocktail or formal event. The dress was right at my feet which worked with my heels but on a taller person it could feel short. Also if you are busty you would want to go up a size because i was definitely tight in there. (Don't be deceived by my bra size I am far from a full 34D - I am really more of a C).

Fits perfectly. It was just the right length with 3inch heels. the fabric has a tendency to catch on things like sequins or Velcro so be wary, but overall a great fabric. back strap is a tad loose but didn't bother me at all and its more for beauty than function anyway! Loved it.

The only issue I had with the dress was the hook at the neck. You have to pin it to make it tighter but everything else eras perfect. Received tons of compliments throughout the night.

Thai dress was so incredibly comfortable! TTS, I felt the 2L fit better everywhere except the waist, it was a little tight which is why I ended up wearing the 4L, which also got great, just not as form fitting as the 2L. I am 5' 5" and wore 3 1/2 in heels and felt the length was PERFECT! I didn't want to send this dress back! So pleased with my first experience with RTR!

I have never received as many complements as I did when I wore this dress. Even people I didn't know came up to me and said I looked stunning. The dress was short so I wore flats and that worked perfectly. I had no problem otherwise. I would totally wear it again.

The regular length was a little short for me with heels and I'm 5'7. If you're in between like I am, pick the longer gown

Fit great! i am usally a 6 but the 8 fit better so runs alittle small. Loved that i could dance in it and didnt have to wear a bra so that was even better!

Fit was TTS and I was fine without a bra, even wearing a size larger than my normal size. I'm 5'7 and the long cut was best for me. I could have worn a 4L but it was unavailable.

The dress is very comfortable and easy to move around in. It fits true to size although the length could have been a little longer. I am 5'4 and only wore 2 inch heels and it was slightly short. All you need is nice dangling earrings and a cuff bracelet to compliment the dress - the pattern is busy enough.

I selected this dress as an option after both of the sizes of the original dress I rented for a black tie optional winter wedding were unable to ship to me. I really liked the design, and it was my boyfriend's favorite dress. I was only sent the 6L though, which was too large everywhere, but the length was perfect in 4" heels. I am small in the rib cage, and this dress needed to be tight in the back in order to hold everything in without a bra. The waste does run small compared to how much room is in the bust. I think the 4 would still be loose in the back, but I don't think my waste could fit into the 2. If I had to make this dress work, I would have had to get a backless bra. I hope that I have a reason to rent this dress again in the 4L!
