This gown is very flattering and summery, would be perfect for a daytime summer wedding. It does run a bit large, especially in the bust. I would recommend sizing down, at least for your backup size. The color is much more vibrant in person and more of a coral / bright pinkish orange. The waistband is stretchy, which helps with fit. You definitely need a bra with this style as the top is a bit thin, but I'd recommend a standard racer-back bra so the straps don't show. It's breezy, comfortable, and fun! I recommend pairing it with gold toned statement earrings.

I received this dress after originally ordering the BCBG Alyse dress, which was a gorgeous dress but it was entirely too low-cut on me (I should have known better, I had a baby 4 months ago and am breastfeeding so I am much bigger up top right now). RTR was fabulous at overnighting this dress to me and sent me both the S and M in the long length. The S fit perfectly, which I felt it ran a little large, I expected the M to be the one that would fit as I am normally a size 4 or 6. The color is beautiful and was long enough for me to wear with strappy flat sandals (it would have been at that awkward mid-ankle length had I worn heels). I wore it to an outdoor wedding in the 90 degree heat and was comfortable. There is a lot of material to this dress! I kept pulling it up when I sat down so it didn't get stepped on, and there would be a big pile of orange fabric in my lap. As other reviewers have mentioned, the liner to the skirt is short so you have to be sure it stays down so you don't get a strange line across your rear. The center "belt" is elastic, which is nice because it holds its shape without being too tight while eating and dancing. I felt very pretty in this dress!

Wow, I got so many compliments on this dress and how it flowed when I moved around. I wore this to my sister's bridal shower and it was comfortable and (mostly) easy to wear. There is a ton of fabric, which allows for the great movement of the dress, but can sometimes get in the way. I'm 5'4" and wore platform wedges and the dress skimmed the ground. The regular length is a bit long.

This was my backup dress for a formal Easter brunch and it was perfect. It's a little loose and its flowy so it's comfortable and easy to wear. I received compliments from men and women alike. Note that it is a bit sheer so nude under garments are a must. It's also long: I'm 5'8" and I had to wear heels.

The dress is stunning! It came with tags on. The color is better in person than in the stock photo. I am 5' 4" and wore 4.5" heels and it swept the ground. I would say it is a tiny bit long but I love that sweeping look! Go for it, I was overly happy with it. I did wear a pair of nude spanx under it because it is a tad bit sheer. Looked phenomenal :)

The length worked great with the shoes that I wore. Now that I'm pregnant I'm wearing a 34D and the top was still pretty big. It could be that with my belly (30 weeks pregnant) it just didn't lay the way it was supposed to but I still loved the dress. It looked really good in pictures despite the large top and the fabric wasn't too hot. I received many compliments!

Fit great, the waistband was in placed in a great spot for a slimming effect. The pleats took a little getting used to, the skirt is extra full and a short liner underneath. Definitely wear no show panties because even with all the pleats lines show! Also, be sure to check the liner every time you stand up, if it gets slightly twisted you will have a very strange line across your rear. Length was great. Would drag with flats (what the photo is of), but could wear up to a 3" heel. I would not recommend a long for anyone under 5'10".

Wore this dress at about 28 weeks for a wedding- for all you pregnant women out there is so hard to find something that doesn't make you feel like a cow and frumpy! This dress had a little bit of a waist that hit at just the right spot so you could tell I was pregnant for the front and sides- plus it was long so I could wear flats (another necessity while pregnant)! Received a ton of compliments!

Haha ummmm so I probably should just go ahead and buy this dress with how much I've spent on renting it, it's the best! It is super comfortable, and the band around the waist sucks everything in to make it super flattering. The color pops for any event, and it's so much fun to wear and SO MUCH FUN TO DANCE IN! I first wore this dress to a Mexican wedding and everyone was obsessed when I was twirling on the dance floor. I also wore this for my engagement photos earlier this summer (and the long gold sparkly Badgley Mischka too - but I'll review that separately), and it translated so nicely for the photos. Most recently I rented the dress again for my wedding week and wore it to two events two nights in a row because I just love it so much - a small ladies dinner/mehndi, and to our rehearsal dinner. It's the best - love the length, love the color, love the fit. It goes great with a jean jacket and sandals dressed down - or nice jewelry and heels dressed up! The dress is long enough that it doesn't really matter what shoes you wear. If you rent this dress, sit on the grass or a beautiful rug or bed and spread the dress out around you for a picture - you won't regret it!

Was looking for a modest dress and this was perfect! I usually wear a 2/4 in bcbg, and ordered a four. Definitely could have sized down but the four was still a great fit. The top is a little sheer so you'll have to be careful with bra selection, but otherwise this was perfect. Will likely order again!

What I loved most: the colors, the comfort (lightweight material & elastic waistband), and style (can be dressed up or worm more casually, depending on your needs). Not constricting at all, elastic waistband makes it great for a long night out without having to sacrifice comfort. Wore a belt to give myself a waist, since it runs a little large, but I don't think I would've needed a belt if I wore the SR. Also a little bit long (doesn't look like it in the pictures, but I did step on the bottom a couple times. This wasn't the dress I originally ordered for this wedding but I'm so thankful to the RTR specialist who found it for me when my first dress didn't work out.

I loved this dress and would 100% rent it again. It was extremely comfortable and I didn't need shape wear at all. Being able to wear a regular bra is also a huge plus. This dress runs VERY big! I expected to go with the medium, but the small fit the best. You won't regret renting this dress!

