I more this dress to our work holiday party, which clients come to. It was absolutely perfect! The red was great for a holiday party and the length made it classy with the shoulder sleeve giving a little sass and sexy. The material did cling a little around the stomach area, which no girl loves, but it wasn't bad! I wore 4'' heels and it was was right above the ground. Overall absolutely perfect and beautiful

The dress was really beautiful and comfortable but looked best with some shapewear underneath. It was a bit long, but was manageable with larger heels.

I loved this dress! It was exactly what I was looking for to wear in the small wedding I was in. I'm glad I read most of the other customer reviews because I agreed with the comments suggesting not to wear a bra with the corset top of this dress...it may work for some, but for me it was better without. I'm normally a size 4, but the size 6 fit better and the length was better with the heels I wore. You also have to be particular about what kind of underwear you wear because this dress does show everything as other customers mentioned. I received many compliments on this dress and was glad I chose this option. The process was easy and I will definitely keep RTR in mind for another event!

I chose this dress for a recent summertime Black-Tie Wedding (evening) at a fabulous resort in San Diego. After spending a lot of time reading the fit reviews, I finally decided on a size 4R with a 6R as my backup (I am 5' 4", about 115-120lbs, and wear a 34D bra, size 27 jeans). From the other reviews, my main concerns prior to getting the dress were 1. the bust fitting too tightly and 2. the long dress length, but the size 4R ended up fitting me perfectly. The bust area has a nice corset holding you in under the sheer material and right sleeve, and with my 34D size chest, I was able to wear a thinly lined, everyday nude bra underneath (which I LOVE being able to do!!) and the zipper closed up snug but still comfortable and breathable. The corset to waist area detail and transition of this dress is very flattering and slimming, but I would definitely suggest some Spanx for a smooth finish underneath. The material of the dress was so comfortable without having to fuss or adjust all night (like in a sheath dress or strapless dress), really this dress is easy elegance defined. I had to wear 4 inch Betsey Johnson heels to get the dress length just right- barely skimming the floor without tripping or dragging. I think the silhouette and length of the dress really help achieve a tall, slender look, which I usually never get at 5'4". I received so many compliments the night of the wedding, and my dress was definitely unique, I really, truly felt like a princess!! I also met 3 other RTR ladies at the wedding and they all looked fabulous, as well.

I definitely recommend going a size or even two sizes up!! I usually wear a size 6/8 and the 8 wouldn't even zip up half ways. Luckily i got the 10 as well and even then i had to cheat and leave the zipper down a bit :-/ because it fit really snug! Other than that it was an amazing dress!

I am usually a 4, possibly a 6, but I read the dress runs small so I rented a 6 and an 8. The 6 was doable, though tight and uncomfortable, but the 8 fit perfectly. I have a large bust so that's where the problem was with the 6. The dress has a little built-in corset so the 8 made me look smaller in that area, which I liked- just gives you a good profile. It was awesome not having to wear a strapless bra because the wide straps cover up your straps so I was able to wear a good, supportive bra and din't have to worry about pulling my dress up all night, which you'll see other girls in strapless dresses doing. The dress draws in at the waste (very flattering!) but my favorite part was the color of the dress. I'd recommend going with a big necklace for this dress because there's so much fabric (most prom dresses don't have sleeves) you need something to break it up.

I wore this dress when I was 4 months pregnant and it look amazing with my little bump!

Originally my mom ordered this dress for herself (she is a 36 D cup, 145 pounds, 5'5) and it was way too small in the boobs for her. It fit her perfectly until the boob area, and once she got to about right under her bra it couldn't zip any more. I am 5'2 and i wore 4 inch platform heals and the length was great. the fabric around the waist got tight when I sat down, but other than that it fit fairly well! As you can see compared to the other dresses in this pic that it was more of a pink, but very beautiful anyway!

I really liked this dress and got a lot of compliments on it. It is very comfortable. Other reviews about the bust are definitely true-I am 34 AA and I couldn't wear a bra with the 2. I wore 2 inch heels and length was great. The dress is not forgiving at all, after the very fitted top hits the waist all tummy pudge will be shown! I tried to wear spanx to smooth things out but couldn't because a seam showed through. My advice would be to only order the dress if you are very small up top, don't plan to wear a bra, and have a few undergarment options!

