Wore this for my engagement pictures. The dress fit wonderfully and the pictures turned out great. I would recommend renting what you think you would fit in and the size down for a back-up.

I wore this dress to a holiday party and it was perfect! I received so many compliments! It's super classy with some fun elements like a sheer top & lower cut back. I was worried about the length when I ordered it but it was perfect for a cocktail dress (I'm 5'5" and it was just above my knee) The best part- - it has POCKETS! :) It feels casual but so easy to dress up with accessories and fancy shoes. Order this, it will not disappoint!

Wearing this dress was like wearing a comfy t-shirt. It has just the right amount of the stretch and the lace parts aren't itchy at all. I rented it for an outdoor fall wedding that ended up being FREAKING FREEZING, but I doubled up on tights and layered a leather jacket over it. The skirt was short enough to be cute without being too showy, and the whole silhouette was super flattering. I ended up buying it when RTR had their stock sale and wore it to another wedding this past winter, where I got a ton of compliments.

Loved it. The fit was phenomenal and the dress was a perfect length with or without heals. Wish I owned this dress!

This dress is fantastic. It was so comfortable and I received a ton of complements. I am pretty tall so it was a little short but I wore black tights and black booties and it was perfect. The small fit well but because I am pretty busty the medium fit better in the bust area so I went with the medium and the medium felt a little longer. I would say if you have a similar body type to me get the small and medium.

Such a cute LBD, got so many compliments. Paired with a belt to synch in the waist! Roomy in the torso without the belt, would definitely rent again! Long enough that my butt didn't show when I bent over too!

I wore this to my company holiday party and this dress was exactly what I was looking for: casual, comfortable and with pockets. I would absolutely rent again. The back of the dress is beautiful with a low cut and the pockets for me are such a plus. I would consider wearing a strapless bra though since the material is sheer. I tried both black and nude bras and both showed through the fabric.

I rented this for my husbands holiday work party. It is a perfect and tasteful black dress for any kind of party. I rented the xs and s and wore the xs which fit me perfectly! Loved it!

I ordered the small and extra small, and went with the extra small. The zipper stuck a little but that was really the only con. It was super comfortable and easy to dance in. Loved the pockets!

I ordered the dress in a M and an L. I ended up wearing the L, mainly because of the length. The M fit, but was a bit short for my liking. I got tons of compliments on the dress. It is very simple, but elegant. You can really dress it up with jewelry. I chose to wear it with nude heels. My favorite feature - the pockets! I love dresses with pockets. I added a 2nd photo to show that when the flash is used in photos, you can really see how sheer that lining is. It isn't noticeable without flash, but just so you know. I would definitely rent this dress again.

The fit was perfect. I ordered the small and x-small as backup. Glad I did the small was loose and not flattering the XS was perfect! Ran a little shorter then I thought it would so I wore tights with it. Seeing how I attended a funeral it was still fashionable but conservative. Always a win with RTR!!

This lovely number is a great twist on the LBD. It's got a really fun skirt and lacy details that make it more than just a basic black dress. I would recommend a strapless bra to hell hold the girls in, and if you are wavering on whether to size up of down, go with a smaller size. I got the small and medium and ended up wearing the small. It gave me better shape and was flattering. The sleeves are fitted but not too small or tight, same with the bodice. Overall a good rent, great for a wedding or party.

This dress is fairly short, so I wore the large to be more comfortable with the length. The dress is very forgiving, so the medium fit better aside from the length. You can go wrong with this--it was perfect for a fall wedding!

This dress was very comfortable to wear. I wore to host a company winter party and it was modest enough to be up in front of employees but still fun. The pockets were convenient for my phone and a lipstick. Only con for me was that the back was a scoop that went almost to my bra line, so I had to keep checking it to make sure it wasn't showing in the back. Also, I wore a black bra underneath because you can see whatever bra straps you wear and I didn't feel like wearing a strapless bra. I think it looked fine - you an kind of see it in the picture.

I had been eyeing this dress for a long time and when it came time to choose an outfit for my company's holiday party, I knew this was the one. The fit was amazing - I'm a big fan of wearing Spanx and as this event was in the middle of December, I packed my tights the morning of the party, ready to change into them at the office. When it was time to get dressed, I realized my stockings had a major rip - I was upset to have to wear the dress with nothing holding me in but I shouldn't have worried. The dress fit perfectly and made me feel skinny! The pockets are the perfect addition. The dress does run a little large but the XS fit like a glove and I can't wait to rent this again!

Super comfy and elegant dress for chaperoning my sons' senior prom. Dress is striking enough to mingle with the gown clad senior girls and still be classy. Was able to keep car keys and cell phone in the hidden pockets. Tons of compliments the whole night and my boyfriend is still talking about how I looked days later. Definite winner! Plan on wearing a strapless bra as the top portion above the bust area in unlined. The Oscar de la Rente Lock and Key necklace was the perfect accessory to set the dress off.

I really loved this dress. I'm only 5'1 and the shorter length was fine for me for a date night dress, but I could understand how someone taller may feel that the skirt was a bit short. The longer sleeves were perfect for the cooler weather we are still having. I wore it with a black bra, and I don't think the straps looked too bad, they actually looked like part of the dress. I ordered the medium and the large, the medium was a little tighter in the back than I would have liked (which I'm self conscious about) but the large was way too loose in the shoulders. I wore the medium and ended up feeling fantastic and beautiful. Definitely a Rent the Runway success!

This dress was AWESOME. I rented the medium and it was quite comfortable, a lot of room to breathe but not too big. Wore it with a nude bra and didn't find any issues with the sheerness of it. Wore to see Britney in Vegas and was comfortable even with all the dancing. I wore sheer black tights and pumps and some statement jewelry, very easy to dress up or down.

I ordered a medium as my actual size, and a small for my back up size. I ended up wearing the small because the upper portion of the dress was kind of loose. The small was a perfect fit! My favorite thing about the dress was the back! Love, love, loved it! I wish I could have kept it!!

Very stretchy, comfy, and girly! After changing my order twice, I ended up ordering this (since it was my first choice to begin with). I'm still getting used to my new "mommy" body even a year later. This was a perfect dress for a wedding. Easy to dance in, has pockets (which is the best idea in the history of dresses) and very sexy without being overtly sexy. By far one of the most flattering and comfortable dresses that I have ever worn. I usually wear a Large, but ended up going with the Medium. The Large was just that, way too large. I would recommend this dress for any cocktail party or work event.
