The dress was true to assize and the shipping was really easy to do afterwards! I enjoyed wearing it so much and my fiancé loves it! #MarineCorpsBirthdayBall2012

I used 3" heels and the length was perfect. I tied the bow in the back instead of the side like it was shown in the the sample pic. The material is very soft and flowy, wrinkles came out very easily with some light steam. It has a build in bra, so a strapless was not needed. Held up very well, even with all the dancing, I was not constantly adjusting it like you have to in most strapless dresses. Highly recommend!

The color is true to what is in the photo and the dress is absolutely beautiful. Stays up all night, is tight around the bust and flowy around the rest of the body, and the length was good! I am 5'6" and wore 3-inch heels and it was great. I usually take a size 4 in BCBG and that is what I was in this dress (I am usually a 4 or 6 in most brands). Loved it.

Perfect dress for the event. The color is amazing in person. I'm shorter so the dress was a bit long but nothing heels couldn't fix!

The color on this dress is so beautiful, the picture doesn't truly capture it! I got so many compliments on it! The only issue is that the outer layer of the skirt is meant to pool on the floor, which makes it a little difficult to walk in without holding the skirt. Higher heels helped that though!

I have a black tie event each year for work. I had a baby 7 months ago, and still have 10 pounds to get to my pre-pregnancy weight as well as a lot of ways to go to get back to the tone I had before. I've always been smaller on the bust as I have curvier hips, thighs & bum. I ordered the 10 & 12 - and because my chest is smaller, the 10 fit better. The 12 only gave a slight more flow for the hips/bum but only because I was inspecting. My husband didn't think the 12 looked better on me. The chest however was larger and I would be pulling it up all night if I went with the larger size. I had bought the hem tape thinking I'd have to apply it to my dress but when I looked at it it seemed to be the perfect length - (I would say my heels were 1 1/2 inches) However, I did not take note that the back of the dress seems to have a slight train -so as I was walking up stairs, the dress would get caught in my shoes. I ordered this dress based off of a review someone else gave about it fitting well after a baby. Having said that- I still felt I looked pregnant when I put it on. I bought spanx and control top panty hose to wear under it and then felt that I at least didn't have the 4 months pregnant look anymore. I received many compliments on the color of the dress - periwinkle is probably the best to describe it. Someone else at the event wore the same dress in black and it looked great on her, but I think the color really popped and stood out. The quality of the dress was great, I had no issues with snags or zippers or stains.

I rented this dress for the Marine Corps Ball. The event was the weekend after Hurricane Sandy slammed the East Coast, and I thought that might keep RTR from being able to get the shipments out, but it still arrived on time, which was very impressive, especially considering the company is based in NYC. I loved the idea that they would send 2 sizes, because my weight tends to fluctuate (especially after having a baby), so that gave me peace of mind that I'd be ale to wear one for sure. I loved the cut of this dress too, especially for my post-baby body. It hid my problem areas without looking like maternity wear or a muumuu. I couldn't figure out how to tie the ribbon to look like the picture, so I just tied it behind my back and it looked good that way too. My only problem with the dress was that I am 5'2", and even in my 4" heels it was a little too long, and I had to hold the skirt up while walking to keep from stepping on it. All in all, I am thrilled with my experience and will use RTR any time I have an event in the future.

There are absolutely no cons for this dress. It fit perfectly. I have never worn a strapless dress that I didn't have to pull up all night. It was stunning. The color was beautiful and it sits just right so you feel comfortable to walk around in, eat in and dance in. The length was right on. I'm 5 5", 120 lbs, 34B.

I felt gorgeous in this dress! Perfect fit for my body type, although I am short so it was a little long. Otherwise, it's a great dress! I definitely recommend it.

I loved the dress and it was perfect for a summer formal wedding. The fabric was light and flowy but still looked formal enough for a black tie wedding. I wear a 8R and went for the 10R for length. Would definitely recommend this dress and RTR!!

One of my best friends and I rented this dress as our bridesmaid dress for an outdoor wedding in May. I ordered the 0 and it fit perfectly. It is long, it flows, its a classic! We were both complimented all night. Two other girls in the bridal party bought the same dress in a lavender color and they paid a fortune. I'm so glad we did RTR!

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! I rented this dress for my best friends wedding and it was a huge hit and got so many compliments! I rented 8 and 6 and wore the 8 it fit perfectly!

I liked the dress. It was a great fit. However, I don't think I would order it again. The color and the subtle stripping made it seem very young. Next time, I think I will try something more mature!

I don't know if it's stretched out from being worn a lot, but the 2 for perfectly everywhere but the top, which was falling off! Definitely not ok in a strapless dress! Also the length on this dress is a tad short. In flats it was still about an inch or two above the floor on me. Other than that a GORGEOUS dress, I was super bummed I couldn't make it work!

