The slit is extremely high but I just pin the sides a bit and it was perfect.

WOW! So first off, definitely size up! I am typically a 10 in dresses and the XL was perfect. I could see where curvier ladies struggle with this fit though. The slit is HIGH but so gorgeous. I got so many compliments and the color is incredible!

I had to use a little fabric tape on the dress in some area but man oh man was this dress given so many compliments. It was so fun to dance in as well!

I usually wear a M or L but in this dress I had to go with the XL. The top was perfect for my large chest and I didn’t need to pin it. The slit for me was just right and not too high. The ruffles cover a lot. I would rent this again!

As others mentioned, this is def a dress for busty girls (large top area). However, for flatter chested ppl it is beautiful with a discreet pin, turning the deep-V into a classy high-neck dress. Tons of compliments, great to dance in. Highly recommend this really beautiful dress!

I wore this dress to a Michelin star restaurant in Italy and it was not too dressy/formal (but would be in most restaurants). You need two safety pins/underlays - one for the top and one for the slit. But easy fixes. Not traditionally sexy but my husband loved and I got a lot of compliments!

I loved this dress - other reviewers are right the side has high slit, you can easily address this though with two safety pins. Cannot notice with the ruffles. The breasts were pretty large in this dress, I addressed as best I could with fashion tape but all in all still loved the look, many compliments.

Felt very elegant, the side train was a little long for me since I'm 5'2" and was wearing heals. The top part was a little too big for my chest.

I wore this to a formal wedding in DC in April. I wasn't tall enough to keep the shoulder pads up so my shoulders got sore by the end of the night from always adjusting. And the back of the dress drags along the ground, but I had measured and knew this before renting. This was a back up dress for another that was too long but this had a short front so I knew I wouldn't trip. I received so many compliments and the pattern and ruffles were so fun.

Loved this dress!! Gorgeous design, colors, etc. Some things to know about sizing: a little big on the top but I have a small upper body and the slit is high with the fabric being long! The ruffles help it not seem risqué with how high the slit is, but something to know if you're shorter is how long the trail is- plan to wear heels for sure! Overall absolutely gorgeous and would rent again

Loved this dress, it was perfect for a spring wedding. This dress was fitted at the waist, the slit was high but was able to secure it. Received lots of compliments. I am 5'9 and weigh 150 size 6 fit perfect. So happy with this rental.

Loved this for an engagement party in ATX. The slip is very high but fixed that problem with se fashion tape. I'm 5'10' for reference. Loved it would wear again.

Stunning fit. The slit is high and I hate my legs but it didn't bother me because I loved the dress so much. Kind of hung and shaded my leg, if you will. Two pieces of fabric tape closed the ruffle about 6 inches with no risk of tugging or pulling open. And because of the ruffle it looked like it was made that way. If you have great legs you'll want to leave it open. It's not risqué looking. At 5'6" with 3" heels I didn't step/trip on the ruffle.

Beautiful fun dress, but the slit is very high. A little fabric tape and it was just fine! The ruffles let you close it up without noticeable difference. It’s also very long on the one side- again, fine with wedges- caution if you’re short as I’m 5’9” and it drug on the ground for me.

Absolutely loved this dress BUT If you have ANY hips, order a size or two up. This dress is so beautiful and perfect for a wedding, lots of compliments. I used a safety pin to ensure the slit up the thigh didn’t expose too much.

This dress was definitely long (most things are long on me though) and the chest was a little big even for me (I'm a DDD) and I had to pin it. The slit is also pretty high (the ruffles do a good job covering it) and would be perfect for someone a little taller than me. However, I did truly LOVE it. Super comfortable and flattering, got so many compliments on it! I thought the shoulder pads would be a little weird but they were not noticeable or uncomfortable at all.

I loved this dress, it was comfortable and very lovely looking. The slit is not too up. The only problem was that the shoulder pad on the right side was knotted so it looked odd, but I pulled it back and it was not noticeable. Recommend!

This is definitely one of my favorite rentals I have ever gotten. I had to use fashion tape to keep the front of the dress closed and the belt kept untying. Otherwise this dress was perfection. Like other reviewers said, the side goes waaaaay up high so you definitely need to be careful.

Beautiful dress! It's well made and felt amazing on my body. There's no stretch in this dress. I'm typically a size 8 and had to wear the XL. It fit perfectly for the most part. The bust was about a 1/4 too big (and I'm quite busty, 32G) but gave the low cut drape I wanted. The high side of the dress is VERY high (do not let the ruffles fool you). I had to tuck up my sharpewear so it didn't show. I'm sure my entire leg was exposed when I sat down. If you're modest do not get this dress.

I wore this to an opera and felt like a princess! Beware of the shoulder pads! I was not expecting them and in close up pictures they totally swallowed my neck. Besides those, and the slightly tight bodice, I enjoyed wearing it and received so many compliments. Leggy and tall girls are perfect for this dress.

I am a small size 6 and this fit really well on my body but there was so much fabric in the bust that there was no way I could wear it. I also got a dress with one of the shoulder pads scrunched up and there was no way to straighten or flatten it out as it's sewn in. Beautiful pattern and would've love for it to fit but not for women with small chests!

I wanted to love this, but it showed my entire lower stomach (fupa). Nothinggg flattering there. It was very tight in my upper arm area too. Not comfy at all. The fabric was pretty, but it runs soo small that I couldn't even zip it up by my chest. I got an XXL, which usually fits fine, but this was a hell no :-( As others mentioned, the slit goes WAYYY up high, up to your butt cheek. So I def would of needed to pin that, had it fit. For reference I am 5'6 and 200lbs with a 44DDD chest.

The dress is a beautiful quality and fabric. The shorter side is extremely short , and the top was very big on top. The waist area was very flattering .
