This is an excellent, functional ski jacket - I've worn it for long ski days in 10-15F (+ wind chill) and it performed really well. (For a $1400 jacket, you would certainly hope so!) I sized up to the 8, which was the right decision because I wanted to fit a base layer and a vest under it.

This jacket sits mid-hip is super light without bulk and extremely warm. Can easily wear under layers without feeling bulky.

waterproof, warm jacket with lift pass pocket. kept me warm during blizzard conditions are whistler. I did size up so I could wear more layers under, but it was warm enough that I only wore two thin thermals.

I wore this all season long for skiing. Top-of-the-line waterproof fabric and insulation. It has a slight give for active movement. I would order a size up to fit more layers underneath if it's below 25 degrees.

Wore this during my first ski trip. Was warm and comfortable. Covered my butt without feeling to long and restrictive. I ordered the 46 as it was the only one available. I usually wear a small in tops and jackets, so I was surprised that this one wasn't too big. I was able to wear layers under it and still have plenty of room. I recommend this one.
