Great fit. Wore the medium. I am 130 and 5'6. The dress was a perfect fit in medium. I received so many compliments!

I rented this dress for a fall wedding in New Jersey. It was a little chilly, but ended up being a nice evening for this dress. I really did enjoy the fit of the dress, but o think being a shorter girl the length just made me look frumpy and short. I would probably recommend this dress to a taller and more curvy woman. It's also very conservative...which was perfect for the catholic wedding I attended. I probably wouldn't wear it to any other type of wedding.

This dress is BEAUTIFUL! Perfect for my sister's wedding at a castle in Spain!! It is a fitted cut, and was cut too short for my long torso, but it was so beautiful I didn't mind that much. No bra, I actually pinned cups into the lining. The lining was a little short, but I'm also over 5'10". Compliments all night, everyone loves the back! I will definitely consider renting again, possibly in a size bigger for added length.

Runs small, I am usually a small and the medium was a little snug in certain areas. Regardless, fit and hugged well. Great for a formal event, and loved the color. Got compliments all night!

This dress looks best without tights but it's January in Chicago. I LOVE Alexis. It's a muted color, reddish-peach. Back detail lays perfectly. I am tiny and wore the medium. Right amount of sexy and classy. Superb quality. Cannot wear a bra, or just a half sticky one. Lace back, see through. I was nervous over the length, but the lining is short so it worked great. I loved it. I will rent one of Alexis's similar dresses in the future. Wore to dinner and Hamilton.

I'm 5'4 and the small fit perfectly. I wore this dress to my work holiday party and got so many compliments on it. It's very classy with a little bit of sexy with the opening in the back. Overall loved it.

Amazing dress! Smaller than expected. Glad I sized up. I wear 4-6 and almost always a medium and this was fitted as a large. I have a large ribcage 37" and 34D and it still fit. Needed help with zipping the top portion as the lace isn't stretchy on the arms. Tighter on the arms and I don't have guns or anything. 27" waist and it was loose but not gapping or anything obvious. 40" hips and muscular thighs but a modest (i.e smaller) butt and it fit well without being too tight or riding up. The under slip is pretty short and the slit in the back is high. I have a short torso so not too noticeable despite being tall. Fine for non-work event but just good for tall people to know. I was able to not wear a bra and feel supported. Love this dress

Wore this for my sister's rehearsal dinner. I ordered the small and medium and wore the medium. I'm 5'7, 140, athletic build. The medium was even tight but the fabric is stretchy and forgiving. I didn't wear a bra. I absolutely loved this dress

The dress is amazing! Perfect for cocktail hour or a wedding. The back has a cute little cutout. I just threw a cardigan over it when I wore it to work. Tons of compliments.

I wore this to a business event, but the open back provided a little edge. The top back of the dress is all lace, so you can't wear a bra without it showing through. Also, I went up a size and it fit like a glove!

AMAZING color for fall! Perfect length, even though I am short! The sleeves were tight, so if you have athletic arms this might be tight on you!

Loved the length, it’s a bit different than the average cocktail dress. The dress is form fitting but not super revealing which was good for a church wedding. I also like how the cutout in the back was a little lower than many dresses, I think it was more flattering. Even after wearing it I can’t decide whether this dress is red or pink. Either way, it looked good! Normally I would wear a small but the thin black piece around the waist has no stretch which would have made sitting down super uncomfortable. The small also seemed a little unflattering in the stomach zone. The dress construction seemed really good except for the clasp above the zipper which was wonky from previous renters. 5’4” 120lb 34A

I was worried it might feel itchy, particularly in the sleeves, but it felt amazing on my skin. The conservative yet flirty combination of this dress was exactly what I needed for my event. This is only my second RTR experience and it was amazing, AGAIN!

Very fitted! I've definitely gained some weight in the last year, but I'd say it runs a bit small. SO glad I ordered the 2nd one as a size up and not down. Very pretty dark coral/brick red color with black details. I wore with black wedges to a winter wedding. Some people said the slip was too short, I didn't have an issue with it. I would say it' s probably not for you if you have a large chest. I do not, and there was no extra room in the chest. Even with the medium, it was pretty tight. Would definitely order again! Would purchase if it weren't so expensive. The only think that bothered me was at the bottom of the top zipper in back (there are 2), the zipper "tape" was really rough on one edge and sort of chafed my skin on my back when moving around. Another nice thing - arm sleeves weren't too small. I have that issue sometimes with blouses or dresses. They were fine.

I'm usually a size 2/XS. However, this brand does run small. I ordered a S and a M back up and ended up wearing the S. But the M wasn't much bigger.

