Was long for my midget self but wore with 6 in heals. Loved dress overall

tried 8R but was too long, I am 5'3'' 8P was perfect length.

I wore a size 6R, but, I probably could have worn this dress just one size smaller for a tighter more snug fit, but, I am not at all complaining! LOVED THIS DRESS and Rent The Runway's rental process! The dress made me feel like I was a Runway Model on the red carpet! The worst part about this dress was that it was a rental that I had to return.

The dress is comfortable and fit very very well on my waist, torso, and hips. The only problem was that it was long for me. I was able to use double side tape to hold the excess of fabric. I received complements all night long . I felt gorgeous and felt sad to take it off .

I've gained around 10 pounds in the last year and so I'm in between sizes right now. I normally wear a size 6, but I didn't want to be stuck with a dress that didn't fit so I ordered a 6R and an 8R. The 6R fit, but it felt a bit snug in the hips so I decided to wear the 8R to be more comfortable. My upper body is thinner though so the back part was a bit lose, however, I never felt like it was slipping and never had to adjust it. I was even playing pool and bending and stretching everywhere and it never budged! I hold my weight in my hips, thighs and butt, but the dress balanced my body well because of the shape of the sleeves and the fact that the bottom is shear. I am a little over 5'4" so it's always hard figuring out regular vs. petite because sometimes regular is too long and sometimes petite is too short. Based on other reviews, I ordered the Regular and it was the perfect length with heels! I loved it and my husband loved it so much that I was really close to purchasing it. My husband said he noticed heads turning when I would walk by. Maybe next time I'll end up buying it as I will definitely be wearing it again! Highly recommended! Especially if you're not one to show too much skin. It was sexy without being too in your face.

I rented this dress for a wedding. I chose the long fit and wore 4 inch heels...length was perfect! It was an amazing dress. Comfortable. Makes you feel gorgeous. Loved it!

A little side boob, but other than that, true to size! Very comfortable!

THE FIT WAS GREAT EXCEPT I HAD TO PUT DOUBLE SIDED TAPE UNDERNEATH HER BUST AREA BECAUSE SHE IS BUSTY WITH A VERY SMALL WAIST SO THE DRESS WOULD LIFT A LITTLE IN THAT AREA. OTHERWISE IT FIT PERFECT.

It fit perfectly. I'm usually a 4 and I fit into a 4. I ordered the 6 just in case but I didn't even need to try it on. It was a little long, but I wore really high heels. I wore this to my senior formal for college. Definitely one of my best decisions!

I am tall 5'11 and have a big booty. This dress is perfect and hugged all the right places. I would have like to wear the 8 but they only had 8R which was too short. So I went with the 10L. The 10 fit my booty great and the length was amazing for me (tall + 3in heels) but was a little looser around the bust. Overall, still good!! If you are tall definitely get the long. Great dress very slimming looks so hot you'll get lots of compliments

I have never used RTR before and also have never worn a long dress so this was an amazing experience! My boyfriend loved the dress and begged me to buy it haha! Would absolutely wear again! I have a large chest so I did not wear a bra but it all turned out very well :)!

Dress was a showstopper! I received compliments all night long. I'm a 34C and I had no side boob issues. I usually wear an 8, but although it fit like a glove, the straps squeezed my back when I sat down, so it caused the skin to bulge out in a not-so-sexy way. The 10 fit a little looser, but the back was perfect. The long is very long, so be careful. I'm 5'5" and wore 4" heels...I was stepping on it all night.

The cutouts on this dress are sexy and flattering. You can't wear a bra with it, but I'm smaller chested so I didn't have a problem with support or side boob. The dress was a bit tight in the shoulders when I raised my arms, but it wasn't uncomfortable. I alternated between 3-inch heels and flats--I wasn't tripping on the dress in flats but the length worked on me (5'9") in heels as well.

this is perfect for a formal event

I felt amazing in this and I got compliments all night. I wore this for my law school barrister's ball, the dress was sexy but still appropriate. It was tight but in a good way, and fit really well (even though I have quite a big booty). I had a little bit of an underboob problem, which ruined some of my pictures, but thats my only complaint about the dress.

