This dress was actually a back up dress for an event earlier in the evening. I wasn't even planning on wearing it....but boy am I glad I did!! The dress was very comfortable; easy to move in and not too short. It was flattering and accentuating. The peek-a-boo side was very sexy. Although it has long sleeves, the mesh fabric made it very airy. I did wear Spanx with this dress, but you couldn't tell. This was my first time using RTR and I will definitely use them again. They have GREAT costumer service.

The small was a bit lose in the stomach and the sleeves were also slightly baggy - Nothing that was noticeable to anyone besides myself. It was so comfortable and great for a night full of dancing. I wore it to a fraternity formal at a beautiful venue and it was perfect for the occasion. A simple up-do, earrings and heels were all the dress needed. I would 110% recommend the dress.

Loved this dress! The material is great quality. And it's very comfortable. The only negative thing is that the sleeves are a little big, but it's not too noticeable. I really like the lace cutout on the side!

I ordered this dress for NYE. It was warm enough on a colder night that I didn't freeze. Since I have a larger chest, I had to wear a bandeau bra, which peaked through the lace window on the side, but no one noticed.

I loved loved loved this dress! It is the perfect outfit for a pear shaped girl, it fit like a glove from top to bottom, and I got a ton of compliments. Here are the pros: Great fit // Unique cutout // Stretchy and comfy // Don't need spanks! Cons: Sleeves were a little long so I had to tuck them in // If you are short, this dress might be longer than you want. Final note: I am a size 8 in my pants, and a size S-M up top. I put on the M and it fit well, I tried on the S and it was snug (in the right way). I definitely recommend sizing down if you like a snug fit.

This dress does run large - The L was baggy in the waist and especially arms. The M was more form fitting - And both slightly pooched out around the bottom seam lines. Otherwise the dress looks great on. The black makes it more forgiving - and though other comments warned against not being able to wear tights, I got away with black tights (the lower cut out just looked like it was cut in half) and wearing a normal (tan) bra with my hair down. I wore this to my own holiday party and have never received more compliments on an outfit. When friends invited me to a new years eve party to meet a potential set up they even chimed in "but you have to wear THAT dress". Sad to return.

I am what you would call a size "smedium". The small and medium both fit well but I went with the small since I'm short and the shorter dress elongated my legs a bit.

I normally wear a size M but I ended up going with the S instead. It fit better and wasn't as baggy in the middle. The lace was the perfect detail for a winter wedding and I got so many compliments on the dress. I did wear a strapless bra with it and kept making sure it wasn't showing in the lace but I would've been more comfortable with just stick on cups.

Runs a little large. Definitely size down for a back up. Dress is stretchy and very comfortable. Only thing I didn't like was that the arms aren't fitted even though the material is stretchy. I'm 5'3 and 145 lbs and the Medium fit with room to spare. Received many compliments in this elegant dress!

I ordered the small and medium but ultimately went with the small. Dress fit perfect - not too short or tight - just right. Material was better quality than I was expecting and I was able to wear this dress without a bra - nothing showed through the dress. Would definitely rent again!

So the dress fit great. I got both a medium and a small because I vary between a size 6 and 8. The small was perfect. The fabric is forgiving and the sleeves were a tad big but I totally did not mind because I am not a huge fan of tight sleeves. They weren't noticeably big. Overall the dress was perfect but it is the dress that you have to pull down often. Also a small other negative, the seem is right on the hip which made me look a little wider which I wasn't a huge fan of but screw it!

I loved this dress for date night. Not your average LBD with the lace and cutouts. I typically wear a 2-4 in dresses and I wore the XS. It fit perfect! I have pretty long legs and it wasn't anywhere near too short. Loved it!

I rented both medium and large, unfortunately the medium was a bit to tight and the large was too big.

I got an XS and S, but ended up wearing the XS since it was a bit more flattering than the S. I wish I had known I would be pulling the skirt down all night though, the only "con" of the dress as a whole. I wore a nude strapless bra, and it was perfect. (The S was a touch longer, wasn't quite as fitted, and the arms were baggy.)

Really enjoyed this dress! The material made it flattering for anyone who'd want to wear it. The cutout wasn't too revealing which was nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the sleeves were a little loose and long. If you're thinking of renting it you definitely should!

Rented this for NYE in NYC. As a West Coaster, I was worried about being chilly so I rented a dress with long sleeves. This dress provided more coverage while the lace allowed for a sexy peek a boo effect. The fabric was thick enough that no shape wear was needed. My only complaint was the seam on the hip was a little odd and didn't lay smoothly against my hip.

Liked it, didn't love it. Would go w nude thigh highs next time. Had to keep pulling it down, lace sleeves are loose fitting which I didn't really like. Material was good quality.

I thought this dress ran pretty large, I wore the XS and it was almost too big. It's very comfortable and is a great dress for winter events

I'm wider in the hips but could still wear the small. The fabric is very flattering. Just a warning... Your bra must match your skin tone perfectly or it is noticeable. And no Spanx or tights with the cut outs in this dress. Medium fit as well, was bigger through the arms. I had a baby four months ago, and seriously wish I owned this dress for winter weddings, Christmas parties, etc. Worn to my husband's company Christmas party!

