These are definitely not sized for an XL; I couldn't even think of trying them in I just could tell. I had my size 6 daughter try them in, too small for her she couldn't get them zipped, them l my 14 year old daughter sized 2/4 tried them on and they fit her. I don't know what size they think XL is but it's not even close
