I love this dress. It fit perfectly! I was able to wear my high heels and the dress still touched the floor. I’m 5’9” The fabric was soft. Not too thin but not too heavy. Perfect for a winter night in TX. I received multiple compliments on the fit and the dress.

It was the perfect dress for a Mardi Gras party. It was fun and flattering to wear.

I sized up based upon other reviews and was swimming in the dress. Luckily, the smaller size was available. The dress is gorgeous! I got so many compliments.

This dress was beautiful. The fabric caught the light and sparkled. It fit perfectly! I am only 5ft tall, so with heels it was still floor length, not mid-length like the photos. The waistline was a little snug but was not uncomfortable at all. If you have a small chest, it may be a little big on top. I was ale to wear a normal bra, which is a plus!

The long sleeve has a Joan Collins Jr. shoulder pad (sorry I don’t have it pictured). The material is fabulously shiny, and the dress was comfortable. I am a true pear, small up top and rounder at the bottom (thanks middle age) so I can see for some folks that the middle part could be tight. The slit up the side is a thing, but only showed up when I was walking around and then it was just amazing dramatic flair. If I didn’t love renting so much, I would buy this. BTW earrings are rented as well (gas Bijoux. Bo Cavailo – very light weight for my old lady earlobes)

I'm 5'9" so I ordered the long and it would have been perfect with normal heels, but I went with kittens to be more comfortable and the back was about an inch on the floor. Didn't bother me too much but had to be extra careful walking! Order up for the waists if you can. Leg slit will blow open but it's not high enough to flash anyone.

I was able to work my way into it because it does have a big zipper! But it was tight only right there. Once I had it on, it felt totally fine! Definitely will rent again

I wore this dress to a Christmas party and it was a beautiful fit and flow, the sparkle was just enough to catch the light and give off this purple regal vibrance! I love the asymmetrical top and the long billowed sleeve. I felt elegant and comfortable.

Wore for a Mardi Gras themed invitational. I am 5’9”/ 190lbs with an hourglass figure. This dress fit in all the right places. I paired with a gold belt, sandals and accessories. Note if you are tall like me, you cannot wear heels.

I LOVED wearing this dress. I felt like a Grecian goddess. The skirt is flowy and the train looks lovely down a flight of steps (as does the slit). It’s a bit tight to zip so be sure to have an extra pair of hands. Highest recommendation!

This dress made me feel fabulous! I wore it to a Children’s Hospital Gala that was Willy Wonka themed. It’s a tiny bit snug around the ribs as everyone else says, but a high waisted skimming panty helped w/ that (if I’d sized up- it would have been way too big). The fabric is flowy and the slit is dramatic (prepare to strut your stuff!) My only negative was that the button on the sleeve was detached so I had to out my sewing skills to work for about 3 minutes. Also- shout out to RTR customer service who hooked me up with backup options when the larger size of this dress wasn’t available as promised.)

Wore this to a black tie wedding and received so many compliments! I’m just under 5’4 was a teensy but long. A tad too big in the chest only because the side part hung down a bit but I wore a nude strapless bra. I ordered the small and the medium and went with the small. Beautiful dress!

I have a very rectangular torso and this was a very flattering cut. Very comfortable. Slightly tight through the ribs compared to other smalls. Petite was perfect length with a 3” heel.

10/10 recommend for a wedding or other formal event! This gown made me feel like a princess all evening!

My pic doesn’t do it justice, but this dress is so beautiful and flowy. I got so many compliments all night. I wore the XL and it fit, but it was tight when I zipped it up. Manageable, but tight. My perimenopause waist isn’t as narrow as it once was. Ha! But shapewear helped. I also used a strapless bra and put the strap on for the one side that has the sleeve, for extra security. A couple of strips of fashion tape ensured my bra wasn’t exposed on the sleeveless side but if you use a black undergarment it would probably look fine if it peeked out. No one would notice. I’m 5’8” and with a 3 1/2 inch heel, the dress was the perfect length. Stayed above the ground, wouldn’t get caught up in my heels, and wasn’t too short. It’s glamorous how it flows and moves when walking, but be aware that the slit is high enough that a gust of wind will expose your upper thighs and possibly show any undergarment you have on underneath if it’s covering your thighs. I pulled up the short leg on the side that would be more exposed to ensure no one saw my Spanx. I was told by others it had a glam 70s disco vibe. I’ll take it!!!

I ordered the medium and the large and when trying it on beforehand, the medium (my usually size) was pretty tight. The large fit much better even though it was just a teeny bit loose. Come the day of the event I packed the wrong one and had to squeeze myself into it.. the zipper was SO HARD to zip up but once it was up, it fit amazing! So my suggestion is to definitely size up if you’re in between sizes! After my fitting snafu (which was totally my own fault), I got so many compliments and it twirled like magic. Plus, you could show off leg if you wanted to but it still could be very demure because the slit is very peek-a-boo in a great way. There are no pockets.

I would definitely size up if you don’t have a super tiny waist. This dress was gorgeous. I literally received compliments all evening.

OBSESSED with this dress. I wore it to a Star Wars themed wedding (“black tie optional”) and it was perfect. The skirt has some weight so there’s a lot of fun movement. You can have your leg peek out or keep it covered. The fabric is subtly shimmery and a gorgeous shade of purple. I felt like I was red carpet ready (or ready to be a Senator in the Star Wars universe!). One note - I recommend using tape instead of a bra since a bra would peek out the side a little bit.

I’m typically a size 8, bust size 34 B and typically wear size large for dresses. For this dress, I wore size medium and fit me just fine. Waist was not tight, I think if you have a fuller bust, maybe a large would be best. Received a lot of compliments. Everyone loved the dress!

The full sleeve and full skirt made me feel very covered and a side sweep with my hair down kept me from feeling to exposed. So many compliments. The waistband is snug but had no trouble with my normal size. Did have to use some fashion tape for my smaller bust

I would get your true size then size up also for the additional size!

The purple of this dress is just stunning! Based on other reviews, I went up a size and it fit perfectly. The skirt of the dress is sexy but not too revealing at all. It’s fun, flirty, and sophisticated. The perfect dress for my engagement photoshoot. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved this gown! I got the small (and a medium as a backup size) and was a little nervous at first that the small wouldn’t fit based on another review I saw, but it worked perfectly. It is a little longer in length, so make sure you wear some heels so the dress doesn’t drag. 10/10 recommend!
