Absolutely amazing dress! So much fun to wear -- perfect combination of formal yet sexy. It is worth noting that the color is navy, not black.

This dress fits true to size. It is a little short but with the sheer train it works perfectly. The dress is actually more blue in person. I had to steam this dress a great deal because of all of the tulle but it was well worth it!! Made me feel like the belle of the ball!!!

I normally am a size two but the 2R was unavailable so we got the 0 & the 4. The 0 fit perfectly on me. It wasn't too tight and i didn't feel like it looked too tight or anything. I was skeptical about the tulle but it really pulled the dress together. I got compliments all night. So happy with all the prom pictures!

The dress came in the day before my event. When I tried it on, the dress was stunning. The fit was almost perfect. If you have a small bust, the dress is going to be a tad loose in that area, but the fashion tape made the problem disappear. Trust me, if you wear this dress, you'll get tons of compliments. I wore 3 inch heels with the dress and it was still long enough to barely glide on the floor. I highly recommend this dress to anyone who wants to look fun and elegant at the same time.

Train was a little long for me

I rented this dress for a black-tie NYE's celebration and loved it! Although mid-thigh length in the front (not quite as "mini" in front on me as model), the length in the back is *very* long (model is obviously VERY tall)... so with my 5'3" ht, I had to rock a 4.5+inch platform heel in an attempt to lift the back edge off the ground. And even then, as you can see in the photos I didn't quite accomplish that lift very well. Makes dancing/stepping backwards a little challenging (be aware).... you can't pull up the back too much because of the short front, but the look is edgy & amazing! I almost wish there was a low bustle option for the back, which definitely would have helped. (Attention designers!!) :) It is a tulle overlay and open in front, so length can't be folded under or otherwise rigged with tape. The color of the dress is a gorgeous deep navy blue - (not black). I wore black/silver mirror-edged peep toe platform heels - which you can't see in the photos, but the black did work. The sequin design (silver/deep blue/black) on the front of the dress really pops in person AND in photos. And the dress was quite comfortable to wear. If you are looking for a unique dress for a formal event and want a little edge to that look, you will feel like a star in this one!

The fit was perfect and very flattering to my curves. I love the length in the back, but make sure you have a nice size heel to avoid any dragging or stepping on it. Thankfully, I was fine but I read a few reviews where tape was needed. I love the overall sexy, yet classy appeal of this dress. I felt covered, still it showed off my figure and the length being short and long offered the best of both worlds. The dress gave great support to my bust with or without a strapless (though I wore one anyway). I would definitely order this again. L O V E D it!

I rented this dress for a ball, and got plenty of compliments at the occasion! It is very elegant (obviously from the back), but it also shows some liveliness because of its dress-like feature in the front. I highly recommend this dress (and a pair of nude-color heels)!

I felt like a princess as soon as I put this dress on! I got compliments all night. Random people at the restaurant would come up to me and tell me it was their favorite dress of the night. It was definitely unique, and I knew that no one else was wearing it, which I loved. Overall, great fit. It zipped up and held me in but didn't kill me. I got it in a 0 and it was true to size. I was worried the length wouldn't be right but it was perfect. A nice bonus was that RTR sent me a jumbo sample of EOS Shaving Cream and I used it that day! It was just so perfect. It felt like I had borrowed a dress from a friend. I was very sad to send it back but can't wait to order another one soon!

I rented this dress for my boyfriend's prom and it was the best decision I've ever made! I was worried about the length of the dress but I wore pair of three inch heels and worked out great. The dress fits me like a glove and everyone was telling how they liked the dress and I heard whispers as well "omgosh I love her dress". The dress will show your strapless bra just a little, it can be easily fix with the double sided tape they provide you. For those of you who are concern with the color, it's navy blue.

I wore this to a Beaux Arts Ball that was 1920's in Paris themed. I didn't want to be completely in the role, so I found this a refreshing, sexy take on the time period!

I love how I could rent an extra size for free just in case! I loved the color and the cutout to show some leg in the front! My first of many rentals!

