This dress was perfect! The overall fit was very comfortable & was true to size. I ordered a 6P because I have a bit larger hips and am pretty short. I was able to wear 2inch heels with The dress and a normal bra! I would 100% rent this dress again!

I read a lot of reviews before I decided to rent this dress, and I noticed a girl with the same body type as me said she normally would wear a four but in this dress she was glad she rented the 6L. I did the same thing, because at 5'10" I didn't want to risk the dress being too short. The 6L fit like a glove. I had so many compliments. If you're a tall girl like I am, make sure you wear shorter heels because there isn't a ton of length. I normally wear really tall heels and I had to wear shorter shoes. For my first experience with rent the runway, this was amazing.

At 5'6" I really read a lot of the previous reviews to decide which one to get. I went with the 4R based on other reviews for women with my height, chest size, and weight. I knew with the material it would be tight, and it was. Otherwise the fit was perfect and breathable. Lengthwise I needed to wear flats and it lightly touched the floor, like I wanted. I am sure with the 4L I could've worn small heels. The peplum accent hit me right where it needed to on my hips/waist. Arms were also perfect, not tight. The V-back was a little too low to wear a bra so I wore a sticky bra. Otherwise it would have been a little awkward.

This dress was comfortable and fit in all the right ways. Wore for a formal photo shoot and it was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend.

This dress is very comfortable. It is very forgiving, as if it’s almost made of stretchy material. Very flattering in the mid section and perfect length. Also, it’s rather plain but just enough so you can dress it up if necessary. Highly recommend this dress!

My kids, the ring bearers, would not coordinate for this wedding so I was a stressed mess all day, but damn this dress was amazing. Held tight in all the right places, with flattering neckline and peplum detail. Would love to wear again!

This dress is true navy blue and the peplum was my favorite part about this dress. The fit runs small, I ordered a 4R and 6R, wore the 6 but really was wishing for an 8. I barely got it zipped and it looked tight through the abdomen (even with spanx), but really accentuated the booty. I would have to adjust the alignment often as it would twist when I walked (because it was too tight). The portion below the knees had great twirl-ability for dancing. I would wear this dress again!

I loved this dress! as soon as i put it on, i was so happy! it was very comfortable and fit perfectly. definitely order your true size and one up, either of those should fit. the fabric is a little heavy which was good since i wore this to a winter affair. i received compliments all night and need to find a dress to compare to this for next time, its going to be hard!!

I spoke at a gala- needed to be conservative while still keeping my feminine shape. Recommend this for any age or body type. Def. form fitting but oh so flattering, I am more pear shaped so I think thats why I needed to take the size up. However, I cannot imagine anyone taller than me wearing this as it barely touched the ground without shoes on. My date and I were super concerned it wouldn't look good with a black suit- but with matching accessories we looked great!

So simple for a first time RTR user. Hardest part was deciding on just one dress! I ended up wearing my backup size, which was the 8R with a 3 1/2" heel. The fit was flawless!! Beautiful dark blue fabric....nice alternative from your typical black gown. There was no need to wear spanx..the weight of the fabric helped disguise any flaws. Also, no visible lines from the nubra. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience and would definitely rent again for my next event!

By the end of the night, I didn't want to take this dress off!! At first, I ordered a 0 and a 2, but they were too small so they overnighted me a 4 and it fit perfectly. I loved the way the peplum made me look like I had curves and the shape of the bottom made my butt look great! Fit nicely in the boobs. Wore sandals because it was just long enough.

I LOVED this dress. It was very comfortable. This dress was true to size. I am 5'8" and I ordered the long. I wore heels and on occasion my heel would catch on the gown. This dress was fairly tight on the chest and would probably not be great for people with larger chests.

I rented both the 4R and 6R - the 4 fit fine everywhere except for my chest (which - given my 34F (DDD) chest wasn't surprising) so I went with the 6R and was able to wear it without a bra (for me - a miracle of fashion!). I would absolutely rent this again.

Often a size 0R but the 2R fit perfectly. Comfortable for standing and sitting. Was able to wear a normal bra. Rave reviews!