I wore this for my senior recital back in November and it was a great dress for the first part of my recital (more formal/ classical singing). I ordered the 10R and 12R and had to go with the 12R because the zipper on the 10 kept snagging (otherwise I would have worn the 10). I am just shy of 5' 7" and the dress was a bit short on me with heels (as you can see in my pictures), but I loved how the material freely flowed as I walked. The only other problem I had with the dress was the bust. I am very small chested and the dress was definitely too big in the bust (but it also was the same way with the 10). Overall a great dress and everyone kept asking me where I got it! (I also should note that I was a good 7-10 lbs heavier during my recital than I am now. I gained weight due to the stress from my final semester of school and the dress made me feel beautiful and confident- hiding my trouble spots)

I don't consider myself to have a small bust, but the top of this dress is huge. It's like it's stretched out. I'm only 5'5"" and the regular skims the floor without heels. Wearing only 3 inch heels it is way off the ground. The fit in the waist and everywhere else is great. I'm usually a size 4R and I feel like I could wear this in a 0L. The color is very beautiful. I was afraid it would be better for blonde/blue eyed girls like the model, but I think it wouldn't complement any skin tone.

Wore this to a film festival. It was secure and the dress kept up with my antics all night!

I needed a dress for my boyfriends Formal, and it fit perfectly. I loved the flow this dress has because there was no wondering if it may fit or look weird on my athletic, no defined waist or hip body. Even though it is very flowy I still felt like the dress made me look like a women. Bonus it was so comfy!

I wore this dress to a black tie June wedding, and it was a hit! The 2 and 4 were close in size, but with it being strapless I went with the 2 as it was a little more snug up top. I wore it with low (about 2") wedges, and it was perfect!

I spent hours looking for the right dress to order. I finally decided on this one.I rented this dress for my senior prom. I ordered the 8R and 10R. I wore the 10R because the fit was better (although a bit large on top). You can change the bow placement, I wore in front. I got a ton of compliments on this dress, and it looked great with my darker skin tone. It was a bit ruffled/scrunched in places when I first opened it out of the bag, but it wasn't a big enough problem to need to iron. The dress was very comfortable, I felt like I was flowing in it. I'm 5'3" and I had to wear wedges and it was the right height-dress just touched the ground. Overall, this was a great first rental and I will be coming back again. The dress worked, I didn't have to wear my backup dress, and I looked/felt beautiful! Note-The title says stripes but it is more just pleated.A medium blue color.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. I've never gotten so many compliments in my life. This dress is very long. I wouldn't recommend renting this dress if you are under 5'5".

Love this sooo much! It was so comfortable and i normally hate strapless! the size was perfect, even though im short. i wore big heals and it was beautiful floor length and allowed me to walk really easily. i am small chested and it fit really comfortablly with a corset, but probably wouldn't need it.

I rented this as a backup for another dress, and didn't end up wearing it. But I did try it on and it was very flattering and gorgeous. Very light weight, perfect for a summer evening. I plan to rent it again next time I need a full length gown!

This dress is grogeous - and extremely comfortable! I wore it to a black-tie optional late afternoon/early evening dinner and got tons of compliments. I wore it with a dressy cropped black jacket and it was perfect. The skirt floats away a little bit as you walk - very ethereal effect - so light and lovely! I would say that it is definitely long - I am 5'7" and definitely needed my heels. Also, I wore a pretty padded strapless bra - I am a 36C and I think it might be a little gappy in the chest for smaller ladies. Overall I LOVED it and will definitely use RTR again.

Wore this dress to a black tie wedding in Napa, CA with 3" heels. It was a beautiful color and great fabric. There is a lot of fabric in the skirt portion so I had to be very careful going up stairs or standing up from a chair. There was a sticky line on the top since it's strapless, but it kept rolling up as the dress slipped down. Also the loops that keep the dress on the hanger would come out occasionally. Overall I loved the dress and felt very comfortable, especially for a strapless dress.

I am about 5' 4" and I liked the movement of the dress and the color is exactly like the photo. I ended up wearing a different dress but I still liked it.

I didn't end up wearing this dress because it was too long. I thought it might work because the length (56") was shorter than most of the dresses (that weren't petites), but even with 4" heels, it was significantly too long. I also didn't think it was super flattering on me because the bow added volume to the middle and took up the majority of my torso! Wouldn't recommend for those who are petite.

I rented this as a second option for a sorority formal, and I was not a fan of this dress even before I tried it on. I saw some of the pictures people posted and I thought the dress would be perfect. The color isn't as blue as it is in the picture above. The neckline for the gown is literally straight across your body and I don't think it would work for anyone unless they have either very small or very large breasts. Also, the tie/bow that is in the front is tough to make look classy without distracting from your body. Also, I felt as if the fabric looked cheap. I wanted this dress to be gorgeous, but it just didn't work on me. I wish I would have taken a picture!
