This dress is a complete knockout!

Tight in the shoulder

The color is fabulous in person and pictures! No zippers on the side or back, just a small zipper on the left shoulder. The sleeves are beautiful but Tight! TIP 1: size up, especially for the sleeves TIP 2:first put your head in and then slowly and gently tease the sleeves up. After that slowly unfurl the dress. I nearly ripped pulling. Once on, the it was very comfortable!

This dress was just so-so. First of all, I’m usually a size 38 (6) and I had to size up to a 42 (10) in order to get my arms to fit. The 42 fit like a 38 for me. It is definitely short. As long as you aren’t having to raise your arms above your head, you’ll be fine. I’ve got a big butt and it draped over my curves nicely. Basically, if you aren’t having to move too much, it’s great.

I have been eyeing this dress for months for the gorgeous color and fabric. Followed the advice of other reviews and sized up, so I had no problem with the sleeves. What I did not expect is that it is gathered on the left such that it is much much shorter on that side, practically showing cheek from certain angles (and this was in a size 42 vs my normal size 40). Additionally, while I hoped the ruching in the front would be flattering, it instead accentuated my post-Christmas cheese belly, and to top it off, my husband told me it made me look broad shouldered. Alas. The color is beautiful, but it had to go back.

This dress has a strange fit but is really pretty. The material is beautiful bright blue and velvety. The fit is a little snug, so if you want to be more comfortable, I would suggest sizing up.

Initially rented the dress in a different size the first time, but it was too small to even fit over my head in the shoulders and arms. The second rental of the dress fit a little bit better where I could actually get it on; however, it is still a somewhat tighter fitting in the arms, chest and shoulders. Overall, I received a ton of compliments and it is a great fit for any fall or winter cocktail wedding.

The fabric is stunning in person but definitely make sure you are getting dressed with another person nearby to help get your arms in. The sleeves are so tight!

I loved the color and material and fit with the exception of the slit length which hit just above the widest part of my hips. I did the world a favor and did not wear this. This will be lovely on ladies less than 5’ 3”. Also, the sleeves are very small. I loved the accentuated ruched look. But I suspect that the sleeves will be tight if you don’t need several links removed from watch bands.

Such a strange dress. Couldn't get into it for my proper size without feeling like I was going to rip it. Went back right away.

The reviews are true! The sleeves on this dress are not made for human beings. The color is gorgeous, the fabric is a beautiful stretch velvet, but in spite of all of that I could not get this dress on over my arms. So disappointing because it is truly a gorgeous color. Rent a couple sizes up is my advice.
