It fit fine, but I am normally a 2/4 at stores like Banana and Ann Taylor, so I would suggest one size up. I would rent this again!

True to size. Definitely short as others are saying. I'm 5'5'' and wore 4'' heels. Could have been 2-3'' longer, but the shortness allowed me to dance very easily at the wedding without tripping on anything. When the heels came off, it was perfect. Didn't even need fashion tape to secure the boobs - I'm a 36B. Got compliments from guys and gals alike all night. Very easy to dance in, as there isn't an excess of fabric like most formal gowns. The seam where the slit is was slightly ripped when I got it, but the lace made it hard to notice. Don't spread your legs too much when standing with the center split or else it'll look like you're wearing a jumpsuit - ick!

Dress fit perfectly and was comfortable. I received compliments all night! Will definitely be using RTR again!

It fit really well, had lots of stretch, and was fun and easy to dance in. Normally I'm a 6-8 but the 4 held everything in the best.

The dress was amazing! I wore it for my husband's dental school ball. I received so many compliments on it, and it was super comfortable! I was concerned that with the low cut it would lay weird when I sat down, but that was not an issue at all. I would definitely rent this dress again!

This dress is really flattering and comfortable, danced the night away easily and got so many compliments! This was my backup dress and the six definitely was too big, but tape and pins helped. Also, customer service for RTR- amazing! so helpful and they were able to ship me a dress immediately. Definitely plan to rent again =)

Only cons were I didn't have enough time to find a bra that worked with the deep plunge, it was still gorgeous and I felt it hid some imperfections.

I wore this dress to a formal affair and received so many compliments about it! I am 5'0 and have an athletic body type and this dress fit perfectly. The length was perfect for my 4in heels. However, for women who are taller I can definitely see how this dress could run short. The only problem I had with the dress was the deep V since I do not have much cleavage to fill it in. I was able to fix any potential accidents with tape so if you are smaller up there I would definitely recommend having fashion tape on hand (RTR provided some tape but I needed more to make sure the "girls" didn't make an appearance). Other than that this dress was perfect and I will definitely rent from RTR again!

Perfect fit and great length with heels! I needed to use fashion tape to keep everything in in place "up top" but it worked out wonderfully.

This was my first time using Rent The Runway. I really enjoyed wearing this dress. It was a perfect fit for me. I am a short woman with a small breast and I never had a problem wearing this dress without a bras. The 2R was short enough with high heels. I felt comfortable and sexy all night long.

This dress looks more amazing on than in the pictures. Myself and my husband received so many compliments/comments on the dress and I was told several times that I was the best dressed of the night and was asked where it could be purchased! I originally ordered a 6R & 8R, but the dress ran big on the top so I had them send a 4R as a replacement. There wasn't much size difference in the bottom, but the top fit perfect so the dress fit me perfectly. I used the body tape just to ensure the top stayed in place because it does leave a little side boob action :) Overall, amazing dress and experience! RTR customer service is amazing and so helpful!

I loved this dress. Definitely a sexy little number and you will get attention. I couldn't wear a bra with so dancing like I normally do was a little tricky. The slit is right in the middle so sitting was a little tricky too. It is short, but I didn't care because my boyfriend is a little shorter than me, so I can only 1-2 inch heels anyway.

I am about 5'1 around 107/108 lbs. I wore the size 0 regular. My heels were 3" inch heels and made the dress a perfect length.

I ordered 2 sizes 10R and 12R. The 10 fit perfect, but it felt and looked crooked- the beige liner had some imperfections, so I had to wear the 12. It was way loose at the chest so I had to buy a backless U Plunge push up bra from VS. End result… Wowza!! If you don't want to spend $ on a bra than maybe you should pass this dress up , otherwise you may have issues with the girls! I'm 5"5 and wore 4 inch heels and the length was perfect!

I usually am between a 2 and a 4 so I ordered both sizes. The 2 fit very well, the 4 was only slightly larger in a few places. But I was comfortable all night. I'm 5'1 and wore 4 inch heels, the hem was perfect.

Con - I usually wear a 6 but the top on the 6 was too big so i opted for the 4 and i still definitely needed a lot of double sided tape to keep the top in place, but other than that, i LOVED it!

I got so many compliments on this dress. The neckline was new for me, but I still felt comfortable and secure. The size 0 fit, but I felt that the 2 had better coverage. It is definitely a bit short- I wore a low heel and just made it! I'm just 5'4" so if you're taller it might be too short (the regular size). A great dress especially for spring/summer. The material is pretty light but nicely lined.

The dress fit perfectly although I am short so the torso was long. I did a little finagling in the back to pull the dress up so that it fit better in the front. Also wore a backless, strapless, deep bra that helped keep things in. Didn't need spanx, and it was so comfortable. I felt elegant and beautiful!

The plunging neck was no problem with the fashion tape. They only give you like 3 pieces but I had some of my own, so I used that as well. The length of the dress was perfect for my height.

This dress made me feel so sexy, while still maintained my class. The lace material makes it very elegant and timeless. My fiance's jaw dropped when he saw me in it and people came up to me all night telling me how beautiful I looked. Don't be intimidated by the plunging neckline, with a good nubra you are good for dancing all night! I've had more issues with some normal strapless dresses than this one, did not have to worry about wardrobe malfunction at all! The structure of the dress hits all the right spots, it is definitely a dress that turns heads.

I wore this dress to a NYE party and received several compliments. It was really pretty and even though it was on the short side, that allowed me to wear flats (which my feet definitely appreciated).

