The dress definitely runs large. I typically always wear size 6 in dresses and for some reason in this style I wore the size 2 and probably could've worn smaller - it was still a little bit loose. Overall it was a beautiful dress! It's very light weight, fun to wear and perfect for a hot summer wedding. So fun to dance in. Like the other reviews said; make sure you have a good strapless bra nude color would be best!

Both 4 and 6 fit great - but the 4 was a bit tight in the hips. I wore the 6 to be comfortable, but the 4 wasn't uncomfortable and the tightness was just in the slip. It's such an easy dress to wear - a no brainer in the best way. I WILL rent this dress again. It's light, airy and so gorgeous . On the walk from church to brunch several random passersby were commenting on the dress and how great I looked - even the sweet doorman at the hotel! Couldn't have asked for a better dress!

Fit is very forgivable to those blessed with a coke bottle body. Wear with a strapless dress and wait for the complements to roll in.

Since all the other reviewers had warned of the sheerness issue with this dress, i was prepared w/a plunging camisole that worked perfectly to hide my undergarments, while not detracting from the actual dress. it is very comfortable and the waist is flattering and forgiving. overall a great dress!

It is a bit of an odd length. Right below the knee, but very classy and flowing. I had a great time dancing in it all night and the material was cool, perfect for a hot day.

The color was perfect for an early summer wedding in Portland. The waist is elastic so it's forgiving. And the pleating made for a gorgeous effect web my husband twirled me! I got compliments all night. I'm in between a 4-6 usually, but ordered the 2 and 4 due to reviews. But the smaller size was the only one RTR had and thankfully it fit perfectly! The only drawback is the front is sheer. Even using a strapless bra is made difficult by the low cut. I used a plunging strapless, but had to use double sided sticky tape like others suggested. This kept the girls well hidden. Would definitely rent this again.

I am usually a size 6 but the 4 fit perfectly. Also the front is shear so it was difficult to find the right bra but so worth it!

This dress is so versatile and pretty. I received SOOOOO many compliments on this fresh new look. The skirt is flowey and fun and the fabric is gorgeous. Now for the best part, the dress has an elastic waist making it extremely comfy....best invention for weddings and events where you need expandable wear because of all the goodies and cocktails! Be sure to have a nice nude colored bra that blends to your skin color, as the tulle in the neckline part is sheer and you can kind of see through. Anyway, very comfy and classy, and travels well. I would rent it again!

I loved wearing this dress at a friend's springtime wedding, and I'd rent it again in a heartbeat.The pastel colors really popped against my skin tone. Since the bottom of the mesh cutout in the front hits kind of low on the chest, I didn't have a bra I could wear with the dress. So I went bra-less (with low beam nipple covers) and didn't have any issues. My only complaint is that the elastic waistband on the dress was a little stretched out from a precious renter. It wasn't a big issue, but I definitely noticed signs of wear. The size 0 (my normal size) fit like a dream, so I didn't even try on the backup size (2).

This dress is so unique, stylish and comfortable at the same time. The colors are vibrant and it's perfect for Spring. It fits a little large, so if you're between 2 sizes I would go with the smaller one. I also needed to wear a cami underneath because the top is shear, but it ended up looking like it was part of the dress and was not an issue at all. It gives a great silhouette with the fitted waistline, but is so comfortable that it feels like you're wearing a nightgown. I received several complements and highly recommend this dress!

The Dress has an elastic waist and was extremely comfortable. I felt sexy yet classy, confident, and modern with an edge! Perfect for curvy girls, busty girls, hourglass shapes, all sizes and made a flattering shape. So many people complemented me on the dress! It's great for spring/summer weddings and parties. Received so many compliments on this dress. I usually wear a 6 and didn't even try that size on because the 4 was a alittle big. This dress has an elastic waste so the size 2 would have prob been fine. Also I would wear a beige Cami underneath. The top is see thru and this was a little inappropriate for my dads wedding lol! Perfect to dance in too ;)

The bust fit is an issue - bigger than expected and the fabric narrowly covers all your bits. Make sure to have a good bra - I still played with the bust area a lot because I kept thinking that my bra was showing through. I did really like the color though.

This dress was perfect for a sunny California wedding by the ocean. I received so many compliments and truly felt like a vision in yellow! Unfortunately, the dress runs rather large, so it needed to be pined and taped to my frame. Overall though, best dress I've rented so far!!

I love this dress. The design is gorgeous. It was hard to find the right bra, but I was lucky to find a lace bandeaux that looked like it was part of the dress. It was confortable and it doesn't wrinkle which is a plus when you have to travel.