When the dresses (size 2 and 4) arrived, the 4 still had some fashion tape left on it from the last user. Not the most terrible thing, but not the best, either. I went to a black tie function for a fraternity in this dress. I got major compliments from any brother who saw me wearing it--and all my sorority sisters fell in love with it. With the right statement jewelry and shoes, this is one sexy, sexy dress worth renting. My best friend loved it so much she wanted to put it on before going to the grocery store (didn't happen). I got the size 2 and it was a little snug. If I wanted to I could have easily worn the 4 because there was a bit more room, but there was hardly a difference in the way they looked on me... So I took the smaller size (what girl wouldn't?). I have a shorter torso and longer legs, so my long legs worked in my favor. I'm 5'5 and wore 6inch heels. The fit specialist suggested for me to not wear the 6" heels because the dress would look too short--but the tulle is around an inch longer than the rest of the dress, so it worked out perfectly. I used a plan black clutch because some of the sequins on the dress are black. (The sequins are in groups of silver, pewter, navy blue, and black. They sometimes get caught onto each other when handling the dress, so be careful.) The tulle that falls over the shoulder is more dramatic and full than what you see in the picture, so the dress is a bit more one-shoulder-covering than you'd expect--and it makes the dress look even better, actually. Because of the low cut in the back, i had to pull my bra down, but it would have been better (and smarter) for me to just not even wear one (I'm a 32A). Because I couldn't exactly fill out the bust of the dress, the cinched waste left the tulle/sequin overlay a bit crinkled where the boning ended, but it didn't seem all that noticeable. By the end of the night, I was sad to take the dress off and wished I had gotten more pictures in it. So, if you get this dress, TAKE PICTURES. You're gonna want 'em and you're gonna love 'em.

The dress runs a little large. I wore the 0, but I typically wear a 2. Always call the fit specialists. She nailed my size on the head, even though I doubted her. The size 2 back-up swam on my hips.

This dress was amazing, as it accented my tiny waist, while leaving room for my larger behind to fit in it. I had so many compliments, it made the night that much more fun. The only issue I had was the strap was large on my shoulder, but I pinned it and there was no issue.

I got this dress because I got an invitation to a black tie optional wedding and couldn't decide between a short and a long dress. This dress was a hit the whole night! It was super fun and the color was beautiful in person. I will say that the front that is short...is really short, especially when you sit down, so if you are worried about that you might want to order a larger size. Overall, this dress was a win and was very pretty. So many compliments!

I tried both dresses on 3 times before deciding which to wear. I ended up going with the 8R because the bust area in the 10R was way to big for me. Other than that, it really would have been a great fit. The 8R was kind of snug but I had no choice. When I sat down the dress rode all the way up...I mean all the way. I had a shawl to cover myself with though so I was able to take care of that. I'm really glad RTR sent the fabric tape because it came in handy. I used it to tape the dress down along the bust area of the sleeveless side.

I originally rented another dress for NYE but found out that the UPS delivery date had been scheduled for January 2nd. I immediately sent an email to RTR & they overnighted me this dress. I'm short and even with the 4.5 inch heels that I wore I found that I still had to hold one side of the dress up to prevent it from dragging on the floor. I also used a little fashion tape to help hold the top up, but that was more for security than necessity. This was my first rental & a "trial" at that since my husband wasn't totally sold on the RTR idea. However, he was extremely happy with the dress so I guess this is the first of many rentals.

I didn't end up wearing this dress, I was told by friends and my boyfriend that it was a "little too much" for the wedding we were attending. So the only wear it got was me going outside and taking a photo with it on. :\

This dress was awesome. Not only did it fit true to size, but the sparkles on the dress were just the right amount. The train made the dress elegant, while the front was the perfect length for dancing on the floor. SO many people complimented me on the awesome concept of the dress.

This dress isn't made for full bust women. Even with all the proper undergarments it didn't work for me. If you have a smaller bust, go for it! It's a ton of fun!