I had a formal to attend where everyone wears long. It was long, and I did as someone else suggested and tucked it at the waist. It did run a little small so I went up a size as someone else had suggested.

Make sure you have the right shoes so the dress doesn't drag on the floor.

Fit perfectly- slightly small in the top, but not nearly as small as I was expecting based on other reviews. Size up if you're worried. The boning in the bodice helped quite a bit.

This dress was really flattering on my body. But like many of the other reviews stated- it is tight in the bust area. I am a 34c and couldn't wear a bra with it. So if you are bigger busted then definitely get a size up! Also i wore 4L and I had to borrow some heels that were a little shorter because the dress was too short otherwise. All and all I loved it !

I am 5' 6 1/2" and weigh 115. I am small through the upper body and it was an exact perfect fit. Super snug and hit exactly right. There is a corset on the inside. I did order the regular thinking I would wear lower shoes. I could have gotten away even probably with small heel . It was too short for the 4 inch heels I ended up borrowing at the last minute . Thankfully though with the slit you couldn't tell.

Pair it with gold earrings and some bangles! I order the long so I could hide my wedges because I don't do heels..if i wasn't doing that I would have done the regular!

The dress fit perfectly! The bust was a little tight, but felt secure. This dress is gorgeous and made me feel the same! I received lots of compliments. The dress did show every bump, so I would recommend spanx for the tummy area! Great dress!!! Look forward to renting something else!!

One of my close friends swears by RTR so when I needed to attend a black tie gala that my boyfriend's firm was sponsoring, I immediately checked out RTR. We were attending an art gala at a local Western Art museum sponsored by the Smithsonian and were well aware that we'd be the youngest there by far. With that in mind, (and that we were representing his company), I wanted something conservative and sophisticated, but that was still age appropriate...no bolero jackets please! When I found this gown I knew it was the perfect fit, just enough flair to be noticed, but classy and tasteful. I received multiple compliments throughout the night on how eye catching it was! In other reviews ladies have mentioned that it was a poor choice for busty girls and I would tend to agree. I am very flat chested and the corseted bodice (which you can't see in the photo) was snug against my chest. I am normally a 2-6 and rented a 4L with a 6L backup. I ended up wearing the 4L because the 6L was just a bit too loose. Unfortunately, the smaller size was a tad shorter. I am 5'10" and wore 3-4 inch heels, in the picture you can see that the dress did not hit the ground but was still long enough to look like it fit. It was easy to move in and the sleeve was great with it being a winter event. I will caution that there is a rather high slit that you can't see in the photo. It wasn't a problem until we sat down to dinner and I needed to twist the skirt slightly to keep my upper thigh from popping out. Overall it was a fantastic dress and made for an amazing evening!!

I have a swimmers build...tall, lean, broad shoulders. The fit was great except for around my upper bust. It was just a little snug there. Other than that- great dress!!

One of the designers helped me pick the dress and the accessories. I'm usually an earth tone type of gal, and would have never picked this color on my own, but I'm very happy that I did. The dress was perfect, age appropriate and it concealed my problem areas (i.e. my mid section). It was a bit long for me, but I was able to tuck it in the waist. The dress is fitted around the chest and I think it runs small. I usually wear size 8-10 but I was barely able to get into the 12. Loved RTR service. I will definitely rent again.

The dress came on time as scheduled. I am a 12R. I wore the 10R though because it looked better on me. It was a hit at my banquet! I would definitely rent from RTR again.

The color was beautiful and the chiffon layer was flowy - it was tight through the middle however so if you are self conscious about your stomach you should know it is not forgiving in that area. Overall it was lovely and I received many compliments.

I wore this dress to a broadway play. My husband got us tickets for my birthday so I wanted to dress up and feel special! This dress was perfect!! I ordered a 2R at first and had to get a 4R sent to me because the 2R was not zipping past my ribcage. The 4R fit perfectly and I had no issues zipping it or moving around. The top does have ribbing so it might be a little stiff to move around in. I wore heels which helped with the length but it did touch the ground.

