I had to wear spanx bc the front wrap does open easily but it was fine. I got a ton of compliments on this dress I usually wear a six and ended up wearing the 8 and it was still snug. Hides a slight belly- I have an infant and it hid the post baby bod! I wore with black patent peep toes and a cute RtR necklace. The black lining on the front wrap part of the dress does peel out and show but I liked it showing bc it offered a nice black contrast and looked like part of the dress. Overall I liked the dress a lot

I wore this for my anniversary at a nice restaurant. The ruching helps hide a post-baby poochie belly. This really shows off your butt. Received many compliments in this dress.

Ahhh I LOVED this dress!! I wore it for my college graduation and it looked great! I thought the way the skirt fit accentuated my hips and butt perfectly. It runs a little large but it still looked great for the occasion.

I wore this dress for my cousin's rehearsal dinner. It was very comfortable and flattering. I read the reviews, so I wasn't surprised by the color (which I loved in person anyway). It did run a little small, but the 10 was great for me. It was an OK length for me (wearing 4 inch heels made it perfect). I pinned the skirt shut and had no problems.

This dress looked blue on my computer but it is grape purple. Still very pretty, just not exactly what I expected. Very pretty, flattering fit. I usually where a 6 and the 6 did technically fit, but was a little tighter and shorter than I would prefer. The eight fit perfecty.

Love this dress! The color (yes, it's more purple than blue) is unique and stunning. The dress style looks demure at first- then you start realizing how sexy it is. Perfect date dress...well, okay- maybe not a FIRST date dress, but trust me- the man in your life will appreciate it.

Cute dress, I wore it to a wedding with an amazing necklace from RTR and got a TON of compliments. It runs a bit small, I wear a 2 normally and could have pulled it off but went with the 4 instead, much more comfortable. The waist has NO stretch so getting it on even over my small B-cups was a little hard. I had the same problem with the skirt as other reviewers but a safety pin and some tape worked out great. FYI the tape is a must as the lining is black and it shows along the edge of the skirt. And make sure you use the little snaps for your bra straps. Also, unless you are in direct sunlight this dress is purple.

I really loved this dress! Wore to a wedding and received a lot of compliments on it. However, I did have to pin the dress where the slit is so I wouldn't reveal too much leg while sitting down. I would recommend wearing Spanx as well because the material is quite thin and will reveal any lines from underwear. I don't agree with the previous reviewer that the top doesn't fit well- you just have to be sure to snap your bra straps in so they don't slide around. Overall fabulous dress and would definitely recommend!

I did not wear because I jsut loved the other dress I got, but it fits well and is beautiful on. I am only 5'0 and it was MUCH shorter on me than the image portrayed.

I got a lot of compliments and I was proud to say it was from Rent the Runway. All my friends are now curious about RTR, so I will invite them to try RTR out!

Loved the dress. I read previous reviews before renting this dress and understood that the split went up pretty high. Yep, the ladies were right! I purchased very think shorts to wear underneath the dress, but since I have hips, not only was the dress extremely short, but I couldn't sit down in the dress without revealing some goodies! So, I purchased shorts to wear underneath. However, because of my hips, even with the shorts, I still had to put a safety pi I am small in the chest area, but the dress fit kinda tight. Beautiful dress and color, just not made for curvy girls.

Beautiful dress, the color is stunning, however it didn't work for me. I'm a short hourglass shaped girl who usually wears a dress size 4 and the lovely drapes of this dress made me look wider. The 4 fit well, I ordered a 6 as a backup and this was much more comfortable - the material is SOOO SOFT and cozy, a great dress from those who want a lovely bold color and comfort you can really move in. The length came to maybe an inch above my knee which I didn't care for due to the split in the skirt - I wore my backup dress but if you don't mind the length and want real comfort this is a dress to try!

Rented this dress as a backup and glad it was only that. The dress is almost like a wrap...that just didn't go all the way around. It was very small and the fabric is super clingy. Not the best choice for a big bust either.

I only had a size 2 since this was my back-up dress, and although I normally wear a size 2 and am not particularly tall or curvy, I would have preferred a size 4. Unless you are in your early 20's or are wearing this dress for a girls' night, I would recommend renting a size up. I found it to be a little tight and short for a dinner party.

This dress started out ok, a little big, but manageable. By the end of the night it was baggy and loose.

The fit of the dress was great on my full bust & hips. The color was much more muted than in the pictures -- not nearly as vibrant as expected. Additionally, the fabric is stretchy jersey and honestly looks cheap. I ended up not wearing the dress and instead wearing something from my closet since it was such a disappointment. :(

Top is baggy while bottom is tight, these proportions make for a weird fit. Not for me.

1st off this dress is far more purple than blue. 2nd there is no way to sit down and be decent in it. That fold goes all the way up to the waistline. There is no way to sit down, much less cross your legs and not flash people. It also runs a little large and as a result shapeless. Overall it was a miss for me. Thank goodness I rented two dresses so I still had something fabulous to wear. I'm not sure who this dress will look good on.

This dress is not meant for tall women. The slit from the wrap is very high, and impossible to walk or sit without revealing too much. I was not able to wear this dress. Also the top fits a little funny, like one of the straps is supposed to sit just off the shoulder. This dress is also not cobalt blue like the name (or the picture) would suggest - it is very much purple.

Ditto on not meant for tall women and seems sized small. This dress looked nothing like the photo. The inside black jersey was completely showing along the hem that folds over. It stopped at upper-thigh, and the ruching was all twisted and wouldn't sit right. I looked like a hooker. Thank goodness I ordered a 2nd option, because this dress is completely unwearable. It was the most uncomfortable garment I've ever tried on!

I rented this dress for my Master's graduation and ended up wearing a bandeau/tank underneath since it was low cut. The vibrant color was beautiful and made for a smart, polished look.

I bought this from RTR when they were having a sale. The dress is pretty, but the black lining on the skirt shows wear it wraps right in front. The jersey fabric curls a bit - almost like the dress fabric is smaller than the lining so it pulls and the lining shows. It bothers me and thats why I haven't worn it yet. Otherwise its a nice dress.
