This dress was fun to pair with different tights. The midsection is just yarn so if you don’t want skin to show pull those tights up high! Also you need to have a good strapless bra or go braless. I chose the latter. I love this designer and this look I am so in love with. Feminine and youthful without looking like I am trying to be younger than I am.

This dress makes you feel like you are perfect in all the best areas. I felt pretty and comfortable. It comes in another color, I might try that one too.

Flattering A line fit and just the right amount of sexy

I wore this dress to my sister's wedding shower and got lots of compliments. I echo what everyone said about the zipper. You will probably need help with it. I have a small waist and lots of off the rack dresses are too loose on my waist. This one fit perfectly as if I had gotten it tailored.

I loved that this dress was conservative, but also flirty. The color combination was fun and easy to match. The material was heavy, but perfect for late winter/early spring. My only complaint was that the panel that covered my chest was barely long enough. I am 34D and I found myself pulling the fabric down throughout the night, I do not know if others would be aware of this, but it made me paranoid.

Dress was beautiful and heavy (in a good quality kind if way). I receievd so many compliments. Even with the shorter length it was still perfect for a formal wedding. I love Alexis everything and this dress lived up to the standards. I usually wear a 4 or 6 in a dress, and although you cant tell in this picture the dress hung loosely. It was the look i wanted but if you want a tight, body hugging lace dress i would size down.

Lovely lace! Running true to size, we suggest sizing up for backup due to the fitted bust and natural waist. The fabric also has no stretch, so we recommend for A to C cup sizes. I wore the size M and it was a perfect fit! Due to the lace detailing on top, this style should be worn with a strapless bra. The midsection is sheer, which adds a bit of edge to the look! I would pair this look with cute studs and a high ponytail to complete the look.

I rented this for opening day at the races. It was a beautiful dress, true to size. The material is very thick so good for a cool day. The panel that covers the chest is very small, impossible to wear a normal bra. I ended up getting a light blue tank to wear underneath and you could not tell at all. Overall would highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite dresses in a long time. It is special and beautiful and unusual and very flattering. I wore it twice in one day, to a party and then to a fundraiser. It fit me very well, and I felt beautiful in it. I am so tempted to buy it! The fabric is lovely and very nicely made. It feels very high quality. The lining is sewn into the bottom of the skirt and then sewn in as a band across the bust. The shoulders and midriff are not lined. I wore a regular nude bra. Navy pumps looked nice (with bare legs) for daytime. Don't wear a lot of jewelry on your arms as that can catch on the lace. It's really a special dress!

Got a lot of compliments on this dress. The material is thick and structured; it feels high quality. I did not have to wear a bra underneath as the fabric was thick enough for support.

I chose my size based on other reviews and women of similar height, weight, and body type, which was a perfect fit for me. The dress is a little heavy because of all of the details but it truly fit so wonderfully. It’s difficult to wear a regular bra with this and I couldn’t really fit a strapless bra either so I just used boob tape and that was perfect.

This brand runs small usually and i was on the fence between small and medium but the small fit great! Shoes were a little tricky, but I had shoes that were the same color blue and had a clear strap and they worked great!

My dress barely zipped up in my size and I’m a 32 (small) D. If you look closely part of the bottom half of my boob shows. It really is beautiful and unique…not “slimming” per se but still photographs well. If you are a D or larger I wouldn’t recommend.

I wore this dress to my company's annual meeting awards ceremony in Las Vegas. It was absolutely perfect! I received many compliments and felt super confident. The only complaint I have is the lining in the top, which is a bandeau. I wore a regular nude color bra, which was fine. I have a large busy and there was some under boob. It was very noticeable and did not change my love for the dress.

This was my first RTR rental and I loved this dress. I wore it to a wedding and got compliments all night. I'm quite hippy (like size 2/4 on top, and 6/8 on the bottom) and the medium worked perfectly for me. I wore a regular nude bra because you can't really see the straps through the lace. The top rode up a bit, some fashion tape helped, but it wasn't too noticeable. Overall great first rental!

I was super comfortable wearing this dress to a wedding in New England at the end of Sept. The quality of the fabric was, of course, great and the body not too form fitting. Lots of material at the skirt made it great for eating whatever and dancing. Looks of compliments thanks to its uniqueness.

This dress was so cute and looked amazing. I loved it so much that I wore it twice for two separate book events. It's just so darling and so cute but still had a little edge to it. Just gorgeous. The only con is that the zipper was very difficult to maneuver. I had a tough time getting it up and down but besides that--- the best!

This dress is beautiful and classy. It fit well overall, at the waist for me it was def big but you couldn't notice. I wore it for a bridal shower and i got quite a few compliments. I would definitely rent this dress again.

It is an amazingly made dress with a lot of embroidery and detail, making it feel a little bit like wearing a costume, in a good way. The skirt hangs very well, but the dress is tight around the chest, even at a size L. Didn't realise from the pictures that the ribs and upper abs are exposed under the top embroidered fabric which looks sexy, but makes it inappropriate for the office.

This was a compliment magnet! I could've went down a size but you couldn't tell because how much was going on! The dress is heavy.

Wore this for a love-themed engagement party and it was perfect. The bra was a little tricky given the size of the light blue panel on the chest- definitely a little underboob action- but was not a huge issue. Surprisingly comfortable given the fabric. Size was perfect for me. Would rent again!

I wore to work- it was amazing. Loved all the flattery I received all day long - photos do not do this dress justice - the ONLY issue I had was - since I didn't wear a bra with the dress- didn't think of wearing cups or strapless bra- lol- the more I moved - the more my breasts wished to slowly fall from the top position - so every few hours - I would adjust- no biggie for me- worth the fashion statement- but now that o reflect- could have been solved with cups or a strapless bra

It was so well-made and beautiful. I got so many compliments. The colors are so unique and easily make it an all-season dress. I didn't have to wear a bra with it because there was enough structure to it. However, as a 32DD, I did have to lift and readjust a few times. Luckily no wardrobe malfunctions! I wore nude ankle strap sandals which worked perfectly. I didn't want to part with it!
