I rented these for skiing in Switzerland in January.. worn in 15 degree weather with no layers underneath and felt perfectly warm. I'm 5' 6" 130lbs (right now ;) and typically a 27/28 in jeans.. some brands a 26. I wore the 42 and they were perfect! Ps the RTR model pic shows true color of pants.. my pic makes them look a little brighter for some reason

These ski pants are excellent quality though small due to the fleece lining. Would be perfect for super cold blizzard type conditions but could be too warm for spring or sunny ski days. Needed next size as these are a smaller fit

These looked great. They definitely run a little Small and I wasn't able to fit all my usual underneath layers on with them.

I purposely ordered these pants ahead of time to try them on with my bottom layer before taking them to Wyoming for a ski trip, and thankfully I did. I am a true size 0 or juniors 1 in pants and ordered the 38R which was way to tight everywhere, and was not able to fit a layer underneath. This item truly runs on European sizing which runs smaller than US sizing. I ordered the 42 instead and was able to fit a layer underneath and they were loose but snug enough on the legs, but need a belt to keep them up. These will definitely keep you warm though!
