Def agree with the other reviews that this is much less a "sitting" dress as it is a "standing" dress. Driving in the car to my event was tricky but overall the dress was fantastic! Great shape, great texture, fairly true to size. I also agree that the zipper rubbed a bit. Worth it though. Super cute!

So cute!! Has a mesh/wire underlay that makes it a little uncomfortable while sitting so it’s definitely a standing dress but it was perfect!

The dress zips all the way down in the back and has like a hoop like structure & boning in it. This looks fab standing but makes sitting uncomfortable. It was perfect for my bridal tea event and I felt beautiful

I wore this dress for my civil ceremony, and it was absolutely stunning. The dramatic silhouette and structure made it incredibly photogenic. That said, it's definitely a "stand-only" dress—the boning makes sitting quite uncomfortable. Still, for visual impact and elegance, it delivered beautifully.

Dress is so cute especially for the team short Gals like me. I would recommend shape-wear underneath just because the inside material will scratch you, and I didn’t feel it with the spanx on. I do get the whole thing about sitting reading other reviews, it does feel weird and stiff. I looked back at several pics sitting and never noticed the shape. Please please size up so you can sit.

I love everything Bronx and Banco, and this one came brand new with tags, but I find they run one to two sizes too small particularly in the rib cage area . I'm a 36 C and between a size 6-8 for reference and sized up to an extra large and it was perfect. There is absolutely zero give to this dress , it is very structured and has boning throughout underneath. It's great for keeping the dresses shape but totally awkward if you are sitting down . I wore to church and brunch for Easter and even though I received compliments from almost everyone I wouldn't wear again to an event that involved sitting down for longer periods of time .

I rented this for my bridal shower, I’d say it runs TTS, maybe a bit small (size 8-10). It’s definitely not comfortable and would suck to sit down, but the idea is fun. The caged bubble skirt sort of pops in and out, and looks odd when not popped fully out. If I wore it, I would be concerned about that and probably touching it a lot/not enjoying myself.

This is such a great dress. The bird cage bottom is not great for sitting but this is a standing cocktail dress if there ever was one! I am a true 0 and find that Bronx runs small so I got a 0 and am glad.

This is a steal. Definitely rent it! I would recommend wearing something underneath, as the corset might irritate your skin, but otherwise, it's perfect!

It was itchy on the inside with the lining and the crinoline. I solved this with some fashion tape on the inside. Otherwise I think it would have hurt long term.

Have been wanting this type of dress from B&B but then when I finally got it, was so disappointed with the look. Just felt too long and like not fitted enough, so I didn’t wear it. Unfortunate because it is so pretty!

The dress is cute, but there is a hard wired piece underneath that keeps the form. This was warped and made the bumpy part go inwards instead of out.

I got this as a potential 2nd dress for my wedding but the inside is a hard plastic mesh. I understand it’s to keep the shape, but there’s no liner over it so it’s like a cheese grater on your skin. The cap sleeves are also so tight that you can’t raise your arms more than 90°. Aesthetically it’s nice, but not stunning in person. I was so excited about this and then do disappointed when it arrived.

The bubble skirt was miss-shaped and some of the flowers were falling off. The top was very flattering so I’m sad it didn’t work out

This dress had the chance to be beautiful unfortunately it is just not designed correctly. The zipper on the back goes from top to bottom. This wouldn’t be an issue if there wasn’t a “cage” in the dress to make it appear to bubble out. Since there is the zipper in the back the cage sews into each side of the zipper giving you two bubble butt cheeks. If the zipper had stopped at the cage part it would have been perfect. Also, should note not the comfiest material. I do not recommend this dress.
