I loved this dress- the fit felt true to size. It was difficult to lift my arms high due to the tightness of the sleeves, but otherwise I was comfortable all night.

I read the reviews about the dress and they said the arms were tight. I ordered a size up because I work out and lift weights. I was glad that I did because the dress fit great. I received lots of complaints about the dress. Was a great selection for my event.

It's very comfortable and provided enough material that I wasn't freezing. It's sexy because of the midriff being transparent, but then it balances that with the length of the dress. I got so many compliments and the pictures turned out excellent. I wore a strapless bra and it looked great. The lace is beautiful.

LOVED this dress! I stuffed the sleeves with towels overnight (thanks to the reviewer who left that tip!) and it helped loosen up the upper body, which also stretched it and became more comfortable. The waist and hips fit well, maybe even had a little room to give. I'm 5'7" athletic 148lbs, 32DD, 29" waist and 40" hips and wore the Large.

This dress is fantastic. I got the medium, and thankfully so, because it runs small. The medium fit perfectly, but like a glove. Any smaller and the arms would be too tight, I also had to do a little hop in and out of the car. So many compliments and the dress is super flattering. Great style and looks amazing in pictures.

Ok so the reviews arw true. This dress has no give or stretch in it. That said, once you force yourself into it you will feel like a million bucks. Ive never felt more beautiful in a dress. Im 5'3", 150 lbs and a 36DD. I needed a friend to zip me (the zipper is tiny and impossble to do yourself) and the dress completely smashed my boobs. That was kinda a good thing though because you cant wear a bra so it definitely held them in place and with the lace istill had cleavage. Id also like to say that i wore the large and the bottom half fit comfortably. It was more the chest and arms that were super tight. Overall loved this dress!

I wore this to a rehearsal dinner. It was beautiful and got lots of compliments. The down side was the arms and chest were super tight! And that is usually my thin area! The hips were good though; comfortable to sit. Overall this was a nice rental, but i doubt anyone over a size 8 could ever wear this dress!

Alexis runs REALLY small. It fit like a glove - - ordered a large (I know my size in Alexis), wore the large. I wore it to a family funeral - - so excuse the bathroom photo. It was only time I could sneak away and take a photo. :)

Followed advice and sized up to a large-- I usually wear a 6 and my arms are pretty slender. Dress fit well and was a tea length-- which I normally wouldn't like but the slit in the back allowed me to show some calf. Great dress for a catholic wedding and reception! I liked the illusion of being covered up but not.

Be prepared for it to be tight, it fit like a glove but was tight on my arms and gave me some small irritations where my arm bends. Other than that, I highly recommend this dress for any occasion! It's beautiful. I would have bought if it was a little less expensive!

I'm usually in between smalls and mediums. Went up to a medium due to reviews and it was tight but the right size for me. I have skinny arms and I was surprised how tight the arms were. Feels and looks high quality. Not the most comfortable but if it fits you right, it's a real show stopper. My husband liked it a lot.

I was skeptical about this dress originally, but it ended up being the best dress EVER. I got so many compliments on this dress, random ladies were literally coming up to me just to tell me they loved it. Great statement piece, unique, comfy, and tasteful. I wore a leather jacket with it since it was a winter wedding and it was a match made in heaven

The reviews are correct, the fit model for the arms must have been a twig. The dress is beautifully proportioned otherwise. Truly a stunning option for the cocktail party charity event we attended. I normally wear a small or a 4 in anything form fitting, but tried the medium first and since the arms were already tight, h never even tried the small. I am definitely pear shaped and this dress was perfect for my small top and larger hips and butt. Couldn't have found a better dress!

