Pictures do not do this dress justice...it's heavy enough to feel comfortable with out feeling like a bother to wear, it's more blush and see through at the shoulders and above the chest. The embroidery and bit of sparkle was perfect for this black tie wedding! Perfect length for me also! Loved this dress!

I bought this off Rent the Runway clearance, and I could be happier with it! It is the perfect length with 3.5" heels. It fit my needs for a very modest gown, however, the shoulders and upper chest are sheer so I had to wear a tight fitting black tshirt underneath it, but it was not noticeable at all. I wore this to a engaged/married couples dance, and I got compliments all night. My fiancé said I looked stunning! The best part is that this dress could transition from winter events to other seasons because it has tiny pink sequins all over the gown that don't really show up in the pictures. It is flattering to the booty, but since I am so straight in the chest and waist areas, I did feel like the dress lacked the ability to create curves for me. If you rent, I would definitely get a backup size one size down, but it was true to size. I love this dress, and I am excited to have it for any formal occasions!

This dress is beautiful and unique. The picture on RTR doesn't do it justice. The light pick floral design is woven on blackish-brown sheer fabric which is over a beige liner. The liner stops just above the breasts so everything above them is sheer as well as a small area between the breasts which shows a little cleave. What you can't see in the picture is that there are matching light pink sequins on the large flowers that give them a pop without looking garish. The dress runs a little large- I normally wear a size 4 but the size 2 fit me like a glove. I'm 5' 7" and the bottom hem stopped about 2" above the floor. If you're looking for something classy with a little bit of sexy thrown in then this is the dress for you.

I RTR regularly and this is one of my favorites. It was short (good for me at 5'0") but a peekaboo hem makes it great for someone taller who doesn't want full length. Fabric gives a lot so dress was super comfy. A tad itchy under the arms but night's end. I could have worn the 6R but 8R gave a little more and I knew I'd be dancing.

This dress is MUCH heavier in person than it appears online! It is incredibly classy and I just loved it! I tried it on with a sweet black cashmere wrap sweater and it looks like I am wearing a long pencil skirt with a separate top. I LOVED it!! The 8 and the 6 both fit, but I liked the 8 better because I like a little "breathing room" in my dresses. If you don't, you'll find a size down from your usual size will fit you just fine! 1st pic is how I wore it, 2nd is the dress alone. Have fun with this one, ladies! You will feel exquisite!

There are more sequins on the dress than I realized from pictures- which, I love sequins, so great! But be warned. Also, it's hard too see that a portion of the top is sheer, including a weird strip about 1/2" wide that goes down the sternum...why anyone would want to semi-expose this tiny piece of skin is beyond me, especially as it prevents from wearing a bra...but I added a nude tank under to fix that. For a less formal event it might be fine, but I was wearing this to a work event so I needed everything to be in place. The dress was also slightly large- normally wear a 4 or a 6, which were the sizes I got, and I wore the 4 but would have gone down a size if I had it. Also, for medium-short ladies, this dress will run a little long- I'm 5'5" and wore 4" heels and it was still about 1-2" on the floor. It was a lovely dress and I received tons of compliments!

It fits very true to size (unlike many formal gowns). Based on the reviews I wanted a 6L (I'm 5'8") but since they only had a 6R I decided to give it a try and it worked out perfectly! I was very impressed with the beautiful detailing and received so many compliments!

I got this as an overnight replacement when my original RTR was too small AND ripped. It was some awards show weekend so every average size 4,6 was sold out in EVERYTHING. This was a last ditch effort and had no reviews yet. It was incredible! Fit like a glove. It was long for my 5'6'' frame and heels, but they didn't have other sizes haha. So many compliments, and I look the part at a black tie event

This dress was overnighted after my first dress choice didn't fit. I was hesitant, as it looks a bit more conservative than I typically choose; however, I felt great in it and received compliments all night! I paired with a black open toe heels and while outdoors, threw little black leather moto-jacket edge it up a bit. Runs on the shorter side in the front with a slightly longer back hem. I think I would have been happier with a 4L.

Great fit, very comfortable to wear. Easy to dance in it. Length was just right for me at 5' 9"

I ended up purchasing the gown, and after trying it on- I think I'll get a lot of use out of it. The lace is beautiful, it's well constructed, the high neckline and long silhouette lengthen and create a nice line for the body. It seems perfect for an outdoor summer or spring wedding or a formal/semi-formal evening event. And as a mom, I appreciate the conservative, yet classy and chic nature its design. For me, it was between true to size/running large- it's well tailored, yet it honestly didn't seem to be as tight as I anticipated (I sadly have few curves), which I could fix by altering or, let's be honest, is a welcomed change in a gown!

This was my first choice dress, and I am so glad that I added a second choice dress to my order last minute. I liked this dress, and it fit pretty true to size. But, I did not wear it because I needed a dress for a holiday party, and this dress seemed to be more of a warm weather dress because of its light weight and pinkish color.

The dress was not only beautiful but comfortable too
