It’s like a thick sweater material. Rented for a fall trip to Portland Maine and it was warm enough. Staticky as other mentioned but not a deal breaker. Fun rental for a casual coat. Both sizes worked fine for me so TTS (small or medium).

Love how high quality this is. It's soft and stretchy. Not lined but not itchy. Is it warm? Not really. More for layering and transitional weather. I like it over a monochromatic look. The sleeves are slightly long so I had to roll them up. It's also a bit long because the pockets are low. They hit at my thighs not my hips. And the pockets aren't deep. Hard to securely carry my phone inside.I would say runs a little larger for a petite. Consider sizing down.

I loved this jacket. It kept me warm for my very first trip to Europe. It's also super comfortable and flexible-more like a sweatshirt than a peacoat!

I love this jacket so much! Rented for a work trip to Boston and had tons of internal debate on whether or not to buy it. The fabric is wonderful (perhaps not warm enough for the coldest weather). I reminded myself I like to rent fun outerwear for travel given that I live in Southern California and don’t have as many wearing occasions. But I may reconsider later this season and just buy it.

I get tons of compliments every time I wear this. It's such a great piece. Super comfortable and warmer than you would expect. The pockets are small, but it wasn't an issue for me. This is pretty much my goto coat in cold weather. Love it!

Another item that I had to buy because it’s that good! Just a perfect coat for Ohio late Fall/early Winter. So warm without being bulky. The colors go with nearly everything in your closet. My cost to wear ratio on this piece will be very, very low.

I rented this sweater and sent it back with planning to rent again. Very popular and none available at the time. It is a good quality thick sweater that keeps you toasty. Dress up or dress down, it goes with everything. If I can find it, I will buy it!!

First. I love the feel of this "shacket". The material is soft and super stretchy, which was surprising to me. added to the comfort. Also love the pattern. Seriously thought about buying this one, but the pockets are a deal breaker. First, they are placed too low. Granted. I have short arms. But I don't usually have this issue. Second they are very shallow angled pockets so they really can't safely carry anything. Like a cell phone. It would fall right out. It's good for very tiny items? But even soft items like gloves, easily fall out if you're careful. I thought about overlooking this inconvenience but just couldn't do it

Second time renting this because I liked it so much the first time. It's the perfect weight for fall.... or CA winters. The material is so soft and smooth, I could literally sleep in it. Fits true to size over a top or light sweater, but would probably want to size up if I needed to layer it over a hoodie or heavier sweater.

Warmer than expected

FYI, the material is more like a densely knitted sweater with a short fuzzy pile that's been constructed like a coat. This is useful; the stretchy material makes it cozier for, say, wearing to an event in cold weather where you may want to leave your coat on. I wore it to church and to the opera on a cold-ish, rainy day in early Spring over a basic black dress and got several compliments!

Fit was great. I could easily wear a hoodie or knit sweater underneath.

I wore this all the time and was reluctant to return it. I got compliments on it every time I wore it. It goes with everything - can dress up or down. It definitely runs large and I would love to rent it again in a smaller size, but it's rarely available! It's soft and incredibly comfortable.
