I got a lot of compliments when i dressed it and honestly i can say this dress has pretty unic style and character. I would to recommend this dress for date. It's gonna be perfect!

Such fun sleeves on this cute cocktail dress! I would definitely size up as there is no stretch to this fabric and it does run a little small. This dress is on the shorter side - it came to about mid thigh on me and I am 5'4". There is not much room in the bust - this works best for A to C bust sizes. It is fitted throughout the waist as well. I would pair this with a nude heel and statement earrings!

Really liked this dress! I wore it to work on a day I had meetings with a cami and tights and low heels to make it appropriate. Took off the cami and tights and added booties to jazz it up for a date after. Got lots of compliments! Think it runs true to size, im small but busty and it fit well. (Ignore the photo here.. from the fitting room and I don't have the right undergarments on!)

This is a beautiful dress but the material has NO stretch. I had to wear it braless with nipple covers bc the bust area was so tight, it couldnt be zipped up and i dont have a large chest. The top of the arms are also tight. I wouldnt rent this if you have a large chest or absolutely must wear a bra. Got lots of complements, the color and sleeves are really pretty. Size up

This dress runs a little small around the rib cage so keep that in mind when ordering. That being said I thought it looked nice. I was a little nervous about the style, I'm a short overweight pear shape (not quite plus size), but I got quite a few complements.

This dress is stunning but unfortunately I could not wear it because it is not made for women with a larger chest. I am a 36D and had rented this for a work event but unfortunately the cleavage was way too much to be comfortable. The sleeves are also heavy FYI. Dress runs small, size up!

This was one of those rare occasion that I opted not to read all the review. I was on a rush, saw this dress, loved it and added it to my cart. If I had read the review before I hit submit, I would have seen this dress runs small in the bust and shoulder area. The prior reviews are accurate, size up. The dress was a little snug in the waist but it wasn't uncomfortable. The seaming did make it challenging to zip up. It was very tight in the arms and shoulder area, and I was unable to move my arms. I struggle to raise my arm for this photo lol. I don't know if ordering a large would fix the arm problem that much but I think it would have helped. Aside from the tight fit, I loved this dress. It is well made and color is prefect for spring. After trying this dress on, I don't think I would wear it to work. It was a little bit lower cut that I am comfortable with at the office. I would order this again in a larger size.

I have a closet full of vintage mod dresses so when I see a modernized one I am always excited to try it. This one is a decent attempt, but not one I have to own. It was a little stiff and maybe had been pressed too many times, so the sleeves weren't quite as cloud-like as the photo shows – they were starting to look more like pleats. The color was nice and the lines were ok, but it was a teensy bit short for work on my tall frame. I was hoping to wear it on a dinner date but it didn't feel quite sexy or fun enough so I sent it back after the one wear. A fun rental but nothing to gush over.

This dress runs TINY! I rented the L and I am a solid size 6. The skirt and sleeves were too short on my 5'11" frame and the overall fit was super tight. Don't rent unless you can get a size two sizes bigger IMO. Loved the sleeves- which this was a better fit because the dress is so cute!

I loved the look of this dress however the fit was terrible. I usually wear a size 6, which is a Medium. I put it on and barely zipped it up. It was so tight in the bust and waist but then the sleeves were, obviously, very flowy as was the bottom/skirt. The dimensions were just off and made me not like wearing this dress. It did look good but felt constricting and uncomfortable.

This dress is really cute - and I had high hopes - but it was just way too tight. I had visions of this with tights and thigh high boots for a date night. I could barely zip it and knew I'd never make it through the night. I'm a 36B and it completely flattened my chest from the side (though from the front it definitely didn't look flat!). I can usually fit into a medium, or a small large but this was definitely really cut small! The material is thick and great quality, and the buttons on the cuff are covered and adorable - For those of you on the smaller side please rent so I can live vicariously through you :-)

i'm a small in most dresses and a medium in Alexis, but i had to size up to a LARGE in this dress. I have never been a large before...wtf!?