The dress is true to size, so comfortable and fits great. It's so versatile, sexy and classy if it wasn't so expensive I'd buy it for my wardrobe

This dress was my first RTR and I had no idea what to expect. I chose it to wear for my 30th birthday celebration in downtown Seattle. My main worry was that the dress would be a thin, spandex-y material that would show every bump and line. When it arrived, I was so pleasantly surprised to find that the material was a great quality and thick enough to mask flaws, yet it had give to it. When I ordered, I hoped to get both the small and the medium so I could choose the best fit, but the only size available was the medium. It was satisfactory - just a little loose through a few places which may have been a result of many different body types fitting into the same dress. Loved the length! I have long legs and above-the-knee usually ends up looking like street-walker mini on me. Not in this case! The length was short, but not so short that I felt the need to pull it down all the time. The dress is very classy, but has a sexy edge with the subtle lace cutouts. It would be perfect for a wide-range of occasions. My husband liked it so much, he even asked if I could just buy it!

The fit of this dress is snug, so with my hips I needed to use the small. Other than that, though, I love this dress and may rent it again sometime. It was the perfect formal and yet intimate dress that was exactly what I was looking for. Being 5'3" with a short torso I was grateful to find the dress came only just above my knees. I lived wearing this dress.

I ordered this dress for a group Valentine's Day dinner. I thought I would wear the medium based on other reviews, but the medium was way too baggy in the stomach area and had a weird bulge at the hips because of the way the fabric lays. The small was perfect! I loved that it was a classy LBD with a fun twist. The only minus was that the dress did ride up a bit when I walked, but that may have been because I was wearing tights underneath.

The dress was such a nice dress. The arm sleeves were definitely big and the dress runs large as well. Size down. You don't need to wear a bra with this dress which is a plus. The material is thick enough to not show anything. The side cut out was a nice touch and made this dress even cuter. It didn't show too much skin and was tasteful and classy. I paired this dress with the "ELLA CARTER - Alex Earrings" and it was gorgeous. The earrings had a lot of detail but weren't too heavy when you're actually wearing them. Overall, another amazing experience with RTR. :)

This dress was great! Wore it for my birthday dinner date with my husband and got several compliments. The lace added sexiness but was still classy and elegant. It's short but not too much so. It's form fitting in a very flattering way, great for curves. The only thing was that a traditional bra will show through on the lacy shoulder, I wore a strapless which worked, though I had to adjust the dress a few times as the lace cut-out sits high on the waist and rode up my chest a bit but no one could tell (a side effect to having a large bust) - I would rent it again. It's a unique twist on the LBD.

I love everything about this dress. I was worried at first the lacy sleeves would be weird but they were actually the perfect amount of stretchy to not be too tight or too lose. They maintained all night. The fabric of the dress is thick. I wore a stick on bra but you might be able to just go without. The fabric is also soft. Was comfortable all night. Would love to add this dress permanently to my wardrobe!

I usually wear a S, and it fit fine, but the XS fit much better so I went with that. Depends on how tight and short you want it. Definitely order a smaller size as your back-up. The cut-outs on the side and shoulder make wearing a bra tough. You might be able to get away with not wearing a bra at all (though everyone will know when you're cold!) or a nude strapless bra, but I used boob petals and they worked great. My only small complaint is I agree with other reviews that the dress rides up some and I had to pull it down, but it wasn't that big of a problem. Would definitely recommend this dress!

It fit perfectly. I normally wear a size 4'in dresses so I would,say this dress ran big as I wore the XS. I chose that size because of the other reviews stated that it ran a bit big . I would rent it again.

I wore this dress to a fall wedding and it was perfect for the outdoor ceremony! The material is thick and of a high quality without being too hot. Similar to other BCBG dresses, I think this dress runs slightly large as I would normally wear a size small. I was nervous about the side lace cut out but it still is a classy dress and does not show too much skin. Perfect for dancing and didn't ride up like so many other form fitting dresses. I definitely would recommend this dress to anyone!!!

I loved this dress! The M fit perfectly, and had some stretch to it so it was comfortable to wear for a dinner and night out in Vegas! Length was perfect for me. I think I would have liked to wear spanx with this (and maybe felt more comfortable in my own skin), but the lace cut out made that impossible. I did get a lot of compliments - and I will rent this again given the chance!

The dress fit a little big on me but that helped conceal my small tummy. The small would have fit better but there is no way to wear a bra or spanx with the dress due to the cut outs. As always, the dress ran longer than on the model. The dress wasn't actually one I chose as my choice wasn't available at last minute but it ended up working out ok.

This dress is so cute, but unfortunately I didn't get to wear it so it was a wasted rental and money (but that was my fault). I rented it for my schools 8th grade prom but right before the event, I felt it wasn't too appropriate for a teacher to be wearing. A little too sexy for the event. The sleeves are a little loose towards the wrists, but I have big upper arms so it fit perfectly for me. It was tight and form fitting but the material is nice and soft so it's not constricting at all. I wished I could've worn it for a night out.

This dress was perfect for an evening event held on a cool night in NYC. The thickness and long sleeve kept me warm enough without feeling too covered up. The lace inserts made wearing a bra tough. I recommend a black bra with clear straps or a good black strapless.

I am a true size medium. I ordered both the Small and the Med. Med fit, but the small was just tight enough that it sort of worked like spanx. Hot and perfect. The dress did ride up my legs a big when I walked.. meaning, as I walked the hem would creep up. Other than that, it was perfect.

I got a medium and large and ended up wearing the medium. The dress wasn't short or long but the perfect length. The dress stayed down and I wasn't pulling on it all night like some did. The arms were my biggest worry, but they turned out perfect, not too big or too small. There was room to move and get down on the dance floor. The lace on the side was my favorite part and made for a sexy statement. I didn't wear any jewelry because I felt like the dress was enough.