Got this for a weekend in wine country and it was beautiful! Got so many compliments! It's super comfortable but a bit long. I wore with flats and felt like I was stepping on the hem a bit.

Wore for a work event and evening out in Dubai - it was perfect!!! Wanted to keep this - would 100% rent again for vacation or a summer party/event. Definitely runs big - am a 6/8 and the S had room. Wore with short heeled sandals and R length was great - would have needed epically high heels to wear a long.

Great fit, I wear BCBG a lot so I was comfortable ordering the Medium. I am 5'7 and ordered the long because I had 4" wedges to wear with the dress. Great color, amazing compliments all night for my work gala in Mexico!

I love when dresses are just so easy to wear, but are still so sophisticated. I wore this dress on vacation in Greece and it really was an attention-grabber as I walked through the streets. My only real issue with it was that it was a tad bit too long with my flat sandals, so I would recommend a wedge with this dress so you don't trip or have to hold it up while walking. The waistline is very forgiving so you can go a size down if you feel like you're generally between sizes.

I loved this dress. I wore to a rehearsal dinner. The flow of the skirt is wonderful and again this is a very comfortable dress. Great color. I felt like my torso might have been a hair to short since there was SLIGHT bunching, but it did not bother me at all and if I stood up straight it was not an issue.

This dress is stunning! The colors are beautiful and the illusion one shoulder makes it something special over normal maxi-type dresses. Its likely that I could have worn the small, however was playing it safe since I was only four weeks post delivery. The dress is quite forgiving with plenty of length in the regular - I'm 5'6" and wore nearly 4" heels with ease.

My first RTR dress experience was a great one. Wore this at 31wks pregnant & felt gorgeous!! It was long for me at 5'4" (required wedges), but super flowy and comfortable. Felt like the belle of the ball! Would definitely recommend this dress. I ordered the mystery bling to go with it -- the Ella Carter Cameron necklace was what was sent -- but I thought the jewelry was more appropriate for evening. As this was a casual daytime dress & event, I paired it with a long drop gold necklace I already owned.

Fabric is soft and beautiful and pleated skirt is perfect for dance twirling :) Cut is flattering and color was fun for a summer black tie wedding. It runs large, recommend getting a size smaller as 2nd size. It's also very long--I needed tall heals or it would have dragged. Great because you can wear a real bra (go with nude because the fabric is sheer).

I'm usually a size 6, but I still have some Post baby weight so I'm currently an 8. This dress was HUGE. Too big and longer then I expected. If you're under 5'8" you will need to wear heels. Overall the dress was beautiful and the material is fantastic but runs so big.

I wore this dress to a formal fundraising dinner where I needed to look quite conservative (no arms/legs showing) but also snazzy and feminine. I chose to wear this dress with a blazer. I really liked the dress and received many, many compliments throughout the evening. A couple things to note: this dress is pretty long; even in tall heels it was to the floor. This dress is quite sheer; there is a liner that goes to the mid-thigh but if the light catches you the right way others will see a silhouette of your legs all the way up. Additionally, the cream fabric at the top will show a bra strap. One more detail is that there is a lot of fabric to this dress. Others mentioned it but I didn't quite get what that meant until I needed to walk up/down stairs. It was super difficult and actually a little embarrassing because I couldn't keep from stepping on the dress. Despite these caveats, this is a beautiful dress that I would rent consider renting again for a spring/summer event.

This dress is perfect for a Spring/Summer wedding. I felt fantastic all night in it. It's beautiful, flowy, and so comfortable. I ordered a Medium because I normally wear a size 8-10 in dresses, but I am so glad I went a size down because the medium so too big and LONG! The Small was the perfect fit and length. I was able to wear flip flops. My only complaint would be that it was a little transparent in the bust area.

I rented this for my bridal shower weekend and wore it for brunch. Colors are great, it's super comfy, and flowy. People stopped me in the street to say how much they liked it. It was a little big, I'm 5'4 and 137lbs and the medium fit, but I think the small would have been better. Length was good, I wore 3 inch heels.

I received this dress instead of my original order's backup size. I absolutely loved that dress but decided to wear this one because I thought it was a bit more elegant for the wedding I was attending. The one thing: this dress has a TON of fabric to the point where I would consider it high-maintenance. Having to drape it over my arm while dancing was a pain in the butt. It was also a tad too big on me around the waist, even though XS is the smallest size offered. Nonetheless, it was beautiful, and I received no shortage of compliments.

I am 5'9" so the long was a good choice. It runs slightly big- I debated between an extra small and small and went with the small, it still looked good, but the torso was slightly wide.

I think my dress was defective. The waist was gold waistband was gigantic and I am 5'6' 165lbs and usually wear a size 10 so a M/L should fit perfectly. I think all of the elastic was gone because the dress just hung wide and sloppy in the waist when it appears fitted on the model. I made the mistake of not trying it on until the day of the event. Thankfully, I had a belt that worked with it. Without a belt this dress was unwearable so I am not sure if this was just my dress or if every dress is super loose.

When the dress came in I absolutely loved it as soon as I pulled it out of the bag in regards to color and material! However, then I tried it on. I am 5'4 and usually a size 6. I ordered this in a small and it was so big in the waist, not to mention length, I thought it must have been labeled incorrectly. I almost didn't even wear it, but just couldn't stand spending money to rent a dress then not be able to wear it! So instead I wore it w a belt and 5 inch platforms and then just spent the rest of the night picking it up so as not to step on it! Still happy w it as it was really flowy and perfect for a sailing date, but I just don't understand how the sizing could be accurate!