I read all of the reviews before renting this dress and the best one's were the ones that said it was short. As a short girl, I was apprehensive in renting a long gown, but it is a true that it is a shorter length dress and was perfectly fine with 6 inch heels. I normally wear a size 4, but had to go up a size due to my bust. Other than that the dress fit perfectly. Not only did it fit well, the dress was so comfortable. I would recommed anyone renting this dress, it was amazing.

I absolutely LOVED this dress. I felt like a million bucks in it. It's VERY low cut in the front, so if you have a large bust, this might not be the best. You can't wear a bra with it. However, if you're curvy - which I am - it is still very flattering. Hugs in all the right places. Definitely one of the best dresses I've ever rented.

This dress fit so beautifully. I am athletic and only 5 ft 4 in., so I was afraid the dress would be too long and too tight in the rib cage. It was sensational. I ordered a 2 and 4 and wore the 2...If you are tall it will be too short with a very high heel.. I wore a three inch heel and the hem fell at just the right length. I also used plenty of fashion tape to hold everything in place!I received tons of compliments in a room full of women in black dresses. I just sent it back and cried all the way to the UPS drop off center. I love Rent the Runway and have had great experiences every time!

I ordered it in a 0R and they didn't have the next size available but it fit like a glove. Length was good - I am 5ft and wore 2.5-3in heels. Did get caught a few times in the lace but nothing terrible, didn't trip or tear the dress. Would definitely recommend for a formal event or wedding.

Perfect dress for a wedding or formal affair. It has a plunging neckline, so requires double sided tape, however looks very nice. You should order a size slighly smaller (if between sizes), as I found it to fit slight larger as does all BCBG dresses and clothes for me. I usually wear a 6, but the 4 fit perfectly. With 3in heals, the dress was a good length, maybe slightly short if anything, but great for an outdoor wedding.

I was a little nervous that the dress would be too revealing or that I would constantly be adjusting myself throughout the night, but it ended up fitting perfectly and staying in place. I used two small pieces of fashion tape and felt comfortable and confident all night. The dress was slightly shorter than anticipated, but I ended up wearing a small heel which worked out wonderfully. Chelsea T. worked tirelessly until the day my order went out - making sure that I had everything I needed and answering all of my questions. Wonderful first experience with RTR!

This dress fit perfectly! It made me look slinky and I got so many compliments - everyone said I shouldn't send the dress back and just keep it. The neckline does plunge but it is not risqué, though I did use some fashion tape to avoid any flashes when moving around. The regular was on the short side but that was perfect for me because I wanted to wear low wedges. The material is super comfortable - it's a beautiful gown but feels like wearing pjs (and traveled well without wrinkling). Highly recommend!

I loved this dress! The fit was fantastic and it was super comfortable. I went against the grain and decided to wear a bra with this dress!! I'm so glad I did! Although you can see the black strap in front, the VS bra had a crystal on it, so it looked like it was part of the dress. I used fashion tape to hold the criss-crossed straps in place under the bra in the back, and the straps could not be seen. I got compliments all night and felt fantastic. Never did I feel like I was going to fall out of the dress, where if I went bra-less, I'd feel less confident. 112 lbs, 5'3" 32C. The 0 was a perfect fit.

This dress was an A++. This was my first time using Rent The Runway and I am renting another dress for a wedding in the fall i loved it so much. I even considered renting the same dress. I received so many compliments at the wedding and my boyfriend still wants to buy the dress for me. The only suggestion I would give is get fashion tape if needed, I did not use tape but I was a little self conscious about slight gapping on the top when sitting down. Besides that I loved loved loved this dress!!

I actually purchased this this dress in a size 2 from BCBG but 3 days prior to my event the dress still had not arrived so I ordered a 2 & a 0 from RTR. Boy am I glad I did - my original dress arrived and bc it has such a plunging neckline the 2 was too big. Size 0 fit to a tee. I usually wear strapless and never long but decided to change it up this time. It was a bit daring for me but got lots of compliments. I can't wait to use RTR again! PS - Thanks RTR for the Hollywood tape... I used it on the neckline. :)

I borrowed this dress for a wedding and I loved how beautiful it was and how comfortable I felt in it. I would advice ladies with smaller breast to use some fashion tape since it may be more roomy in that area. Other than the need for fashion tape, I felt the dress was true to size.

I truly loved wearing this dress. I received compliments from just about every person I encountered at this event. It fit like a glove and I felt so beautiful while wearing it. The only downside to this dress (which is why it got 4 stars) is the length. As previous reviewers warned, it is a bit short. If this had come in a 0L, it would have been perfect. I am 5'7" and wore 2" heels and it still felt a bit shorter than I would have preferred. Not so short that it looked bad, just not the length I would typically wear. It would be perfect with flats, but flats were not appropriate for the dress or the function I was attending. I will say I am small framed and small chested. I had no trouble keeping "the girls" in place (even without body tape), but I would imagine this dress would not work well for anyone with a larger chest. Overall though, I loved the dress and will definitely use RTR again!

I ordered a 4 and 6r because of my bust size 32F. The 6 was too big but fit the bust better. The 4 fit perfectly but I was a little large for the bust of the dress. I decided to go with the 4 and have a lot of cleavage. The dress was gorgeous and the length was fine for me with 4 in heels, but would have worked with flats too. The slit was high but wasn't an issue sitting or squatting. I just had to be conscientious of it when I did sit and squat.

I rented the 0R which was a good length with 3" heels. I'm 5'2" with an athletic figure and my favorite part was the back. Definitely need double sided tape though- there's no way to wear nu-bra or even tape yourself up. I loved this dress and got so many compliments.
