I typically wear a M but L in Alexis. This fit true to Alexis sizing for me.

Not sure why this dress isn't as well received as it deserves. This dress is amazing -- it was comfy and flattering and unique! I accidentally returned the sash but even without it the dress looked adorable! I am 5.4" and the length was great too. 10/10 recommend!

I was afraid an XL would be too big but it was great! I think if I had gone smaller it would have been too short.

LOVE this dress, very cute and fun. Fit is great, love the tie at the waist, great color. ALTHOUGH it wrinkles like no other and you can't get them out. The material is a thicker dress shirt material, and I don't know if the one I received was starched without being pressed or what... but the thing just stays wrinkled. Luckily I think people thought it was supposed to be that way, several compliments. I'm 5'3 and the length is great but definitely cannot bend over.

Loved this dress!! The cut is super flattering, skirt details are adorable and flirty, the color is so fun and fresh!! It is a lot of green, so I paired it with a navy vest and blazer and gold belt. It definitely needs something to accent your waist... the green belt that it comes with, is just kinda blah. Overall it was fantastic and the exact reason I love RTR.... make a statement, standout and send it back!! Way to memorable to keep and wear again!!

Had to get a large because of the top and it fit great and wasn't too long.

This dress was super fun to wear to a work St. Patrick's Day party. I would say it definitely runs small. I sized up for the M and the buttons were still pretty tight in my chest area. Definitely let me stand out!

Let's just say I'm glad I didn't buy this dress... def better in theory (in my mind) than when I wore it. Have to be worn with the belt or it looks funny. Interesting frills on the skirt but still kind of whatever.

This is definitely a trend setter, and no one will be wearing anything like this dress while you attend an event. It is a little tight in the shoulders, but I am a college athlete so that might be the reason.

I wore this to work and to run errands - got several compliments! Also very comfortable and perfect length.

Pros - Green strips look great on tall women with green eyes, the material is quality, the buttons were sewn on to never fall off. Cons - I couldn't own this because maintaining the wrinkles just the way they are supposed to fall would be iron-torture or dry cleaning nightmare. Will order again if still available next St. Patrick's Day.

The dress fit true to size - might be a little short for someone taller, but thankfully for my height it was definitely appropriate for work. I got so many compliments on this, will definitely be renting again!

I always size up in Alexis. This was a M and I am a true 4 and it fit great. Perfect spring or summer dress for work. Lots of compliments from the students (I am a professor). Professional and fun. A little on the short side but not inappropriate.

I chose to wear this without the belt. It was still flattering and flowed nicely without it. The fabric doesn't breathe easily.

I love Alexis. Per usual this Alexis dress is short especially if you are curvy. This material is really wonderful. I didn't wear this dress as I was not comfortable with wear the seam hit my rear. It hit right where it "pops." If you have a booty you know what I mean. That wasn't too bad but this dress has this flaps that are just a bit odd. If you have more of a straight figure then it might be a better fit. I am bummed as it is really nice looking. I normally wear a medium. I was concerned that this dress would be too straight of a fit. While it did fit, I just didn't like where is hit on the skirt part.

The dress is not suitable for big breasted women. It gapped open at the boobs. Bummer. Super wrinkly. The material is supposed to scrunch, but the ruffle flares weren't pressed.

Don't rent- trust the reviews. Hard, wrinkly fabric.
