I am 5'8 and weigh around 150. I have been an athlete all my life and still play volleyball so very athletic build. I have bigger shoulders and a booty and thighs. I'm usually a 6 and a size 40 is what I received and fit great. I say runs large because it was not fitted anywhere on my body which I ended up loving how it fit but felt like the style of the dress would run a little smaller overall. The straps did come unattached but was able to reattach. I did end up wearing spanks to smooth everything out as the material is very delicate and an adhesive bra from Victoria's Secret in a B cup. Although the initial dress I ordered didn't come on my delivery date but a bright pink and mint green dress did RTR fixed everything and the customer service was outstanding. I missed an email saying the initial dress was damaged and wouldn't be arriving. Debi sent me several dresses that she could next day and all was well and the bride wouldn't hurt me for not wearing a pale pink. I would recommend to anybody just don't go delete email happy with any RTR emails and read them because I had a very stressful 24 hours. Cheers! Leslie | Seattle WA

This dress was absolutely stunning. Has a satin panel so is very dressy. Could not be casual. The straps are silver chains and one broke as I was getting in the car Luckily my husband was able to fix it. I was conscious of it so careful the entire night until the end of the night, the other strap broke! He fixed it too but if you are bigger chested so the dress is tight in the chest (which looks good and fit correctly) a false move you can lose a strap!

Favorite dress from RTR! It's simple, yet sophisticated. I didn't have any issues with the straps as others reviewers, the silk detail elevates the dress. 10/10

This is a very cute and simple style. I really liked the color, however if you have a light/pale skintone, I may suggest straying away since you might look washed out in this style. The fit was great and it fits true to size. The fit is supposed to be looser and not super tight or fitted. The tea-length and the chain strap detailing make this a unique twist on a formal style.

Got this in a size 42 (us size4 as stated in the description). This fit more like a size 8! I mean it was falling off of me! Luckily I go this through the unlimited program for an event in June so hopefully when I can select new items the correct size is available! Beautiful fabric and dress.

This dress was sexy, but classy. I wore this to my rehearsal dinner, and it made me feel absolutely stunning. It hugged my curves in all the rights ways!

This dress falls in all the right places. I would recommend for both day and funk it up with a leather jacket at night. I wore this to brunch in NYC in Spring and got a lot of comments. Very flattering indeed. The only negative is the metal strap did undo so be sure to take some small silver safety pins with you for back up :)

This dress is beautiful and comfortable. It fit true to size and was an absolute show stopper. The left strap did break but my husband easily fixed it. I would highly recommend this dress.

i would have worn this dress if i were 5lbs lighter. this is def made for someone very slender. very very pretty dress, nice material, a skinnier me would rent this again!

Perfect for a work party holiday event. The fabric is soft and feminine, with the inside layer shimmery. Fits very similarly to the model. The only issue was the straps were fairly tight, even for someone who does not have much in the chest department. I was concerned throughout the evening that the jeweled straps would snap.

Runs small. The straps, front & back chest fit poorly due to the size of my breast. However, it is a beautiful dress.