Fit was true to size, and I didn't need a bra. Pros were that I was able to dance and move around in it all night. Con: I had to return it!

When I reserved this dress, I got the 4L because I'm tall, and then 3 days before the event, I get notice that it's damaged and they're sending the 4R. RTR sent me 2 other dresses in case I didn't like how the 4R fit, but luckily, the dress was long enough so it didn't look weird (which is what I was afraid of) and honestly, the gown was amazing. I received SO many compliments. I think the back was just STUNNING. Overall, I really liked this piece , but, if you're at least 5'8 like me, most definitely go with the 4L.

I got compliments all night long from both men and women, and my husband couldn't stop talking about how great I looked all night long. This dress is playful and sexy, so I don't think I'd wear it to a more formal event, but for a Vegas wedding and a party bus filled with dancing and drinking, it was perfect attire. I would buy this dress in a heartbeat and wear it over and over again. It is super flattering and fun!

This dress was the perfect length! I usually wear a size 4, but I wore the size 2 for the event. The size 2 was actually too big on me on the shoulders and the back. I wish I had gotten the size 0 as my backup. Other than that , It really accentuates your body in a very good way. The material is also really nice! I also received the dress a day before I was supposed to, so it was perfect!

No real complaint about the dress. Expect tons of compliments. Be sure to get your normal size and then one size smaller. The sleeves may be looser on your normal size so I wore the smaller one. Otherwise, a literally perfect dress.

Although the material is not stretchy per se, there is elastic on inside of the cap sleeve at the shoulder and at the waist which make this dress very forgiving. My shape is an "inverted v," and I was happily surprised that this dress accommodated my muscular shoulders. I actually ordered the 8, anticipating a narrow shoulder, but I ended up going with the 6 because it fit in the shoulders, and the zipper down the spine lay flat. The zipper on the 8 was a little too long for me, but I am only 5'3". The side cutouts also gave the illusion that I have a waist, but in reality, my hips and waist are the same width. Even with all the cutouts, I still felt covered, which boosted my confidence wearing this dress. The fabric is very light weight, and the bottom is flowy. I felt comfortable dancing all night long, and the compliments were non-stop!

I'm typically a 0-2 so I ordered both sizes and the 0 fit perfectly. I have nothing bad to say about this dress it was perfect for a wedding. The material has the smallest bit of stretch but it's enough to flatter your body without sticking to it. I was a little worried about the cutouts being too revealing but I didn't wear a bra and it felt a lot more covered than it looks. Would definitely recommend this for a black tie affair or wedding.

Perfect fit. I was scared it would be too long but had no problems at all (I did wear tall heels).

Pros: Fit like a glove, able to move arms still due to elastic underneath, sides are elastic too so they give. I'm a little under 5'8" and the long hit perfect. In the picture I don't have shoes on yet. Cons: If I had cleavage, you could have run into trouble keeping it under wraps. I also go the 8 but it was a big in the hips. 6 was tight but not restrictive.

I originally rented the BCBG Bon Bon Gown - a hot pink number, but it came back damaged by the previous renter. RTR's EXCELLENT customer service team swooped in and sent me 3 options. BUT, when those weren't the best, they overnighted this one to me. Mad props to their team for doing all they can to make me happy! It ended up being PERFECT. The 4 fit perfectly, but was a bit restricting in the shoulder area (I am a fitness gal!), so I wore the 6 for some extra room. The dress is sexy and surprising, yet classy and elegant. Comfortable too. I am a C cup and didn't wear a bra. Depending on your shape, you may need a backless bra or double sided tape to keep things where they should be. "Best Dressed" compliments all night. I wish I owned this one! ;)