It's a beautiful dress and received lots of compliments. I'm 5'8 and wear a size 6/ 8 depending on the brand. I would say the bottom layer did come up a little high for me, but my torso is super long. Overall a beautiful dress and worth it

Loved this dress! Was perfect for a fall barn/winery wedding. The color is awesome and the cutout in the back is really fun. It is tight on top so if you have a bigger bust, definitely size up! I would not have needed a bra if I wore the XS but it was a bit too tight so I wore the S with a backless bra. Like other reviews said, the slip is short but it was pretty well attached to the outer lace layer and didn't ride up when I walked/danced - just a bit when I sat down. It does not have any stretch at all but was comfortable. The bottom part of the zipper for the top part rubbed against my back and was a bit annoying by the end of the night but nothing terrible. Got a ton of compliments!

I loved this dress and felt great in it. I was able to get away with wearing a regular light tan bra with it and the straps were not noticeable which was a plus! The slip is pretty high when you sit down and they slit up the back felt high, but none of that was really noticeable with the long lace.

I loved the laced back! Wore without a bra, no pasties needed due to the lace. Yes, the slip is short, but it sexy <3. A little tight in the shoulder area. The zipper is unique and takes practice. You definitely need a friend to get you in this dress.

This dress is amazing and sexy! Perfect for a date night. The dress runs true to size and I recommend going one size p for the back up size. The fabric has no stretch. The dress is very fitted at the waist and hip area. Should be worn with a strapless bra and nude under garments. The overlay comes right below my knee and the underlay stops mid thigh. You are sure to get million compliments in this dress! I love it!

LOVED this dress. I wore it to my masquerade themed sorority formal and received so many compliments. This dress made me feel like one of the classiest and most sophisticated women in the room. I'm about 5'4" so the extra length in the dress went down to my mid-calf. The nude underlay of the dress stopped just above my knees, so I ended up fashion taping the bottom up inside the dress to make it a more suitable and attractive length for my body. However, I would've left the extra length down for an event like a wedding. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat.

This dress has an open back and the lining is too short to wear in a professional setting, but it's perfect for a spring/summer wedding or event! I'll definitely rent it again for that circumstance. It doesn't have any stretch and the size S is equivalent to a size 2. Highly recommend for your next party!

I wanted to give this dress 5-stars. It's beautiful. Perfect for a wedding - very classy, and the fit and the open back make it fun, too. I got tons of compliments. The one drawback is the sizing. I'm usually a size 6-8 for dresses and the large, although I did wear it, was on the verge of being too small. Also, the back zipper was super itchy. But all in all, it was still worth it. Just size up!

Nice dress I wore to company Christmas party. The back cut out is a little tight, you cannot wear a regular bra. It's a good length. The slip is very short though and does ride up a little bit but it was very pretty. It was comfortable.

I wore this to a baby shower (it was probably a little too formal to wear to a baby shower). You never know what XS means with RTR but usually it's my size or slightly too big. This one was a little small! Really tight around my waist (26 in) and there was just a little "back smushing" happening because of that. Also the underskirt and the back slit are really high!!! So just be wary!! But I got a tons of compliments and lots of "I need that dress" from several women, so that was nice! I would def wear this again! I think I'd get the small instead of the XS to feel a little more comfortable!

My fiancé loved this dress on me, but I felt like it wasn't super flattering around the tummy area. I rented a few dresses for a wedding and ended up going with another one because this dress was pretty tight on me. I wore it to work with a cardigan to cover the open back. You'd need to wear a petal bra with it. If you're taller the lining will be very short on you but worked ok for me.

Loved the detail on this dress from the collar to the design of the back. I rented a larger size than I'd normally wear so there was some extra fabric on the side. Overall, loved the dress!

I rented this dress for a outdoor/barn memorial weekend wedding. The fit was excellent, only issue is the slit in the back was VERY high, making me check my behind often. Overall, I would rent again!

Beautiful dress. Can't wear a bra because of the back. But the slit in the back is very high on a 5'8" person... came right to under my bum! And slip is short. Tried to capture in photo. But.......it's a fun dress!

I loved the pics of this dress on the site and while size M fit me in another Alexis dress, I know that clingy dresses can be tricky with my hips, so I get an L for my second size. And I ended up wearing the L! The M was tight in the bust (and I'm not big) AND the hips/bottom. Definitely order a size up! Overall, it wasn't the most flattering style for my figure (tall and slim, but with booty and wide hips)-- and the back cutout did make it tricky with a bra (I wore a black bra, tried to pass my lingerie off as part of the look). Also, the underslip, though attached to the dress, rode up a lot. I got lots of compliments on the dress, particularly from men, but I'm not sure I'd rent it again. Definitely a fun dress and a fashion statement for the someone with the right figure, though.