Okay so the dress was a little tight(my decision, thought it looked better) so it was slightly tough to bend over when I dropped my purse. It is perfect for a slightly chilly night as it is a little heavy, but my night was warm and I had no problem. Never thought renting a dress would go so smoothly as it did.

I ordered both the 4R and 6R thinking the 4R would fit, but it was very tight. I opted for the 6R which was more comfortable to sit in. Fabric was pretty heavy. The dress was perfect for a formal work event.

This dress fit extremely well and I was very comfortable in it, it definitely fits true to size. I'm short so it was a bit longer on me but with the heels I wore, it didn't drag the ground as much. I got many compliments on it and would definitely rent it again! It comes in red also :)

I'm 5'2, so I was worried about it being too long, but with some taller heels it was the perfect length. The zipper was fine and I wore a regular bra.

This is the most gorgeous gown. The fabric is amazing quality - thick and well lined. Color is a gorgeous navy, just like the picture. Wore to a wedding. It's insanely flattering and I got non-stop compliments on it during and after the event. You can wear a bra (#winning) because the straps are just thick enough and the back is low but not too low. DEFINITELY GET A LONG if you are going to wear heels and are a little taller! I also got the 8R because the 6R wasn't available. The bust fit me slightly better on the 8R but it was way too short (like ankle length) and overall the 6L was true to size and I'm glad I went with it. You will not be sorry you rented this gown.

It fit really well in all the right places and the little poplin flare will make every woman feel comfortable. I wore 3" heels so the length was perfect for my 5'3" frame. I received several compliments through out the night . This was my second time renting this dress, the time before I rented the red one and it was wonderful as well. i would recommend to anyone for the formal, classic style .

Very pretty dress. The length was perfect for me, but if you're taller than 5'4 I would recommend ordering a Long if you plan to wear heels. Fit was a little snug especially after eating. If you're in between sizes, size up, Also the color is more navy than blue in person.

I decided to use this pic above all others because it shows the detail of the dress. I was very unsure about choosing this gown because the color differed from one review to another. The color is a light navy. The peplum and mermaid shape are figure flattering but also gave me an hour glass shape! This dress was my back up but I loved it more than the others sent. However size up for your second size! I am 5'6" and the long was a perfect length with heels.

This dress was perfect for a winter black tie wedding. The color is a pretty true navy and was a great "break" from the sea of black dresses. I got a regular, and at around 5'5" could have gotten a long to wear with higher heels. I wore around 1" - 1 1/2" inch wedges and it worked. It does, however, run a little small. I'm normally a 0 or 2comfortably in BCBG and the 2 in this dress was a little snug in the hips. I would have liked to have tried on the 4 just to see if it would have allowed a little more room in the hips to dance. Otherwise, great dress that I would definitely rent again!

I usually wear 8s in pants/dresses, and this pretty much fit perfectly. I'm only 5'5 - but based on previous experience with RTR I went with an 8L. The 8L just hit the floor with 2 inch heels. I have suuuper wide hips and big boobs, and this dress made me feel completely comfortable. I wish it was available in the red that weekend - but I really have no complaints :) I will say that the color in the picture isn't exactly the color that I expected. It was slightly darker in person. Would definitely recommend!

Zipper was tough to get up but overall it was a comfortable, beautiful dress. The fabric was a bit heavy.

I rented this dress for a black tie wedding in October, I run between a 4-6 in dresses usually, the 6R fit great but a little snug. I would have liked to have tried on the 8R just for comparison. I can't imagine it would work really well for larger busted ladies, I'm a 34C and it was pretty tight in the chest. It was just a tad long for me at 5'4", but with heels on it was fine. Overall it was super flattering for my lack of curves, the peplum was adorable. The fabric also has a nice little bit of stretch which made it much more comfortable. Lots of compliments on it, super classy!

The dress has a gorgeous fit -- it's incredibly flattering (the peplum hides any lower-tummy curves). I will say that the skirt is tight (although amazingly flattering), so if you're gifted in the thigh and butt department, be aware that it may be tight, but looks awesome. I'm usually between a 4 or a 6, and often times the size up will fit my bottom half and be too loose on top. However I sized up and it was perfect: the top still fit amazingly well!