I wore this dress to a daytime shower. The bell sleeves were a lovely touch and I loved the peachy/pink color! I found this dress to run small; I have a small frame and wore the large. The neckline was lower than expected showing lots of cleavage so I wore a matching scarf to be more comfortable.

Loved the color and design.

The dress was snug in the chest (and I'm only an A-B cup), but had a little room in the waist, which worked out well for my body shape. The neckline can definitely be revealing pending your bra choice, but overall is a very sophisticated dress. The salmon/pink color and statement sleeves make a big impact. I'd recommend it for fall or winter events.

At first I was trepidatious about this choice. I had rented it for work but it is decidedly NSFW as it is extremely low cut and very form fitting through the bodice. It was simply perfect for my husband's company Christmas party however. The small was very snug but in no way obscene. There was definitely some cleavage. Not too crazy with a C cup. The sleeves are beautiful and have cute velvet buttons. I wore it with black mules to accentuate its 60's vibe and they coordinated perfectly.

Alexis makes beautiful dresses. The fabric always feels luxurious. Unfortunately I was not able to wear this dress because it does run about a size small. I am a womens dress size 6-8 and the medium was very snug. The color of the fabric doesnt allow for much give in the fit. This cut of dress I would have rather had worn it overly large than overly snug. Rent the Runways was fantastic and helped me in a pinch order a back up dress because this one didnt fit properly!

I wore the medium dress, which was a little big on top. I had the small however, it was too small to zip up around my rib cage/bust, so I ended up wearing the medium. The drest is about mid thigh level. The top is very low at least for me, I wear a 34c and the girls were diffentialy out there. The dress defiantly has a vintage 70s vibe, but I love it. Recieved tons of compliments.

This dress is so pretty! The details are great, the buttons are velvety and very pretty. It was dressier in person than I expected but is very pretty and fit well.

Love it - classy. It runs small, but the material is thick enough so it held things firmly. Loved loved the sleeves and the black buttons. One of those dresses that you won't find anyone else wearing which is an added advantage.

I typically wear an 8 and even with a Large, the dress was tight. But, the quality & color of the dress was exceptional. Would've loved it in a bigger size.

Dress is great however I am tall and it ran so short I had to wear it with a high waisted skirt. I am relatively thin and could have sized up for more room in the hips. Definitely too short in size small to walk and sit in. Size up!!

Gorgeous color and good quality. Super feminine. I am a solid size 8 at 5'6", 140 lbs, with an athletic build and 34 D/DD chest and I may have been able to have someone zip me up, but it was too tight of a squeeze in a size medium. Felt like this medium would have been better suited for someone in a size 4/6. I'm awaiting a large and hoping it works.

A little tight in the bust for 32DD and if you are planning on sitting in this dress for a long period of time it will ride up a bit. Overall I received so many compliments on this dress at my bridal shower and I would definitely recommend it for a shower or wedding. The material is not light so keep in mind if you are planning on wearing it in warmer weather to make sure you will be inside.

Was a bit baggy on me. Needed to wear it with a camisole otherwise too low cut for daytime.

this was a stand out dress at a bachelorette party where we had to wear pink. it was pretty short and ran small so i had to wear the large. it was SUPER low cut...my tots were out! I had borrow a bra from a friend since mine was showing. It was flattering and unique. the material is very thick and nice. it was pretty difficult to wear a coat with the volume of the sleeves. It wasnt my favorite rental ever, but it was fun to wear! i paired with black tights, black suede peep toe stiletto booties (because it was unseasonably freezing), and a chunky rhinestone necklace.

This is a sexy dress that shows the right amount of cleavage. It did run a bit small.

I wore this with black skinny pants and pumps to work. The color was so flattering! I am usually a 6-8 so got the medium. The chest was a bit snug on me (I am an A cup) so keep that in mind as you are sizing if you are busty! It probably would have been a bit too short for me without pants, but it is really pretty! I may rent this again as part of my unlimited subscription.

Great dress and quality, but recommend a size up!

Very cute dress. However if you have a large chest forget it. Made it way too tight across the shoulders. I could barely lift my arms and my chest felt like it would make the seams explode. I normally wear a size 4 and even a medium was not working in this dress for me.