First and most importantly: LADIES, YOU MUST OWN A NUDE STRAPLESS BRA TO WEAR THIS DRESS. In case you can't tell from the images, the ~V~ line at the chest between the yellow and beige is transparent and very low cut. Aside from the transparent neckline details, this dress is very conservative: high neckline and long hem. The length didn't do me any favours (I am 5'10 and this dress managed to make my legs look short) but everything else about this dress is wonderful. The pleated chiffon feels amazing on a breezy summer day and is really fun to dance in. The yellow is incredibly bright in the sun, much more neon than it appears in my pictures. I wore this dress to a wedding, where I felt elegant and unique, without stealing attention from the bride!

The colors of this dress are sooo beautiful. I loved the pleating & the length. It was fun to wear BUT the bra situation was a real PAIN. You need a NUDE PLUNGING STRAPPLESS BRA or perky boobs & pasties, which I do not have. I was forced to buy a stick on one from VS that was Ill fitting as well. Since I ordered the size 2 due to the inconsistent sizing on this dress. The slip part was too short. So I needed some booty shorts, just in case, also nude. It would be nice if RTR had undergarment suggestions as well… cause running around the day before to find the correct fit/size undergarment is not ok. I am 5’5 130lbs and bra size 36B.

With the see through cut out running along the top of the bra line and the stretchy oversized nature of the dress, you are best advised to wear a nude spandex body suit, body skimming tube too, or tank top underneath the dress with a well fitting nude bra. I scrambled and made do with not quite the right underpinnings but could have been even better with the right stuff. Dress fits very generously. I could have worn the size 4 but went with size 6 for slightly more dress length. Normally feel most comfortable in a size 8 dress.

This dress was so lovely, light and delicate. Modern in a way that still evokes that all too fanciful flapper era. I was originally planning to wear the size 6, but based on the reviews that it ran large and the elastic waistband, the 4 actually fit better (well, at least I think it did since I wasn't able to get the size 6 sent to me in time). I will say that though the top was forgiving in fit, I was looking for a dress that could comfortably adjust to a C/D, it wasn't very flattering for the top heavy in two ways. The first is that the white deep v is really sheer (aka see through) perhaps more so by expansion. I remedied this with a nude convertible shape-wear cami where the straps could be exchanged to clear ones. That actually worked well. The second is that it would bunch up in a rather off putting way messing with the symmetry and adding bulk where it was not needed. Perhaps this could be remedied with fashion tape, but I just didn't have the patience. Ultimately, I wore another dress as I didn't want to spend the whole night adjusting and fidgeting. All That being said, if I didn't have an amazing back up (THANK YOU RTR), I would have worn it with delight,

The dress itself is beautiful and lightweight. The fit wasn't very good on me. I could have used a smaller size. The top was very big and the sheer part on the chest made it near impossible to keep my strapless bra from showing. I was not prepared with fashion tape. It made for a frustrating evening. Overall I liked the dress but needed different undergarments for the top of the dress.

Great dress, cute, different color for summer! However, the sheer part was not advertised well... MUST wear bando bra with this dress and even that dudbt make the top look perfect. Also, I wore the zero and it was big.

I rented this for a summer evening weather. The dress that I got was a bit worn in the waist. The waistband is like a thick piece of elastic and mine was stretched out/worn. I opted to wear a nude tank top under this dress because it did run large and the top is truly sheer. Despite the wear and extra steps I needed to take to make this dress wedding appropriate, this dress has been one of my favorite RTR outfits thus far! I paired with teal shoes and got so many compliments through out the night.

My friend decided instead of bridemaids to have 10 of her closest friends to come to the pre-wedding festivities and photos and requested us all to wear color. I opted for this tan and yellow number and it was perfect. The length on my 5'5" frame was midi and very feminine. The fit was a bit big but not in an overpowering way. It was really comfortable. the it photographed great! The one surprise was that the top had a sheer layer right above the chest which you could see me nude bra through. I used fashion tape to keep it in place where i wanted it.

Pros: great fit and very flattering on my post partum body. Also, the fabric is very light and was cool for a Memphis summer wedding. Cons: very see through. Like, I see your underwear see through. I ended up wearing a nude tank top over my nude bra and nude spanx. I had to tighten up the tank strap until it wouldn't tighten anymore to cover up any areas that would show through the sheer plunging neckline area. In the end everything worked out and the dress is absolutely lovely.

I am in LOVE with this retro feeling dress. People kept saying "THAT DRESS!" so amazing!! It was nice to stand out with a fun citrus color! The top is completely sheer. I knew this prior to renting, so I purchase a nude camisole/ bodysuit to wear underneath. It worked perfectly. I ordered a size 6 and 4 as a backup. ( I am normally a 6-8) The 4 fit, but the slip underneath barely covered my bottom, so I went with the 6. It runs large but not so much that is didn't fit. It's not supposed to be tight. But I would suggest sizing at least 1 size down when ordering.. So, so happy with my choice!!