I didn't wear it the day I rented it but I plan on wearing it at an upcoming christening party so I re-rented it again.

This fit absolutely perfectly. If you look at the sizing guidelines, it is true to the fit. I will definitely rent again!

I rented this dress on short noticed for my daughter's boyfriends' prom. The dress was absolutely flattering on. Lot's of compliments wearing this number..

Wow... I was looking for a dress that did not make me look like I walked out of a Prom Dress store and it certainly was awesome. It fit really well, looked really awesome, and I got endless compliments on the night of prom! I love the tulle - it makes it flow and completes the entire look. I am a bit short (5'4") and wore quite the heels (perhaps 4") and the dress *just* missed the ground, however, I had to be very careful on the dance floor! Otherwise, it is perfect! Did I mention it was just my first time renting? Everything was amazing, thanks RTR! Can't wait to rent again!

I really loved this dress, super elegant. It was a little tight in the hips so I had to go up a size, it's not stretchy. Got a million compliments.

The dress did not disappoint! It is gorgeous and beautiful! I wore it to homecoming and was the only girl who had on a different dress from the others! The oval cut in the front is NOT as short as appears and being a self conscience girl did not feel like I was "showing to much!" I am a 36C bust wise an the dress fit perfect! Order without hesitation and be the talk of the town!

I found that this was a good fit at size 8. It is NAVY though. I thought it was black. Wore it anyway and got many compliments. The material is a bit stiff and not as luxe as I would expect from an expensive dress. Overall a good rental and a very different dress that definitely stands out from the crowd.

Man I LOVED this dress! I ordered an 8 and I needed a back up size of a 6 but they didn't have any available. The 8 was too big in the bust and it cut way lower than I thought it would around the side opposite the one with the shoulder strap. I was not able to wear it because it was too large and I should have gotten a 6. The dress itself is beautiful though, the sequins are perfectly arranged so they are not too much and the cut in the front is very unique. ALSO the dress is NAVY! It is much more blue than in this photo trust me!! If you rent it make sure you know that it is not black! The tulle was pretty as well but like I said, I am a 34C and a size 8 and it was too bit up top!

I rented this for my BD Party. Normally I wear size 2, but there were no size 2, so I rented 4 (0 as a backup). Well, 0 I could not even close the zipper ;-). Size 4 did fit me well, however I am a petite person (5'3) and the dress is not petite, so length was a bit of a problem. I offset it with high heels. Anyhooo...this is a spectacular derss, very flirty, attracts attention, provokes complements. Enjoy!

I actually found this dress a year ago when I was looking for a pageant/prom dress, but I decided to go with another. This year, I needed another gown to hand off a pageant crown, so I was really excited when I found this one on RTR! It's a beautiful gown that's modern and edgy and classy all at the same time. The only issue I had with this dress is that it's pretty straight, and as a girl with a small waist and wider hips, it was kinda loose in the waist. I think that it would work best on an athletic body type. But still, I loved it and got lots of compliments! I would definitely recommend this dress if you want to feel trendy and hot!

This dress felt a little flimsy on. Although well-made enough, it was more prom-like than black tie affair-like. The fit was fine, but it was not particlarly flattering on me.

She loved the design of the gown, but wasn't to pleased with the fitting. I think its a beautiful dress, it is just very important to order the right size, in order for it to be very flattering.

Front is very short, I am 5'8" and wore 3" heels, the front is very short. My husband and mother were not super pleased lol but everyone else said I looked great!

This is a beautiful dress but it runs large. It is not form fitting as I would have liked and I didnt have that wow feel when I wore it. Maybe it would be better for someone that have a fuller bust than I do.

It is a lovely dress, but similar to what Lili said above - the bust is cut a bit lower then is comfortable for me. The dress is a really nice navy color - so if you expecting black... be aware!

I asked stylist if my 36D bust would be an issue in this dress. I normally wear a 4. She assured me it would not be an issue. I ordered the 4 & 6 as a backup. The six would not zip around my bust. It's a beautiful dress, but I don't recommend it if you have a large bust.