The dress was very elegant and fun to wear. The bust was tight, I was lucky I got it zipped up. After getting passed that aspect, my husband and friends though I looked wonderful! I would recommend going a size up for comfort, if you want to eat, drink, dance and sit! The dress was very long, I am 5'3" and I wore 5" heels, and by the end of the night it looked like i had been stepped on and swept up the dance floor for the cleaning crew :) but regardless, for a fun Red dress, this was the best go to for my body type! Party on sisters!

As far as the actual fit it was perfect. The length was the only downfall. I'm 5'2 and even with 4.5in heels it too long to walk. Had to do a last minute fashion tape 1.5in, but totally worth it. Gorgeous dress! Would definitely recommend but for those of you around 5'2 and under beware! Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was the length

I love this dress. I'll probably rent it again. Tip: Definitely wear spanx underneath this dress! And heels. It runs long... I had to hold it up half the night. It's very slimming, but does not hide your gut after you've eaten too much wedding food! I received compliments all night. It's a very chic and classy choice.

This is a beautiful dress, don't get me wrong, however the bust was a little tight for my style. The color is great, the length (i usually wear long) was extra long so I wore regular. The waist is in a perfect place. I also felt like no flaws were hidden. Spanx here I come! I was thankful to have them on under the gown. Overall, beautiful and classic.

This dress is NOT for a busty woman. I am a 34DD, and let me tell you, I was afraid the "girls" were going to spill out of the top of this dress. It is hard to tell in the pictures, but the dress is actually a corset/bustier (with wiring) with a sheer piece of fabric over it. Also, it doesn't show in the picture, but there is a rather high slit up the left side. It is a beautiful bright red/coral color, and I received many compliments on it, but it was not very comfortable because I was trying to adjust myself most of the night. I went up in size (I'm usually a 4 or 6) in order to fit up top. Again, you might want to think twice before renting this one if you are large on top. One more tip, if you are taller than 5'8, DEFINITELY order a long. The first dress I ordered was a regular, and it came up to my calves!

The dress was gorgeous, I loved the flowiness of the material and the sleeves. My only complaint is that it is really long. I ordered the 2R, and I am 5'3". Even with 4 in heels the dress was dragging considerably on the ground. I ended up having to tuck it in at the wait which was fine, but made it difficult to dance in later. However, I got a ton of compliments, even from women I didn't know at the wedding. It's perfect for a wedding, however if you're shorter than 5'5" I wouldn't recommend renting the dress.

I usually wear a 2-4, but I couldn't zip up the 4 around my bust so I wore the 6R. I normally wouldn't have rented this dress from the photo on the website, but I went to the NY showroom and tried it on there by chance and fell in love!!!

Very flattering. I read reviews that it ran very small... I usually wear a 6/8 so ordered a 10R and 12R. The 10R was way too big. Luckily, RTR was awesome a overnighted me the 8R at the last minute. It was perfect.

I am 40-35-40 and the 12R was so tight in the ribcage/bust that I couldn't even zip it up all the way, so sadly, I couldn't wear it. But it was fine in the waist and hips. Consider sizing up to 2 sizes up. I am 5'6" and the regular length was floor-length with heels. What a gorgeous dress -- rather goddess-like -- would've loved to wear it!

Even though the description for this dress said it was good for someone with a bigger bust, I found it to fit just like most other dresses. I am a 34 DD and normally wear a 6R on top and one size up (8R) was extremely tight on the bust. I actually should have gone up to the 10R, but they didn't have that size when I ordered. I got the 10L but it was way too long. I still was slightly stepping on the 8R with 4 inch heels at my average height. I think the overall fit was also small as I usually wear a size 4R for my bottom half and the 8R fit very nicely on my lower half. While I was a little irked with the fit, it did minimize the look of my bust and I received many compliments which is why I gave it 4 stars.

This was my backup dress. I loved it, but it was a little tight in chest area. I will order size up next time to ensure a comfy fit. Very elegant.
