The fit does run large a bit. I normally wear a 10-12 and I wore the 10 and most likely could have worn an 8, the dress is super cute and fun and can be dressed up or down. The arm hole on the side with a sleeve is a tiny bit tight but other than that the dress is perfect!!!!

I rented this dress to wear for a night out in Vegas. The dress was so cute- I loved the one shoulder at the top and the ruching on the side made it kind of sexy too. This dress did run big- it looked a little bit like a sack, but maybe in the 8 it would shown more of my figure. It is definitely a great little black dress for any party or event. I paired it with cute open-toed heels similar to the ones in the picture and got many compliments!

I wore this dress to a wedding in Portland, OR, and it was perfect. The fabric and one sleeve were perfect for the cooler "summer" weather and the length made it flirty but not obscene. The dress hung great on my hourglass shape showing off my curves but hiding my tummy, which could definitely use a few more trips to the gym. The previous reviews were extremely helpful because the dress runs big and I ended up wearing my back up size that I had ordered a size smaller than I usually wear.

I loved this dress. I ordered a 6 and a 4 and stayed with the 6 which is my usual size. It was so comfortable but yet so flattering. I received many compliments on it throughout the night. I now have 2 friends who are going to start using RTR because of my dress!

I rented this dress for NYE last year and loved it. It runs true to size and fits comfortably. Fit really well even over a bigger bust. The length was perfect and not too short.

LOVED THIS DRESS!! I am 5'3", so some dresses really run long on me, this one, on the long end came almost to my knee but the gathered side came up quite a bit and gave the dress a really fun vibe. The draping was really great, as I have a little bit of a tummy, and it covered it perfect without making me look 20lbs heavier than I am. This dress made me feel beautiful all night, I would definitely rent this again.

Got a ton of compliments, and loved how effortless it was. I wore it with flats to a more casual dinner and then put heels on for a fun night out. Both worked fine with it, and I would highly recommend. I wore the 6 because the top was a little snug with the 4. The bottom is very flowy though, very flattering.

I thought this ran a little large. I think it would have looked less frumpy in smaller size, but the shoulder was so tight and uncomfortable.

This dress was my second choice, the 1st blk dress I wanted to rent wasn't available that weekend, but when I got this dress i was so happy I loved it, only thing is I would order your true size and 1 smaller.. This dress was a lil big on me, wish it was more form fitting!

This dress was amazing! When I first saw it on the hanger, I had some doubts, but when I put it on--it fit perfectly. I received a ton of compliments on the dress. It was a bit short in the back--so if you have a bit of a bootie, plan accordingly : )

I thought this dress would work on me, since it appears it wouls be looser in the hips and butt. It is looser on those areas, but unfortunately on me this dress looked like I poked are holes and a hole for my head into a trash bag and then put it on. I tried the 6 and 8. The 8 was way too big, and while the 6 fit a little better, it still didn't look right. I think a 4 would have been way too tight in my hips, although the top half probably would have fit. Needless to say, I ordered a second dress for 25 bucks, and thankfully the second style worked.

This dress was absolutely amazing! I typically wear a size 4, and it fit perfectly. I was worried that it might be snug at the top, but the band around the top fit great. I would recommend this dress for any fun event!

The dress runs a little big through the bust/shoulders. I ended up going down a size. The silk is really pretty but doesn't have the sheen that a silk formal dress would. Its more of a matte finish. Great party dress for a night on the town!

Hi all- The material of the dress and the scrunched side were perfect, but it was too big... I belted it to add more shape. If it was more fitted/tighter I would have loved it. Order a size down for sure.

I ordered a size 10 & 12. The dress ran a little big so I ended up wearing the 10. I have a larger chest so I chose a dress I knew would fit. The dress was so comfortable to wear. The length was great. The only negative was the embelishments werent as nice as the picture looks. They looked a little cheap. Everyone said they love the dress and I couldnt help but to tell everyone where I got it. Thanks RTR.

good dress, runs big. shoulder design is a bright silver. i typically wear 6 but wore the size 4, (5'2" 130#) order backup a size down. also doesn't have much shape in the middle, so i ended up pairing it with a belt.

I rented this dress over the weekend and had a different experience than the previous reviewers. The dress fits on the larger size. I am usually a size 6 and I needed a Size 4. The dress is not tapered so there is a lot of room, plus there is an elastic rather than zipper. Two other things that I wished I had known before I rented the dress: #1) The dress is definitely short. I am a bit on the taller side (5'8), and although the Size 6 was too big for me, it was really short. #2) The fabric is "washed out" and not a solid black. Some people may like this, but I thought it looked a bit tired.

I wore this dress to a special date night with my boyfriend. I had ordered two sizes to be sure that it fit, and my backup size was sized down. The backup size is the one I ended up wearing, and I loved it (so did the boyfriend)!

The dress was way too big and not that nice looking when you actually view at home. Not satisfied at all.
