Gorgeous dress with a 70s vibe. It definitely fit true to size. Perhaps a little short for some people. I am 5 foot six and it fit great.

The dress was really comfy and heavy so perfect for a fall event. I had to use a lot of fashion tape in the chest area, probably should have worn an XS but loved this dress. I felt like a fashion model on the runway :)

The Black Harper Dress runs true to size and I would suggest going a size up for back up. It has a deep v cut in the bust area and great for any bust size. The fabric of the dress has stretch and it is not fitted at the waist nor hips. The length is a mini to mid thigh. Want to channel your inner Kim Kardashian for a sleek clean look, minimum accessories with a statement heel should have all heads turned.

The material wrinkles easily, but other than that it was wonderful. A little on the short side, but I didn't have a problem with that.

I loved this dress. Its heavy and the sleeves are beautiful. The material was a tiny bit wrinkled but not enough to be noticeable on black fabric. There was also a small white stain on the front that rubbed off easily. Dresses were packaged beautifully btw. I love how this dress looked on my tall thin frame. I tried both the small and xs and I'd say if you are 5'9" or above, you will want at least a small. The xs was far too short and it was clingy instead of shift like on my 128lb frame. The style is simple, but sexy, i.e. it reads: not trying too hard. I felt beautiful in this dress, and I would absolutely rent it again.

Fits true to size but keep in mind it is not meant to be a fitted dress so there is some excess and wrinkling in the back from waist to shoulder. Not an issue and not really noticeable to anyone but me. I wore it with tights and heeled boots.

I thought it would be a little longer since it wasn't a petite but I just used self tanner and was able to pull it off!

Overall the dress was simple , definitely not a show stopper but very cute with black tights! The fit was loose as expected but fit well in the breast area .

The dress runs short, so I paired it with opaque black tights. I thought the dress ran true to size. If you are a little curvy, I'd recommend going a size up to try to get a little more length. The sleeves make the dress, so much fun for twirling around! I felt a little like a modern day Stevie Nicks in the dress.

This shift dress runs slightly large, but is meant to have a roomy and loose fit. It is a mini dress, I'm 5'5 and I wore it with flat knee high black boots for a slightly more modest look. But this could be paired with heels for some sass! The bell sleeves are fun for dancing and are made of a heavy rich feeling fabric. This is a groovy take on a LBD! Love it, rented it multiple times, highly recommend.

I rented the dress for a winter bachelorette party. It was fun and sassy and perfect for a sexy, but still mature dress. I normally would wear a S/4, but I went with the XS for a shorter hemline. Really enjoyed wearing this!

This dress was true to size. I ordered a small, but ended up wearing the xs because the material was so forgiving and the the length was perfect for a date night out on the town. The material on this dress is such high quality it was so nice...classy & stylish!

This is a great sexy lbd, and very comfortable. I didn't end up wearing it because I'm 5'7" and I rented size L I wouldn't be able to dance in this dress because if I raised my arms the dress wouldn't cover my behind. Wish it were 2 inches longer, loved it otherwise.

This is a nice dress but the material of the main part of the dress (as opposed to the sleeves, which are made of satiny material) is thin crepe and it wrinkles very easily. Plan on steaming out. Easy shift fit.

Too big on the shoulders. normally a size 2 at white house black market. Size S, was too large.

I wore this dress to a NYE party at a nightclub in DC. I picked out the dress at the Georgetown store, which is great if you can do it! However, the dress I picked up was noticeably smaller than the dress I tried on (in the same size). It still fit and I wore it (no backup - what was I thinking?!), but it was a little more snug and a little SHORTER than the one I tried on. Note, this dress is already extremely short and I'm not even 5'2". That being said, it was very comfortable, I felt gorgeous and received many compliments all night.

So, this dress looks great on if you aren't petite - I'm speaking specifically to arm length. This would have been a knockout dress if I was even 5'2. But I am 4'11 and the sleeves went almost entirely over my hands. Needless to say, I couldn't wear it for the event. Besides that, honestly, the fit was great.

Dress fit great and looked good. As for sizing, it was an XS and I usually wear a small. I'm 5'4 and it was short and a little low -- I wore black hose and a bandeau because it was for an office party. I'd totally recommend it.

I wore this to a Christmas party because I fell in love with these sleeves. I am tall and shift dresses look good on me, because they accentuate my legs. This dress, however, is a bit too short; it barely covered my behind. I tried it with leggings, but it loses its appeal as a tunic.

The fit was loose and the sleeves were huge on my 4'11 figure. Great material, and comfortable.

Super cute. Feels great. The fabric and weight are really nice. It's just short. More of a tunic than a dress. Even in a large it would have been too short.

I really liked the look of the dress from the photos from other reviewers.I was a little hesitant because of the neckline. I have very small shoulders, I am 5'5", 105lbs & a 30D. I rented both XS and S. The XS was way too big! the neckline went well below what I could have worn even with the help of a little fashion tape. My husband did not like the look of the sleeves at all, I thought the sleeves made the dress in the photos but agreed they were a little overwhelming. Ended up not wearing.

I'm 5'7", and 56 yrs old, and while the dress did fit....it was WAY too short to be worn for me as a dress. I paired it with leggings and boots and then it worked well. It is big in the shoulders and didn't stay up easily. fell off my very broad shoulders (which is saying a lot!) I'm usually a "S", so the fact that the XS fit me big, means it really does run very large! It's cute though and I'm glad I rented it. No pics, but it did work well for me...as long as I didn't plan to wear as a dress!!