I wore this for a dinner date on Valentine's Day. I loved the fit, I wore a 2L, I am 5'8 and this hit the floor perfectly with some heels. The 4Runner was a little to frumpy and to short. This was a great head turning dress and I was able to wear a side stick VS bra with it no problem! Would get again! #Valentines

I got the most compliments on this dress the whole evening. I wore it for a Mardi Gras Ball in New Orleans. Clearly I got it because the back of this dress is amazing and I am so glad I did. It was so sexy and made me feel like I was the best dressed in the room! I also love how it is black and keeps it classy. By far, my favorite purchase in a long time! I have full hips so it was a little tight to wear my normal size which is 8 so I am glad I listened to other girls' reviews and got a bigger size for my full hips! I was wearing flats so that my feet wouldn't hurt (I knew it was going to be a long night) so I should have gotten the Regular length and not the Long length but I believe that was all that was available.

Very form flattering. I have a much smaller bust but have more curves in my waist, this dress hugged me in all the right places. I also loved the edginess of it. The simple black causes it to slim down problem areas.

The cut of the dress is really flattering. The 2R was perfect, and the cutouts and cage-back were unique and interesting. I almost wish I ordered a 0R because the 4R would've been way too big. I didn't have to wear a bra with it, but I did use Hollywood tape to keep everything in place lol. I got SO many compliments, and the dress photographed really well. This was my first experience with RTR, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

The dress fit me like a glove and was still comfortable enough to move around and dance in. You could see my sticky bra at some points but it didn't bother me too much. I loved the cutouts and the sheer skirt at the bottom. Perfect for our indoor/outdoor event. The length was just where I needed it to be in my 3 inch heals. Perfect dress.

Rented last minute and since I am normally a size 4 I was nervous the 2 wouldn't fit, but thankfully it has a little stretch. I would have probably fit better in the 4, but beggars can't be choosers when you wait until the day before NYE to rent! Got so many compliments and once again RTR saves the day. I was a little concerned at first about the bra situation but once you get used to the fit you realize you aren't going to pop out. Highly recommend!

This dress is AMAZING! I wasnt sure about it at first but when I put it on!!! lawd have mercy!!!...it fit like a glove. You can not wear a bra with it. I did go to Walmart and purchased these adhesive bra cups that adhere to the dress and not your skin. It was PERFECT! It gave me the lift I needed and didn't show. Everyone stopped me to comment and the one's that didn't, sure were looking!!!!

This dress was AMAZING. I can fluctuate between a 2 and a 0, but after reading the other reviews I ordered a 2 due to my chest. Great decision. It was a little roomy in the hips but allowed for easy movement and lots of dancing. I was approached by men, women and staff at this black tie wedding complimenting the dress. The event was held at the Estate at Florentine Gardens which is in Bergen County NJ (basically the beverly hills of the east coast) and this dress impressed. I highly recommend this dress and will rent in different colors this Spring / Summer.

Wore this dress for a NYE event at Hard Rock Detroit, received a ton of compliments. I absolutely loved this dress, it hugged my curves so perfectly. This dress runs true to size, I rented a 6R and 8R, tried the 8 on first and it fit perfect, didn't even try the 6 on. I wore 5 inch heels and the bottom was still slightly hitting the ground but not dragging. I purchased Hollywood fashion tape and Braza(strapless adhesive bra) from this site, didn't end up needing the bra, the fabric is thick enough that it wasn't needed even in the 15 degree Detroit weather. The hollywood fashion tape wouldn't stick to the fabric but luckily the Braza came with curved fashion tape that worked great and yes it is needed otherwise your under breast will be visible when you move your arms. I only applied fashion tape to the side breast area, it stuck for 3-4 hours and then I had to reapply it(needed help applying it). I had no issue with this but others may, your arms are restricted with the straps on the shoulders even reapplying lipstick was a bit of a struggle. Not a dress to go out dancing with your girlfriends but perfect for a formal event where you aren't moving around too much. This is my third time renting a dress and this is my absolute favorite, the sheer bottom and open back make this full length dress classy yet sexy.