I wanted to love this dress… was considering a purchase but wound up not wearing at all. As most reviewers mention, the arms are tight, size up! There is absolutely zero stretch to this lace, combined with the tight arms and lining that needs adjusting once on, this dress is a struggle to move all the pieces into the right places and impossible to zip on your own. I’m a few inches short of zipping in the photo. Surprised I didn’t rip in my attempts. It has an open lace in the back so either you can’t wear a bra or your bra band shows. It’s just a black lining to cover your boobs, no support, so if you have any sagging, you may peak out the bottom through the lace, or if your strapless bra is larger, it may peak out as well. This dress is better suited for smaller (high and tight) boobs. The lace is fairly itchy and wouldn’t want to wear an entire night. Gorgeous concept, just not enjoyable once on. Amazing dress for specific body types, just not for me

I read the reviews and was concerned about sizing. I am usually a 2 but can go up to a 4 or down to a 0 depending on the style. Since this runs XS, S,M, L, I decided to order the XS and S. When the dresses arrived I tried on the small first and never tried the extra small because the small fit. The arms are tight, they didn’t bother me as I do not have a big upper body or arms, The dress is form fitting. No stretch but really comfortable. It was a little hard to get the zipper up and down and on the back it looked like the lace was loose, almost like a hole near the zipper but was not an issue. I love the dress. It’s so different and beautiful- I got lots of compliments. If you rent, order your size and one up as the backup. Loved it!

I rented this dress for a Gala and it was stunning. The arms are tights like they say in other reviews but not uncomfortable. I received so many compliments from so many women at the Gala. In the bathroom and girls walking by.

I cannot even get over how gorgeous this dress is. I've used RTR quite a few times for wedding and special event dresses and have never gotten more compliments than I did wearing this piece. Like many others have mentioned... the arms are unreasonably small. Like so small that I had to have someone zip me up and unzip me or else the dress would have ripped. I stuffed towels in the arms to help the lace "give". But still, all that being said I wish I could own this dress!

Went into the RTR store in DC when the dress I ordered originally didn't show. The staff was great and this dress is classy, elegant, and fun. I wore it to my boyfriend's grad school formal and it was perfect. I have a small frame and it fit in all the right places. Good for petite, great lace detail, and I got lots of compliments.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous - I was sad to take it off and send it back! It fits pretty true to size and was comfortable to wear dancing and dining at the wedding I wore it to. Definitely recommend renting this dress - you won't regret it. Super glam and unique!

5'6" 135lbs. Small bust / big butt. I'm l a DJ and I rented this dress for a marketing promo shoot. This dressssssss omg Feel like a Queen. It's so classy, sexy and just perfect. The only thing I didn't expect is that while I ordered a large based on the reviews (I wouldn've ordered a medium) the sleeves and top are extremely small. My arms aren't small. I do have issues sometimes because my breasts are very small and my arms are kind of athletic and kinda big. But I couldn't even get this dress zipped up because it wouldn't go over my arms. I went ahead with the photo shoot anyway because I loved it so much and I wasn't attending an event so it didn't matter my wings hid the zipper. But i literally could not fit into the arms so if you are thinking about this dress I would go one if not two sizes bigger. Worn to a formal gala event. A little big in the bust area but the dress fit amazing. Both men and women were coming up to me to compliment the dress. It's different and beautifully detailed.

I highly considered buying this dress after wearing it out for a nice dinner and drinks. The pattern is super unique and the dress is really comfortable. The sleeves were a little tight, but they loosened up during the course of the evening. The slip skirt rides up a bit as you walk, which was a little annoying, but it didn't stop me from loving this piece.

This is the most incredible dress. Its sexy, sophisticated, unique... People told me it was amazing, and I felt like a star. It was great for my rehearsal dinner. Notes: I went without a bra (34d) because I hate backless bras, and it was fine. The arms were REALLY tight, and they don't budge, so if you lift or have bigger arms, this won't work. I managed to get in, but it was so close, and you have to be careful of the lace. My bicep is 12", so measure your arm! The rest fit like a glove; my measurements are: 38, 30, 43 and I'm 5'7".

Ok I loved this dress in the photos but trying it on, it reached a whole new level of love. I felt like a princess! Dress fit me to a T! I have hips and curves and it fit in all the right areas. Definitely get a size up. Arms are tight and hard to lift arms over head. This event had dancing and it was a bit tough to dance in. The material is beautiful and I got many compliments. This is my favorite dress I have ever rented.

I'm normally a medium and I fit comfortably in a large. It's gorgeous and totally body con. I felt really pretty in it.

This dress fit well however, the sleeves were a bit snug.