Awesome dress! Runs a little big and they did not have my back-up size available, so I was freaking out a little as the date was approaching. I ended up wearing a size 8 and it fit okay. It was a little big in the back (I could have worn a 6). I would never even pick up a size 6 dress at a regular store, so this was a surprise. You NEED a good, nude, strapless bra and get ready to show some boob. Classy boob, but boob none the less. Over all, I received so many compliments on the dress. Everyone asked where I got it and it! I wish I could keep this one..

I wore this dress on my birthday. It is very forgiving, it looks great especially when you walk, and I got compliments from strangers. I thought I'd share some points that also helped me decide on sizing etc. Main points: - This dress runs very large. I am a size 6. Thanks to the previous reviewers, I went one size down and also ordered the size 2 for back up. I ended up wearing the size 2, which was still quite roomy. - There's a tulle band on the top that makes the dress transparent. Be prepared to wear a strapless bra/bustier/top underneath, depending on how modest you want to go. Pros: - Loved the design and the color. - The dress was moving beautifully. - It was very forgiving even when I went 2 sizes down (I have a pear/hourglass figure - the profile won't update). - The tulle on the bottom adds a whimsical touch. Cons: - The lining of the dress is ridiculously short. I had to wear my own on top of it, but it would create bulges in places. It was ok for me as I spent most of the night sitting but I don't know how fun it'd be to have to adjust it all the time if, e.g. I was going dancing. If this dress were mine, I'd remove its own lining wear it with my own undergarment. - Even though I'm busty (34D - the profile won't update), and the dress was size 2, it was still very roomy and gaped weirdly when sitting. This in addition to the sheer panel of the top makes it a less modest option for those who sit across of you. - The particular dress I was sent was pretty worn off: the pleats of the bottom had deteriorated (were hardly visible) and the waist band was worn off in some places. It was fine for the occasion I needed it but maybe not for a much more formal one. Overall I really enjoyed wearing it and would recommend it for similar laid back occasions.

This is a very pretty dress that is incredibly girly and fun! I rented it for a polo match and wore it with blue suede heels. It was so beautiful and the flow of the dress was perfect. I loved it! However, it runs a little big so the elastic around the waste was a bit too big so I would recommend maybe ordering a size or two smaller than you normally wear. Overall a lively and spirited dress perfect for polo!

I rented this for a wedding with a rural/country theme. I paired this with boots and a hat and it looked great. It was really comfortable and it was so much fun to dance in! It runs huge. I wore two sizes down from what I usually wear. The top actually would have fit better in a size two, but the lining on the bottom never would have got over my hips. Here are a few things to know when renting this: 1) The top is sheer. I wore a nude cami underneath and didn't have an issue. 2) The lining on the bottom was tight on me and it's pretty short compared to the actual skirt. It kept riding up. I wore some beige shape wear underneath and that worked fine. 3) Water spots will show on this fabric! Careful about leaning up against the sink!

I followed the advice of other renters, and ordered two sizes down from my usual (normally an 8, very rarely a 6). The dress was very pretty and comfortable, but it was absolutely huge. I didn't think it was realistic to order a 2 as a backup size, but I wish I would have. It seemed like the tan elastic that runs around the waistline of this dress was really loose and stretched out (worn out) which kept it from keeping its shape. I ended up wearing a belt and boots with the dress, luckily it was a small autumn wedding so I could dress it down a bit without it being too weird.

love love this dress, i wish i owned this dress, i wore this to a hot august wedding and it was so light and airy, the pleats moved so beautifully in the wind and while walking, loved the color combo, so unique and different, i was worried about the length being only 5'2" however i thought it was perfect among a bunch of shorter dresses, hit me about mid calf. also the bra issue is an issue, i ended up wearing a halter top undergarment type thing which i did have to keep adjusting, but no big deal. This dress runs BIG, i usually wear a size 6, ordered a 4 based on reviews and i honestly could of wore a 2, called and it wasn't available, no biggie the 4 worked, it was also very baggy in the bust, you couldn't tell while standing but when you sat it puffed out, again not a big deal, still loved it

I absolutely loved this dress! It was so much fun to dance in and perfect for a wedding in a castle! It runs VERY large. I typically wear an 8 in pants, 6/8 in dresses and I went with the 4 in this dress. I'm also a 34DDD and felt the top was actually a little large and stretched a bit throughout the evening. It's also sheer on top, but if you wear a nude strapless bra you're good to go!

This dress is super cute. However, it runs HUGE. I am normally a 4, they only had a 2 and I saw it ran big so I figured I'd be ok( also out of the zero) it was soooooo big and loose up top no mater what I did my strapless bra was showing. I had to use tape to try and keep it in place and the fabric would bunch of because of it. Not super noticeable but still. Prob my least favorite rental, might have been better if they had a zero!

Beautiful dress- the colors are gorgeous. I probably had 10 different complements on the dress. The dress has no zipper and is pulled over the head. Therefore, the only thing defining your shape is the elastic waistband. Consider going one size down. Your bra will show if it is a strapless, so you may want to wear the lovely sticky cups :)
