I agree with all the other ladies, the bottom fits tight and the top is loose. I usually wear a dress size 6. I ordered an 8 & a 10 in this dress. The 8 zipped up and the top was perfect but I could barely sit. I ended up wearing the 10, the top being a bit loose didn't end up bothering me. Everyone said I looked like a model! I wore it to a wedding and even the catering staff were commenting on it!

This was my first RTR experience and I was very pleased with the quality and ease of renting! I wore this dress on NYE. I ordered sizes 4 and 8 (size 6 was not available). I ended up wearing the size 8 because the 4 was too snug. I definitely agree with the other reviewers in runs small. I happened to have pumps in the exact same color of the dress and wore those. The dress is flattering.

This dress fits perfect, true to size and it does not stretch. I am really curvy, I'm usually a size 2 or 4, I got to wear size 4 and it fit like a glove on my body. I had soooo many great compliments about this dress. Loved it ! I wore it for a formal beach wedding in the caribbean ... it was perfect !

I am normally a size 4, but if I wanted the dress to fit like it does in the picture I would have needed a size 6. My dress was tight around the waist, hips, and thighs, but loose at the chest (I am a 34B). Minus the looseness up top, I LOVED the dress and got a ton of compliments.

The color of the dress is much prettier in person and it also has a shimmer to it, very fun. The ribbons do help hide imperfections but I still found spanx helpful. I did find that because it doesn't give much, it wasn't very flattering for a larger chest so I wore a wrap to disguise it.

This dress was great, except that I am small chested and the bust was way too big. Make sure to buy double sided tape!!! I got a lot of compliments on the dress at the wedding I attended.

This dress does run just a bit small, and since it doesn't stretch at all, size up for a backup. I didn't have an issue with a gap at the underarm, but the dress was plenty snug. Fabric is a bit greyer in person. I wore it to a classy but relatively low-key wedding in Las Vegas with metallic shoes. Got tons of compliments and would rent it again.

This is a beautiful dress and I am a regular at BCBG because the dresses fit me so perfectly. However, this dress fits very odd. The bodice is very tight but the boob area by the arpmit (side without the strap) is huge but the other side with the strap is tight. It was like this in both the size 2 and 4 so it is part of the dress. I have a pear/hourglass figure with 34B and I would need to have a size D on only the left side for this to fit where you werent looking down the dress. So sad because its beautfil otherwise.

This dress is beautiful in person but unfortuantely not fit for me. I ordered a 2 & 4 and none fit. If you have even a slight of a curve this is not the dress for you, more for a straight & narrow. It does not strech and it is way too tight. Disappointed and a waste of my $$

great color and proportionate fit, but the dress is made from a ribbon-like fabric with zero stretch. It is thick enough to skim the body without highlighting lumps and bumps, but if you are hippy-busty-anything not standard size, I'd avoid this. It fit me, but its not an easy cut. Beautiful color though.

This dress was absolutely perfect. It did fit loose on top, but with the right bra it wasn't noticeable. I wore it to a wedding and I received a ton of compliments. Overall a great dress and I would definitely rent it again.

I wore this dress for a birthday party. I received dozens of complements. I am petite yet curvy and this fit well with a strapless bra. I used the size 2 to have it more form fitting, but the size 4 would have looked more loose like how it is shown on the model on the left. I was very happy with the rental. My only complaint and why it was not 5 stars is that it did have an odor like it was not completely cleaned when I received it. It did have tags on it like it was dry cleaned so I am not sure why. After deodorant and perfume it was not noticeable and unfortunately I did not have time to send it back to ask for another one. I still wore it and had a great time, but will make sure I have an extra day just in case this happens again!

I usually wear a size 8 so I rented an 8 with a 10 backup - but it was so difficult to get either of them up over my hips! Even if I ordered up another size, the bust area would not have fit as it has a standard length from shoulder to bust. If you're curvy and/or petite this probably isn't for you, I'd recommend this dress for taller, narrow body types. It was beautiful though, just couldn't wear it.

I usually wear a size 8-10, but other reviews stated this dress ran small so I ordered a 10 and backup size 12. I could not even zip up the 10! I could zip up the 12 but the dress was large in the bust area under the armpit and I would have been falling out of it all night if I had chose to wear it. Also the dress bunches in areas especially around the zip of the dress. Otherwise, it was a beautiful color and the dress came in the mail right away. I would recommend for small girls with larger busts.

Dress is beautiful but I wasn't happy with the fit. It definitely runs a size small-- I'm usually a 2 or 4 and the 4 in this dress was way too tight. The fabric doesn't have a lot of stretch to it so it crushes curves in rather than accentuating them. Maybe it's better for someone with a straight figure.

I did not end up wearing this dress and was super thankful I had ordered another to go along with it. The dress does not move at all and was very constricting. If you were planning an event where you just stood like a super model and didn't have to move - it'd be perf. It was very flattering, but not for dancing at a wedding.

I LOVED this dress on the site, but the dress was way too small with too little stretch when the dress arrived. Sadly, I wasn't able to wear it.
